  These errors often occur if there are incorrect BIOS (Basic Input\Output System) settings.

  Method 1: Check if the computer startup options are changed in the BIOS. You can set the hard drive as the first boot device. In addition, make sure that this option "Wake on LAN" or one similar to it is off.

For example, in Office 2007, when this happens, I can continue typing a sentence in Word or Outlook and this line is displayed, but the rest of the message area displays remnants of Firefox.   In general, the error can be caused by a missing required device driver, a required binary file is damaged, if there is a problem with the process I/O file, or if a pilot that makes reference to an entry point in another binary file which can not load

  You can try to uninstall and reinstall the driver for the device to solve this problem.

  Step 1: Uninstall the CD/DVD driver. Follow this step to do the same thing:

  a. click the Start button, select Control Panel, click System and Maintenance and then click Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  b. expand CD-ROM/DVD-Rom drives-> right click on the device, and then click Properties.

  c. on the device properties dialog box, click the driver tab, and then click on uninstall.

  d. restart your computer.

  Step 2: Reinstall the CD/DVD driver by visiting the manufacturer's Web site.
