In the foreground of VI

Where can I find the VI in the foreground? I've recently upgraded to Labview 2012 and I used to have on Labview 2010, but I'm not. I think that it used to be under the user libraries.

Is there a place where I can download these screws?

Hi Eric,.

When you recently upgraded to a new version of LabVIEW you probably also recently done a backup of all your work. I would like to start searching for your VI in the backup folder.

When you upgraded your LabVIEW you probably didn't uninstall the old version of LV. If this is the case just look out there for your VI.

Both are trivial, but basic advice...

    There are 2 ways to make a window ALWAYS in front of your panel:

    1. child window.  A child window is always in front of its parent window.

    2. upper window.  Windows in the foreground are always in front of normal windows.

    I have a serious problem with windows Explorer. It keeps opening in 'My Documents' and it is impossible to close. I can close it but it immediately reopens seconds - not enough time to click anywhere else.

    It is also blocked in the foreground so that I can't use any other program, the cursor will move immediately to My Documents as the active window. I can't even go to start - run - or Start - logoff or anything because as soon as I click anywhere on the active window is new my documents.

    I don't know what happened, but I think my 1 years pressed a weird combination of keys while she was playing with my laptop. It is not a virus, because I ran a full Kaspersky scan and everything seems fine. Everything works fine in safe mode as well. It's only when I go in the "unsafe" mode I have this problem. I tried to watch the registry key as he pointed to similar problems on these forums, but I can't find a userinit registry key. What can I please?

    Hello nikitaghosh,

    I know that you have performed a comprehensive analysis of Kaspersky and nothing came, but have you run any malware removal software?  I've included a link for the removal of malicious software below, please let us know status.

    I have a variable number of both real as virtual computers on my network. In this issue, I plan only to those that are visible to the windows (they have SAMBA or similar installed and running).

    All these machines appear under ' Control Panel-> and Internet-> view computers and network devices.

    When I view on a map of entire network on my Windows machine 7 Pro, the arrangements show on the map.

    These machines that I expect not to show on the map appear correctly under ""the next detected devices cannot be placed into the foreground.

    My question is - is there a restriction on the number of machines that can appear here and is there a way to increase this.

    If I have more than 8 machines which should be included here, only 8 appear. If I turn off one of those listed, one missing is displayed.

  • How to push my application to the foreground after a phone call

    Hi all

    I develop a fairly simple application similar to a phonebook. It is possible to display the contact details and place a call to him with the help of a push button.

    I pass the call in this way:

        public void call(String number) {

            PhoneArguments phoneArgs = new PhoneArguments(PhoneArguments.ARG_CALL,
                    number);
            Invoke.invokeApplication(Invoke.APP_TYPE_PHONE, phoneArgs);

        }

    It works very well, but at the end of the call of the interface of the telephone remains in the foreground. I can't understand how I can bring my application in the foreground.

    My application is supposed to work on different OS from 4.2.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Yes, but nothing too obvious.

    the phonelistener runs in the context of the phone application. If you call UiApplication.getUiApplication () you get a reference to the phone, not your own application.

    use a global event to connect the event to your application.

  • Check if the application is in the foreground

    Hello everyone. My application runs in the background and has a GPS receiver and phonelistener. I created an eventinjector to ignore calls entrants (supposed to ignore calls only when the application is in the foreground), but it also ignores the call when the application is in the background. I tried

    {if (this.isDisplayed ())}
    Code number
    } else {}
    Do nothing
    }

    But this isn't working, the application continues to ignore all incoming calls, even when he is in the background.

  • Add SystemListener in any application related to the foreground?

    Can we add SystemListener as soon as any application, in blackberry, comes to foregound? I mean, how can I check when ANY application comes to the foreground and SystemListener add?

    Thanks in advance.

    You cannot add a listener for another application.

    You might be able to consider applications "active" and figure that it has the focus. You can also detect when it starts or stops using the ApplicationManager.getVisibleApplications

  • Notification when the Application in the foreground changes?

    Is it possible to get a notification when the application in the foreground changes?  For example, if the user launches the browser, can my application be notified?  I couldn't see anything through the global event listener callback.  I know it is possible to query for this application, but is not ideal.

    Jacul is right, you get notifications on your application becomes the application in the foreground (and vice versa) but there is no way to get this information on other applications.

