In the adf error handling
Hello
I have a problem with the error handling in the ADF.
I use 11.1.2.2 version.
I've got ApplicationModule Impl in Java and several inside method.
In my managed bean I invoke an ApplicationModule method by using this code:
BindingContext bindingContext = BindingContext.getCurrent(); BindingContainer bindings = bindingContext.getCurrentBindingsEntry(); OperationBinding opBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding("myMethod"); opBinding.execute(); // here I want to check whether everything is OK, but I cannot, because of exception in line above and 500 server error
myMethod() code is:
public void myMethod() throws JboException { try { //something with exception } catch(Exception e) { throw new JboException(e); } }
and the code as it always causes 500 internal server because of the exception error in the model layer. How to handle correctly?
Hello
If you are using page fragments then check out the link below can help u

I'm familiar with Oracle databases, but still learning my way around PeopleSoft administration.
After validating the connection information of database with sqlplus from the same platform, psadmin application server start command generated an error message in the console.

While the connectivity of sqlplus had tested OK from a client, PeopleSoft Signon pside.exe two levels on the same client Windows resulted in Invalid User ID and password for the access code.
The psaccessprfl table had been updated with the connection of data validated by using a platform application server dms shell script.
The area has been configured using the application server platform psadmin. UserId, UserPswd, ConnectID and ConnectPswd had been entered and verified. Passwords have been encrypted by the suite.
The psoprdefn table showed correct SYMBOLICID uppercase and ACCTLOCK is zero on behalf of PXXXXX.
The psaccessprfl table showed too correct SYMBOLICID.
The psdbowner table showed the DBNAME and OWNERID both uppercase.
The values encrypted in the database matched other environments on the same server platform.
Why app server not sign to the Oracle database?
Using the pscfg.exe, Manager of the Windows client configuration utility, I selected the 5 first checkboxes dialog SQL Trace on the left side of the tab of the Trace, I entered the name and location of the trace people tools to create and store the output of client sessions on the same tab. Then tried another connection to the database, using the pside.exe utility. The text resulting in the newly created text file showed the last executed statement was a select on the table psdbowner. I removed my trace entries using pscfg.exe to stop tracing.
Using the information provided by the last executed statement, I ran a request and discovered that the length (dbname) for the value of the column in the psdbowner table was one character longer than the expected value.
After update the column value by removing the end interval, the utility psadmin on the server worked without error.

In any case, the issue is resolved. Make sure that TUXEDO documentation recommends-

Where as: I changed my host name of psoft_pc to psoftpc and I changed the same on TNSNAMES and everything worked without problems.
I'll mark this issue is resolved.

Page with ADF Table and form of the ADF, error: a value is required on CreateInsert
Dear all,
I am a beginner in the ADF and am under Jdeveloper Studio Edition Version 12.2.1.0.0.
I have a page that consists of two taskflows.
First workflow has a fragment which is to have a (non editable) table - top in picture below
Second task flow contains a form ADF - lower part in image below.
Click Add button again the below the screen with "error: a value is required appears.
and also a nonmodifiable line Table is created.
The code for the button "new".
< af:button text = 'New' id = 'bAddNew '.
actionListener="#{pageFlowScope.SalespersonsMainFMT.createInsertSalespersons}"/ >
Here is the part referencing of java Bean
public static BindingContainer {} getBindings()
Return BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry ();
}
public void createInsertSalespersons (ActionEvent actionEvent) {}
BindingContainer links = getBindings();
OperationBinding operationBinding;
operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding ("CreateInsert") (OperationBinding);
Object result = operationBinding.execute ();
}
Please let me know what I have to do to stop the insertion of new line in a Table cannot be changed
and then stop the ' error: a value is required is displayed ' message.
Hope the above is clear.
Please let me know if additional information is required.
Thanks and greetings
Arif Khadas
Instead of CreateInsert, try to use Create and let me know what happens.
Another option is to set the ChangeEventPolicy for the iterator binding votes to zero, and af:table; s immediate to false, as shown here:

What is your strategy to find errors that are not triggered by the WebService error handler?
Is there a way to underride the default functionality of WebService.as? I can't find the source code in the SDK, so I guess that this part of Flex is not Open Source.
I find that the use of Web services there are many errors that potentially happen that I can't capture in the user interface. Alternatively, let me rephrase, I couldn't find a way to capture in the user interface.
For example, the error message "Unable to load the WSDL" following occurs. Now, I could probably design a strategy all about check that the connection is still alive and these, but then I saw the other errors that occur in the WebService base classes that are all asynchronous licensees.
Is it possible to add a default handler than capures these types of errors? (They aren't catches by FaultHandlers).
I can't have a user interface that displays the large white box to end-users with a stack trace. Thank you.

I discovered the programmers, that when I do not use the debug version of the player that those mistakes should properly propagate to the error handler.

