Inconsistency version OBIEE and customer
I installed Obiee 11 g(11.1.1.7 version) and client (11.1.1.7.140715 version). When I try to extract data from a flat file and create a SPR and try to deploy my services facilitator and Planner Java go down.why?

Which version is running on the server?
If you have installed the tools to your customers from the homescreen in OBIEE, so you don't have a version conflict.
If no conflict, then you have to connect to your Enterprise Manager and search logs the reasons why your host of java and the Planner are declining.
In addition, if the error occurs on deployment - make sure your SPR passes control of consistency (CTRL + K).

We keep all of our custom reports and dashboards in a folder in the catalog separate from outside of the edge of the box.
We have created new areas with our own standard of naming separate from the outside of the box areas.
When we improve, I really lose all the work we have already done? My dashboards will disappear? My reports will disappear? Can I import them back somehow?

Reports of will not be deleted, but some reports may not run correctly... Many tests must be done...

We cannot wait for all the reports to start working out of the box immediately after an upgrade. Good amount of tests is necessary to ensure that all former applications most commonly used reports are working without any major problems. Also, not all reports would have migrated transparently because of significant changes in versions which does not recognize the utility.Kind regards

Well for a reason my first thread is not here so Im start again, I have IE8 and it just started with a lot of error reports and custom back to the homepage it just on the same page of the article, I was reading and said that this tab was recovered, I end up having to close on restarting the program n also since I reloaded my xp cd my sound got rough n jumps, it was well before I did this if Im not sure what to do. Im not exactly smart pc and am afraid of doing something wrong then Im left to do very limited things, any help would be appreciated

Because it looks like you have reinstalled Windows XP, what happens when you turn on your computer? Windows loads correctly and allow you to connect with success? Have you completed all the updates of Windows since the relocation? Do you get errors at any time?
What version of Windows XP you are using and which service pack is currently installed? I would say confirming all your drivers are recognized and updated.

To install Acrobat 11 on 6 computers, you can purchase licenses in Volume.
But since you want for only a month, you can buy a subscription Acrobat.
A single subscription is good for 2 computers and the same Adobe ID can be used to buy multiple copies of Acrobat subscription.
However, you can opt for creative license team cloud such that you can become the Admin and grant access to 6 users who wish to install Acrobat on their machines.

I searched for a virtual machine with OBIEE and APEX pre-installed, but I can't find it... or information messages on this subject. Does anyone know if y at - it a selection of pre-designed developer programs VM with these two tools?
I currently have the "database App Development VM' with APEX in there, but I can't understand how to install OBIEE inside.
Any help will be appreciated.

Elena.PL see deployment guide in the link above - the model of computer virtual includes version of database 11.2.0.3, which should be the APEX installed by default in it. If this isn't the case, it will be much easier to install the APEX in the VM OBIEE.

Autonomous OBIEE - has no any solution of BI preconstruitse, we build the solution based on our requirement with the suite of products.
Integrated OBIEE or OBI Apps - are built on standalone. It provides this stand-alone version features all, moreover, it has predefined solutions.

I have a dimension of value based on Oracle OLAP and want to map on OBIEE Administration tool.
I was using the link above as reference:

There is no option to import from Oracle Database multidirectional. Either import/configure the view created by OLAP as Unballanced or Dimension shredded.

No, you don't 'stink' to OBIEE and you aren't big draws. OBIEE can not handle hierarchies measure today. Period. What you face Oracle OLAP is true to the CSG and Essbase as well. Are jagged, asymmetrical, etc, that no problem at all for normal dinemsional hierarchies, but you can forget about it in the hierarchies of the measure.
Basically, it comes down to the fact that OBIEE needs a 'table' to act as the 'fact '. So if I have a cube with the 'Scénario' and 'Account' then I have to choose one as the measures dimension and the other as a normal dimension.
If I choose "Account", then the members account will be flattened and becomes my fact table. The Scenario dimension becomes a dimension with the generations as the columns of the logic and the scenarios themselves appearing as members of dimension.
If I "turn" the cube and do 'Scénario' my measure dimension, accounts become members in a dimension hierarchy and scenarios become columns in my table of facts.There is no work around in any version of 10g and the "rotation" is the only way you can create reports if you work with several measures on several levels of the hierarchy.

First of all, check that the "repeat" feature is not enabled. The following article gives some information about the feature 'repeat' and what to look for.

Firefox has just upgraded today (June 26, 2013) to the version 22 and lost any selenium not color - no green, red or yellow progress indicator and what double clicking on a test case, it is used to turn "BOLD" until you knew it you were editing, or running... text is more "BOLD".
Need to know if anyone else has this problem, where can I get confirmation to report, (most other forums seem to be dead) and any other suggestions for getting help. How can I get rid of the new toolbar that have been added by versions 20 and 21?
I tried both versions 20 and 21, and both have the bugs below, so I ended up having to reinstall version 19:
Versions 1.) 20 and 21 Add a new toolbar that has nothing more than a button "Firefox" on it--and no way to get rid of this toolbar is provided. It wastes far too much space on my laptop screen - button should be placed on an other toolbars, or simply part of the defined icon that users can use to customize their menus or other toolbars bar.
2.) this new toolbar is not customizable. Therefore, I don't have the ability to recover space on the screen by the way all of my sidebar on the new toolbar, and then hide the MenuBar.
(3.) the back, forward and stop. reload buttons in my menubar no longer work. Return to the navigation toolbar and display this toolbar do not solve the problem. Or I can right-click on a web page and select these functions in the context menu: they are disabled for life again.
4.) I can no longer right-click on the menu bar or a toolbar and get a context menu you I can choose an option "Customize" - I can't ALL a context menu. In order to customize things for versions 20 or 21, I must first reinstall the version 19, make customizations, and then reinstall the version 20 or 21.Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

When you try to install add-ons, I tells me I have version 2 and upgrade.
For the past few months I have problems with Youtube or installation of extensions. In both cases, I get a message saying that I have an outdated browser (version 2) and must be updated. I installed Firefox 3 (lately 3.6.3) several times, closing of the old version of first each time. Firefox/subject shows that I have installed 3.6.3. I even tried completely remove the old version and download the new version with Safari (I saved my bookmarks, etc. in this case). Something is very wrong, and I'm unable to install several important extensions because of this problem.
I use a Mac, OSX 10.5.8.
I'm at my wits end. Does anyone have any suggestions?

6.18: others can not hear me after a minute of a call on Skype versions 6 and higher
I went back to version 5.10.0.116 as for versions 6 and upwards, I can't talk. After about a minute of a call, I hear others without a problem, but they can not hear me or hear me in staccato (and it's the same for calls to Skype-to-Skype and Skype for phone calls). My computer runs on Windows 7, I have Norton internet security. I checked and re-checked the firewall settings and Skype is on his list. And I did it for each new edition of Skype 6 and higher version, as I had the same problem with all of them. Messaging works very well.
Now, I received the message that the 5.10 version is removed... If I can't fix the problem with the version 6, I will not be able to use Skype, which is great annoying.

I join the diagnostic file, still do not have have a chance to make headlines. The attachment is a zip file containing the diagnostic log. I had to rename it to jpg, Portal refused to tie it as a zip, saying that the type of file did not match the extension.
Regarding the log files, do I understand correctly that you would need to log version 6.18, not those of version 5.10 I currently use?
