• Email AOL Inbox count is Incorrect

  So, here's the question:

  I've added an AOL IMAP account to my pre more (Rev of WebOS 1.4.1). It will download all new in my Inbox. I then delete the mail. The meter will not be reset to zero. Because it downloads, it adds just them altogether. I remove the new mail, and the counter is not reset. At the present time, my AOL Inbox is empty, but the Inbox counter displays 32 new messages. Someone knows how to fix this? If there is no simple solution, is there a patch in Preware?

  Well, I found some suggestions from precentral thread. Seems to be a problem on the side of AOL, is not sure.

  Yesterday, I asked my wife to go to gmail.com and clean my Inbox because I had more than 500 messages there. She joined the gmail.com using my email and password and she cleaned to have only 12 messages.

  

  I didn't know she was done because all day, my apple mail that is related to my gmail has shown the same 500 messages. When I arrived at work this morning, I noticed that he said now 249 messages, so he did, in fact, remove (or archives), some of them. I wonder if those are the only updates that it deleted but not those she archived.

  I see tabs for primary school, social, Promotions, updates in Gmail in your browser. You must disable these. Mail will show all emails in all of these tabs.

  To disable the feature, click on the sign +. You can then deselect each of these tabs.

• All messages in an IMAP account disappeared and replacement of Inbox with a registered earlier version does not work

  A week ago, all of my emails saved on the My Yahoo IMAP account Inbox disappeared from Thunderbird on my MacBook and also from the server. Two other folders in the account to which I had previously transferred emails remain intact.

  I tried replacing INBOX-1, INBOX-1.msf and INBOX.msf in the imap.mail.yahoo.com folder (Library>Thunderbird>Profiles>n2j0cgku.default>ImapMail>imap.mail.yahoo.com>INBOX&c.)
  

  -with older backup versions (about 12 MB of emails) but on restart Thunderbird, none of them appeared in the account, and when I looked at INBOX-1 once again, he had emptied and contained only a few bytes.

  You can try this add and see if he can recover messages you protect in your local folders. If bring you it to a local folder, you may be able to retrieve them from the server.

  Hi, I'm looking to install a Fastmail IMAP with Thunderbird account and all records are recognized with the exception of the Inbox, which is grayed out. I noticed that on the subscription list, it appears as "INBOX" and even "Inbox", and here again, they are grayed. I have been successfully using Fastmail and Thunderbird with another account, and on that one, the subscription list has only when the entry, "INBOX", so I guess the problem is that the presence of an additional Inbox entry is messing things up. It is probably a problem on the end of Fastmail, or is there something I can adjust to get rid of the other entry? Thanks in advance.

  Hi Matt, sorry for not responding earlier. Your proposed change stop Thunderbird to detect all mailboxes on the IMAP, so it was not a success. However, there is one detail I disagreed because I didn't know it was important: The Fastmail account had folders inside the Inbox. After that I moved to a folder archive separate, Thunderbird has been able to recognize everything, so * that * was clearly the source of the problem.

• iPhone 6s + had some problems after upgrade to iOS 9.3.2

  1st issue is the battery. Already before the upgrade to iOS 9.3.2 since iOS 9.3.1 my battery iphone 6 s + last latency time approximately 40 hours. Now after the upgrade to iOS 9.3.2,and it last only 15 hours. I noticed that the battery went from 100% to 60% in 8 hours without using it. I change all the settings after upgrade.

I also noticed that, to start the Spotlight search, I need to get to the bottom of the home screen. Previously on iOS 9.3.1 when I push upwards, search Spotlight is cancelled and return to the home screen. Now in iOS 9.3.2,and it no longer works.

  I love my LaserJet 500 color M551 but I'm having a problem with the black toner level.  I went to spend the night to have a level of about 50-60% to 10%.  Literally from one day to the next.  I had just checked the levels during the night and the next day the black toner was low.  My use is very light.  According to the page using the number for the monochrome is 1 668.  Total is listed at 3 487.  According to the supplies Status Page 3 543 pages were printed with black and 2 154 ink with the 3, various tonic color.  The only chance 3 543 a to be healthy is if black was included in all color prints so total use of black toner without color would be in the area of 1,400 pages.   There is no way we printed 3 543 black pages and more 2 154 color pages.  We had this printer at 14 months.  We get a new pack of 500 pages about every 2 to 3 months.  At the absolute most, we printed 3 500 pages total.  Most of our impression is heavier on the color.  In fact, we have done a large number of color prints full page.  But given the way we print color is about where we might expect.  And when the black toner showed the 50-60% it was where we expected.

  So what happened? Why our drop of toner level to 10 percent from one day to the next?  I tried the cat with the support, but they did lose one hour of my time and absolutely nothing accomplished.  The service was terribly slow that it was as if a person has worked 3 or 4 cats at the same time.  So I tried it and vain.  The support representative suggested that I swap cartridges.  I don't have a spare those for Exchange.  It made absolutely no sense to me to buy a cartridge of 160-$180 if he could sit on a shelf for a year while waiting to get used.  I certainly don't want to buy and open a new toner cartridge just to know, nothing was wrong with the other.   So the line of background here is... someone has suggestions?  How will I know what is the real level of toner?  Is there a way to reset the levels?

  Better yet. Someone has this model of printer and a black toner empty known cardtridge?  If yes do you know the exact weight of a cartridge empty in ounces? I also want to compare this to the full weight of this model cartridge at 100%.  If I had these two weight I would be able to calculate the exact amount of toner remaining.