  • Automatically bring an application to the foreground

    Hi guys,.

    I'm struggling with this problem for a long time. Basically I'm looking at the State of the battery and when the battery level drops below certain thresholds, I need to bring my main app window to the foreground and display an alert.

    So far, I have tried to do using the framework of the appeal, but the problem was that as soon as my app is not in the foreground, it cannot send an invocation.

    Recently, I installed Skype for BB10 and I saw a similar feature - the app goes first when someone calls me. Thus, it is certainly possible somehow. Can you give me a clue where to look?

    Very appreciated

    Thank you!

    Preferential partners get preferential treatment, including api is not quite ready for us normal developers.

    You need to wait for applications without a head, available soon, or for them to publish the api for this feature.

  • Restoration incomplete background in the foreground

    Hello

    I use the method suggested here

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/auto-start-and-RuntimeStore-usage-for-UIAppl...

    for transitionening of foreground to the background to the foreground. I noticed on os6 it worked very well. On os5 I often see that the restoration is incomplete! This means that some fields have become null! More specifically, I have 3 editFields (static), they just return null. Is - this unwritten rule that the user interface must be re-created each time and we shouldn't assume that the UI widgets would survive the transition all the time?

    Thanks for your comments.

    I use Eclipse with jre 1.5 and 5.0 plugin.

    I have found the problem. I was doing something dubious and the updating of the UI widgets without eventlock. Tests to see if this removes the problem. I also removed static - lying areas of the problem.

    Still welcome any additional info, if someone has.

  • Cannot in the foreground a running application

    I have an application of UI configured to Autorun at startup, resulting in a son, do work in the background. It has a screen that displays information about the work that are background threads.

    class AppName extends UiApplication implements SystemListener2 {
        private static AppName app;

        public static void main(String[] args) {
            app = new AppName();

            if (ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager().inStartup()) {
                app.addSystemListener(app);
            } else {
                app.initializeLater();
            }
            app.enterEventDispatcher();
        }

        public AppName() {
            pushScreen(new InfoScreen());
            requestBackground();
        }

        private void initialize() {
            // Spawns some threads doing work in the background
        }

        private void initializeLater() {
            invokeLater(new Runnable() {
                public void run() {
                    initialize();
                }
            });
        }

        public void powerUp() {
            removeSystemListener(this);
            initialize();
        }
    }

    When I run the app in the Simulator, it works fine. At startup everything works and then when I click on the screen icon is highlighted and displayed. It is the output of the Simulator:

    3:20:26.612: AM: Starting AppName
    3:20:26.612: AM: AppName already running
    3:20:26.612: AM: Foreground is requested: AppName(304)
    3:20:26.628: AM: Foreground is set: AppName(304)

    However, on the device is displayed. It's the device debugger output:

    [0.0] Starting AppName
    [0.0] AppName already running

    As you can see that the foreground application is never made. I confirmed this by overriding the UiApplication.activate () method and by putting in a message to System.out to see if it was called, but it is not called.

    Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?

    "Is there any point having the call requestBackground()?

    Good question, I don't know, I did it just for "security".

    "pushScreen() in the constructor of the app or in the initialize() method."

    I could do this in the initialization.

  • Request is not automatically brought in the foreground on the second launch

    Hey,.

    I have a problem which is probably easiest explained using the ActiveTextFieldsDemo sample that comes with the SDK.

    Basically, if I enter in my calendar app, type a number in a text field 9-digit Active, click it, and then click the location, the FmcUiApplication instance is loaded, no problems so far.

    Now, if I then choose to click on the "End" button which sends the program in the background, and you want to call the application from an active text field, I can't--newspapers report that the application runs already, if I'm going to 'demand' in the BB menu, I can see it is running, but it is not brought in the forground of the invocation of active text field automatically.

    I tried the following:

    1 place the following inside the Run() to the ApplicationMenuItem instance method.

    ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager().requestForeground(ApplicationManager.getApplicationManager().getProcessId(ApplicationDescriptor.currentApplicationDescriptor()));

    That had no effect on the application in the foreground

    2. try to close the application when it is sent in the background, by substituting the deactivate() method and by calling requestClose(). This was not able to close the application and therefore did not work around the issue.

    Any help would be appreciated!
