• Broken BIOS Firmware - ThinkStation P900 - can not wake mode 'sleep'

  In November 2014, I bought one of the first P900s to be filled - a machine from 30 to 5. As others have already said on the forum, the startup time is very very long.

  Out of the box, the machine worked without any problems. In early December, I noticed that a new firmware BIOS has been updated with the provision that promised an update on boot time, but also a fix for a problem of reactivation of S3 (which at the time I didn't!).

  After I successfully flashed the BIOS with the new version using the OS I was no longer able to wake the computer from S3 sleep. I tried all combinations of configuration of the BIOS pertaining to fashion 'sleep' - nothing has worked.

  Mid-December an another BIOS update was published on the support Web site. I loved that one too - the problem has persisted.

  On Jan 6, yet an other BIOS was released (a6jy62usa.exe) - you may have guessed, it does not solve the problem from early December wake BIOS version or the other. This update of the BIOS Jan 2015 seems to have been taken down--I can't find online. Is there a bug in this version?

  Whatever it is, the first update of BIOS that I asked my machine broke the suspend feature. Lenovo, please fix this!

  I have a video card ASUS STRIX GTX970, a Samsung 850 Pro SSDS as primary disk, two hard drives 2.5 "in the RAID and the 1 TB 3.5" drive provided with the machine. The rest is intact - no additional cards, etc.

  I just flashed BIOS v.64A and my S3 summary the problem is resolved.

  Looking at the release notes, I see that this was actually discussed in v.63A.

  Somehow, I missed the short period during which this version was online. Just saw today v.64A.

  I have the HARD drive set up passwords, so I guess that's really the question even being discussed in v.63A. For those who followed and the fixed - thank you! I can finally have a machine available quickly without needing a waste of energy.

  A small digression - after I flashed the firmware (using the flash with the BONE tool) and the computer restarted, I got an "Installer data integrity check failed". Enter the loaded BIOS defaults, so this meant a bit of extra work to get the Setup to where I got it. The only scary part was that the SATA controller was also indented on AHCI instead of RAID. Fortunately, the RAID parameters themselves on the Intel RST controller were intact and my paintings have they not suffered.

  I'm marking this post as the solution to the problem of reactivation of S3. I hope that future updates won't break it again.

  You can access the sender of a signal by calling sender(), in your case it would be the class phone I guess.

  How to remove snapshots - well, first you must have a list of the configs - they are in fact numbers and their number corresponds with the County of volume btrfs: -.

• Windows Live Mail with Googlemail - can receive but not send

  We try to access our emails from work (all transferred to googlemail) using Windows Live Mail.  I followed various tutorials and have set up new accounts on IMAP, port entering with the port 993 out 465. I made sure the right boxes are checked. Messages download fine but just won't send... I have a number now sitting in my Outbox.

  I get the error message is Windows Live Mail error 0x800CCC0D, 11003 socket error

  Can someone help on this please, I tried everything and am now ready to throw my computer out the window.

  Not sure if anyone is still looking for an answer to this question, but I thought I got this post just in case.

  First of all... Microsoft had it wrong. You need not configure GMail as an IMAP. It is a misunderstanding that began with the introduction of Windows Mail (who said laughingly in the help files it would not work with gmail at all) the settings that I used successfully with Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail are the following.

  If implemented the first use manual configuration to pop. If an already existing account setting just right click on the account name and choose Properties.

  Incoming settings:

  Name of the server: pop.gmail.com

  Port: 995

  Select: SSL

  Use clear text authentication

  The outgoing settings:

  Name of the server: smtp.gmail.com

  Port: 465

  Select: SSL

  Letter: My server requires authentication.

  Note: Select SSL before you enter the port number, because by default it automatically by default (inbound/outbound of 995 25) port number.

  We have implemented this product as our field inbound/outbound MTA. We have it talk to LDAP to the Zimbra server. The virtual computer is configured in the "All-in-One" configuration, and our user Zimbra's email accounts are in a subdomain. When an administrator logs into the device, we can see all messages from spam for users with a normal e-mail as [email protected]. How do we get the Sonicwall appliance to map the address enter the real address in the LDAP protocol?

  SonicWALL support has been unable to understand. I asked if we should create a rule inbound rewrite domain.com to the sous-domaine.domaine.com and they said no. I had to create an outbound rule for work.

  Email Security is only configured in the actual LDAP query LDAP information.

  If this is not correct, so I used a LDAP browser to get a LDIF from the LDAP server to see what attribute is assigned to the correct email address then set the LDAP request in e-mail security to use this attribute.

  In fact, I'm looking how to disable the network for all profiles (Public, private, domain) discovery and how to disable the file/printer sharing just to the private profile and public with a GPO or a script.

  I ' found some GPO as disable inbound/outbound rules for sharing files/printers and discovery of the network, but I think that a better and more easy solution exists.

• Exchange with TMG

  We have two servers to Exchange 2010 DAG. They are published by TMG. Is it possible to configure the ESA from Cisco (Cisco C100V) for verification of the antivirus and antispam inbound/outbound if we continue always use TMG?

  A physical interface, or a logical interface (for example the ip address)?  I'll assume you're stuck with 1 IP and cover just to get the IPs communication work.

  Network/listeners create 2 listeners:

  We called "Incoming", put it on port 25<--for mail="" inbound="" to="" your="">

  so-called "coming out", put it on port 26<- for="" mail="" outbound="" from="" your="">

  Configure the HAT for the outgoing auditor, add the IP addresses for your Exchange boxes.

  Exchange mailboxes, set the outgoing connector to send to 192.16.0.6, be sure to set to port 26.

  Configure the TMG to send traffic from port 25 to 192.16.0.6

  Define routes network/SMTP for ESA to know where to send mail for your domains, let 'all other areas' as not defined

• Reduce the range of ports for calls crossed - Freeway

  Hi all

  We currently have MRA deployment but we have a problem with the "Crossing Media port" range set up in the subzone of the crossing. By default, this interval spend 36000 to 59999, but the FW team must reduce this ports open to 36000-36511. Is this supported?

  After change of the range we did call Jabber tests in Internet and the call is established, but we have no audio in both directions, after taking a trace with tcpdump in traffic RTP EXP-C/E see the 480XX range.

  Any idea to reduce this range without impact in the service?

  If you go to maintenance > tools > using the Port, you are able to watch all the different ports inbound/outbound highway has set up, if you are able to edit and change of range, there will be a display/change option that will take you directly to the page of configuring these ports.  Don't forget if you are editing a port range, either on the Express-C or - E track, don't forget to check if the other should also be changed.

• A global Access List for possible VPN3005?

  for example. to block the RPC (tcp135) ports for all traffic from any profile

  You can create this filter in one place and then just apply it to each group of users and each configuration of tunnel L2L.

  Go to Config - Mgmt policy - traffic Mgmt - rules, add an inbound rule, drop, Protocol = TCP, Source and Dest everything (leave them as what), range from 135 to 135 TCP DEst ports.

  Go to config - Mgmt - traffic Mgmt - political filters, add a filter whose default action is to transfer, and then add the rule that you just created to this filter.

  Now, you can apply to all users by going under the Group and on the tab general and addition of th efilter in there. You can also go into the tunnel L2L config and add the filter to the tunnel directly.

  Note that you want to test this first, I didn't do all the tests and perhaps the source/dest or inbound/outbound in the wrong way or something like that.
