  Ease of access was left (with an entry - rec speech - which I use... yet) so I changed the category for rec speech, but the EaseOfAccess empty category even taunts me

  Sorry, it has not been designed to be removed.  The developer who wrote the programming did not include this capability.  You need get the source code and recompile the operating system manually.

  If I understand what you're asking about, go to control panel, go to network and sharing Center and click on the link in the left pane to "change the map settings.

  That ends at the same place (network control and Internet\Network connections) you get to by clicking on the link in the help file.

  You can go directly to "Network connections" by typing "ncpa.cpl" (without the quotes) in the start menu > Search box and press enter

  After you have reinstalled Windows 7 x 64 system recovery, I went to control panel to set up single click.  Initially the Folder Options icon was available and I put in place.  Then I added a new user and noticed that the icon was not available in the new desktop Panel.  It has also disappeared from the control panel of the original user.  What is that all about, and how do I access Folder Options.  I went to help and support from the Start button and entered in Folder Options - he sent me to a help page which included a link "Click here to access Folder Options."   I don't think you can with XP Home, but you can hide or show the cmdlets specified by group policy in Windows XP Pro Control Panel.  The following article was written for Windows 2000, but should work in XP Pro:

  Which toolbar do you speak? Internet Explore toolbar or some other?

  If it is internet explorer, the problem goes away if you run internet explore without modules, probably accessible from Start - (all the) Programs - Accessories - System Tools.