  I have a simple solution to your problem: just keep printing.  There was problems with the guarantee of toner system where there are sudden jumps in reported toner level, like what comes to live.  Unfortunately, we do not have a foolproof system for reporting levels of toner, and there is no method for re - calculate and declare a correct level in your cartridge.  Toner templates does not rise, they count only down.  When you eventually replace the cartridge, it will start again at 100%.

  The good news is that you have not suddenly lost all life of the cartridge, it looks just like that.  Your printer will continue printing normally, and the toner level be at 10% for a long time.  When the black cartridge is in fact less than 10%, the pledge starts counting down again.  I'm sorry to see this problem coming up for visitors, but it does.  There is nothing wrong, except the black toner level reported.  I know this isn't a great answer, but it is the best I have.   I'm glad you like your printer - try to ignore the level of toner for awhile.

  Download the latest installer Synaptics driver from the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  Then, open windows control panel, open programs and features, make a right click the entry for "Synaptics Pointing Device Driver" and choose uninstall.  Once done, restart the laptop.

  When windows has completely recharged, open your download folder, right click on the installer of Synaptics and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once done, restart the laptop.

• E-mail-restore items deleted from the Recycle Bin

  I use the e-mail software that came with my laptop and Windows 8.

  I deleted some emails, which settles in my folder "deleted".  As I realized that I needed these mails, I went in deleted items, checked the box next to the item and choose "move" to the Inbox.  Now the e-mail message has completely disappeared, and I have no idea where it is!  I checked all the files, but after trying again with another email, I definitely selected Move and selected Inbox.  Once again, 2nd E-mail completely gone.

  Anyone have any idea where my emails went to, and how do I get it back?

  With IMAP, nothing is "stored" on your computer. It's just reading from the server in real time using Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP).  Different suppliers to manage the folder IMAP synchronization differently (Google has a very bizzare which can (and by default, allow) email messages to 'inside' several files at the same time when an e-mail program reads from the server (which is intentional, it is useful if you like / use this type of installation).)

  But with TalkTalk, it seems more traditional, and change the e-mail program must be synchronized immediately return to the server where it copies the actions (and in turn send can synchronize the change itself to other programs of e-mail on your other computers/phones/tablets).

  Since this message seems to be missing, it can be synchronized in the wrong folder (it's a good idea to be looking for TalkTalk site Web-based email with any search function to see if you can find it and don't forget to check the deleted records / trash out there). Even if you don't remove them, some IMAP e-mail servers have a folder conflict or simply put all the problems of synchronization in the trash folder.

  If it is still not found at this point, it is TalkTalk asking if they can help to retrieve e-mail from their own backups.

  I just unpacked a brand new Acer Aspire.  I understand that it is preloaded with 8 64-bit windows.  The windows store said I could upgrade to windows 8.1 but I should update windows 8 first. I changed the settings, update manually and searched the updates of windows 8 that were a little more than 100. I asked to install 87failed them, but about.  I could get on the desktop and the glance at the history of the update - clearly says update failed.  Tried troubleshooting windows update which said it corrects a problem with admin rights and tried again.  Same result - impossible to download anything, just stuck on the download screen.  Searched your forums and have now tried a system restore before the effort to update at all.  I'm a little afraid of what to do then - seems like my brand new computer is screwed up in 4 hours!   Grateful for the advice...

  System a i5 processor, 500 GB hard drive... Seems to have McAfee on this too - have not disabled because it would be on automatic updates.  The only thing I did on this topic before you try the updates was to set up my windows account (I have already one and if it was just a matter of putting on this computer that worked)

  You only really need the KB2871389 update... Upgrade to Win 8.1 will take care of the rest...

  BTW... Be sure to create some Recovery\Reinstallation support that is available on your machine...

  Once you go to 8.1 win the built-in functionality your machine to FACTORY Recover\Restore most likely will not work...

  Since you already had to do a system restore, you may just want to factory restore now, but burn the media first... Then you will start fresh.

  Also... more pre-installed OS are the original version, so the more you buy a machine after the first version you can expect to need updates for each month that goes by...

  Once a Service Pack is released the latest machines can have, and update the counter starts again.

  8.1 win is not called a Service Pack, but it's basically the same thing...

  One more thing... it is a very bad idea to try to install 100 updates at a time. It should work, but in reality, it is a disaster to delay... Especially when the .net Framework updates are in the mix...

  Do first in groups of the same version and let your CPU usage back to 0%, before doing anything.

  Don't even make a required reboot until it happens. There is a background installation that spans a long time after their installation that same Windows Update says that they are finished. They are not

  We have a proxy service that will listen on the JMS queue and call a Business Service that invokes an external webservice with retry count/try again intervaal.

  Queue JMS-. PS-> BS-> WS

  So in case if there is no BS error message must return to the queue. So I enabled the transaction on the proxy service (use XA, activated for the request and response Transaction)

  and QOS exactly once on the BS routing options.

  Everything is going very well. Message is going back to the queue when there is an error, but the BS call isn't get retried. (According to the interval before retry and number of retries settings BS)

  Thus, in the same routing options, I said interval before retry and number of retries.

  But, citing once again it's just and raise errors and sending the message to the queue.

  Have I missed something. Any suggestions?

  I found it myself. For Christine transaction and ordering to work instead of one only once in the routing options just speicfy Best Effort. Which solves the problem.