OfficeJet Pro 8620: In the ADF paper jam - cannot get rid of error messgae
Took the new Office Jet out of the box, put in place. Works wirelessly. I am getting a paper jam in the ADF error message. Never fed any paper in the ADF. I have reset the printer, firmware reloaded... can't erase the message. Printing and scanning using computer or iPhone, just can cannot copy.
Hi all
I found this on the discussion Forum and it worked!
Thank you John Ablordeppey of Ghana, West Africa, and Markus_M
Suggestion of John fixed the error on my JO 8620, too.
I was able to do it without removing the left cover.
Just open the cartridge door, have a flashlight and check all visible cables, pressing them firmly into the connectors.
Thanks to you two! ChrisDz

Declaration of Action in the error handler
We have an obligation to use action of reporting in the Service error handler to capture some details for the reports. We use the Proxy in this transportation options and JMS messaging, we use 'Transaction' as activated to retry messages that have failed.
Now if ever he flow fails and goes to the service error handler and there is no report get generated in the "operations-> e-mail reports. But when the 'Transaction' option in transportation options is disabled in the Proxy, we are receiving reports.
Is it possible to get the reports generated with the option of 'Transaction' enabled?Then your provider reports is managed within the same XA transaction as your agent. Validate them or the two rollback. If you want to error report that you can always use XA transactions for your proxy server, but you cannot use it to your provider reports.

Expand the error handling in AIA
Hello world
We explore the installation Error Handling Extension to AIA. For the use of this facility, I guess we need to create a custom listener to listen heading error AIA. What we intend to do is create a BPEL process that listen to this topic and run custom here logic. What we are not able to find are the details of this error AIA topic needed to configure the adapter in BPEL. Where can I find details on the subject of the error?
Thank you
John

Use the TestStand error callback if in the editor
We have an error message reminder custom in our process model to display errors of the operator. What we would do is if in the sequence editor, use the TestStands error handling (where he gives the options of cleaning, put end to, ignore, etc.). I don't see the code for this anywhere. I could put in the example so that if in the editor, use the example which has similar options, but which has a shape and a different feel. Is it possible to use programattically built in reminder vs recall process model we have created?
Sorry about that. Try this one.

SEH, Structured Error Handler, still working in LV2014?
I am using the SEH or try using I should say. Communication to the Central error handler works fine, but I can't get the options retry or call VI to work even using the code example in the palette. I'm in 2014 of LabVIEW and I just a very small test VI to try options. The problems are in the specific error handler. I put the options retry 5 times and clear the error. VI of appeal is disabled for this test. The loop runs with the error appearing in the output during the first call, and the loop exits. Have I not the wrong combination of options?
For the Retry option, you have connected in the number of loops in the iteration of entry? If you want to do it again 5 times, the SOGD needs to know the current iteration.
For the option to call VI, the only thing that comes to mind is if your path is incorrect.
It would be useful that you can share the code. Unfortunately, I can't open the files in 2014 so I'm limited to guess what might be wrong.

Hello
I want to create an error handler custom in a model similar to the ErrorHandlerExample.seq file.
In my case, I'll genereated errors in several different DLLs. We try to avoid writing wrappers around dll functions to fill in the TestStand error strings. However, this information is available by calling a 'get error message' function in the dll. Since I was more than a dll and a handful that I will need to check for errors, I need to know the information about the step that caused the error. Is there a way to get more information about the step that caused the error? I have a dll function call that had the format:
kiOpenVSA (StationGlobals.KiManager, StationGlobals.VsaSession, StationGlobals.VsaResourceString, StationGlobals.DisplayEnable, StationGlobals.SendInitCommands)
Based on the parameters of the function call, I would be able to call the correct error handling function.
Thank you
Mike
This looks like exactly what I need. I'll try and let you know how it works.
Thank you
Mike

In the portal Builder error handling
Hi all
I use a 11.1.1.9 portal generator. I wanted to ask, how we can make the error handling. Should we use standard error pages webcenter or use html navigate in the web server. Please guide me. What are the options for this.
Can use us model taskflow exception handler to navigate to the error page. Please suggest your experience.
There are several ways to achieve this.
1. to use the error page standard webcenter. You can also customize which.
2 use webgate to redirect to the error page. You can also set this in the web.xml file
3. as you suggest that you want to have the error page for each page. I'll tell you design design for your application to set exception management.
-Create custom exception handler class. Is just less than the class for example. You can write several method to redirect the error page in the taskflow model. This will be used when you want to access the standard or common portal error page all the

Logger.log (exceptionLevel, erroMessage, throwable);

}
If you want error page for each site. simple set exceptionhandler in any activity seen in the taskflow for each site. It will display the error page different for different portal.
We hope to answer your question. If you need more details let me know

My guess is that at some point your JDeveloper was out with force.
Try to delete this file:
C:\Users\yourUser\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system11.1.2.1.38.60.81\o.ide\windowinglayout. XML
and restart JDeveloper
If this does not resolve the removal of the directory issue integer o.ide and restart JDeveloper
and if it does not help remove the directory of the entire system. -
Just recently, I receive the following error message when you try to access the web sites. I use Firefox browser version 10.0.2. I get a pop-up window indicating "Exc in ev handl: TypeError: c.location is null" as the web site page is displayed in the browser winder. So, I have to click ok. Any link/website I go to what happens. There is a problem with some plugin?
It is only a problem for the SiteAdvisor users who are still on 3.4. This problem is resolved in the latest version of SiteAdvisor, which is 3.4.1.195. Go to http://siteadvisor.com and click on download. This will fix the problem.
Meanwhile, SiteAdvisor team will push down a JS update in the coming days 1-2 to automatically resolve this problem in version 3.4.
