  I work for a small company that has always produced external source simple PDF page design and another local company.

  However, I decided that I would like to know how to perform this simple task myself and bought InDesign.

  Please take a look at the link below for a recent design (sorry for the ads) that was made for us by this local business. Does anyone have an idea of how a design like this was fact/put together? He was with InDesign?

  My first instinct is that you can have overestimated how a simple task is.

  Calling for the creation of a specific design with InDesign without knowing the basics of the program looks like ask a driving instructor to get specific instructions to get to the supermarket in your car, rather than learning to drive.

  This design is constructed of a variety of geometric forms, with some gradients, possibly with InDesign, Illustrator eventually. Learn how to use these tools, and if you have a sense of composition, you will be able to create similar templates. And if you encounter these printed commercially, you will have another set of skills and learning terminology.

• Model design - Please HELP!

  I bought a model ThemeForest.net.  When I open the index.html file in Dreamweaver, it looks nothing like the design.  The boxes are all over the place.  I have attached two photos - one of what looks like to Web site in a browser and another what it looks like in Dreamweaver.

  Have you tried the preview of the design in DW 'Live' mode? This will give you a more clear picture of what the design will make really like.

  It shouldn't be a problem with the topic as such. Don't be fooled with the poster of 'Design' all the time to make changes. Try to get used to the sight of 'Code '. And Yes, DW is unable to make most modern CSS styles (yet). Mode Live view will be. You might even "Preview in the browser to" to see what it looks like.

• Newbie Question - Please help

  Hi I am trying to create a simple workflow where I create an object of data center and create a Cluster under the object data centre. The problem is that I can't find a way to take the object data centre later in the workflow CreateDataCentre and find the HostFolder so I can while pass as the attribute at the entrance to the workflow CreateCluster. I can't find an action that will do this for me and I was not able to correctly write the script for this. It seemed to me that the HostFolder was an attribute of the object data center and I could reference by saying something like myhostfolder = mydatacenter.hostfolder - it's been years since I did any script and when I did has been VBScript - I have obviously some difficulties with the object model and I can't find an example of code that would allow me to understand a little better.

  Would appreciate some advice on how to do it.

  This is something I should learn more than once... the provided value is a table as shown in the error.

  So it should look like:

  var myDCs = VcPlugin.getAllDatacenters ();

  for {(i in myDCs)
  If (myDCs [i] .name == "newDatacenter1") {}
  System.log ("hostFolder:" + myDCs [i] .hostFolder);
  If the workflow uses the following line
  hostFolderAttr = .hostFolder [i] myDCs;
  If action uncomment the following line
  return myDCs [i] .hostfolder;
  }
  }

  This returns the hostFolder object. The best way is to build an action to return the value.

• Newbie. Please help me! I have to get this project done...

  I shot the 720 24pa video (I thought I was shooting 24 p). Adobe Premiere CS4 can't treat 24pa. I get artifacts when there is movement. There is and it looks blocky. My original film looks very good. (I read the threads about other people having this problem, but no solution found yet). I completely changed this hour long as well as special features documentary. It wasn't until I wrote the dvd and played on the big screen that I knew it was a big Oops. (lesson learned, take a look at the video full screen after ingestion).

  I read that After Effects CS4 can handle 24pa very well. I imported the project but found I don't know even how to play. I double click on one of the sequences and he went to the timeline, but no amount of pressing the space bar he wouldn't play. I've never used after effects. First things first. HA, that is apparently the last. Sorry for hiking:

  * All I want to do is import the first pro cs4 project in after effects cs4, the problem of reading 24pa and export it to Adobe Encore and burn a dvd and just play.

  Does anyone know if it will work? Even if you don't know if it will heal my block artifacty - know - how to import the project, and then export it again? It doesn't seem to be an option of encoding mpeg2-dvd.

  I'm under deadline... I am at a loss. I'll keep searching the Internet, but if there's someone out there with any tips, ideas, ideas at all - I would be eternally grateful. This project means more to me than a paycheck

  File--> interpret the film--> main, but as said by J-M-S, which at best solve a small part of your puzzle and it solves one that should be all also repairable first directly. You can export the DVD MPEG-2 directly to the AE, but it usually isn't the best option because of the way AE works and it does not really concern to all your problems. It's really your interpretation of sequences that have needs fixing first, then everything else will fall into place almost naturally...

    I just bought the box full of Adobe CS3 Design Standard at a retailer.

    It includes the serial number on the box of the dvd.

    However it asks me to enter another serial number for a previous version of the oldest Adobe CS which I did not.

    Return it to the dealer - they sold you a licensed version of upgrade, for which you must have a previous version of qualify you to activate and use the upgrade.

    Amounts to the office this morning and when I pulled the top of Flash builder for PHP my desighn mode has been disabled. I can't do this at all. Any idea what might be going on here?

    My Builder is set to flah not Zend... which makes no sence please help

    Not sure why this is disabled in the first place. Seems a lot of other people with the same isseu with to be able to fix it.

    The solution is rather simple imbarisingly. Click window, and then select Design view.

    Desighn mode have grayed out anymore.

    Uninstall iTunes using Revo Uninstaller Freeware (more aggressive mode / end it gives - cleaning of everything), then restart.

    Download and install the latest version if iTunes from here:

    Tablet lets you directly write on the screen or use your finger as an input device (if you select the multitouch option), so if you need for this feature, then the tablet will obviously be the best choice.

    If you do not use handwriting or touch screen, then the normal option x 220 mobile is better, because it's a little lighter than the model Tablet and also slightly more robust thanks to the design of hinge different.
