  I'm running Windows 7 Home Pro on an Asus laptop and recently decided to add my old printer USB, HP Oficejet v40, to our network via a print server, LPR Networking USB wireless home. The Installer seems to fill correctly, and my printer appears in the list of available network printers (I alone). However, when I try to print wireless, I get one or more error messages. The first and the most persistent are: a StartDocPrinter call was not issued. Sometimes (not always) this is accompanied by another popup error: the parameter is incorrect. In each case, the document I am trying to print is no longer in effect. My USB utility Server network sometimes prints, and sometimes it is available. If I connect the printer directly to my laptop, USB port, it prints as expected.

  The print driver is up-to-date. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer and print server and have also tried to reset the print server and the router, to anything will do. Any help to fix these problems is greatly appreciated!

  I have a home network with three machines of Win7. Today, I have introduced the third Win7 and replaced a WinXP machine. All three Win7 machines worked properly for months. Both machines had multiple admin users. We had a user admin added after that the problem appeared.

  There were a few typical network problems - get the machines to be able to access the directories on other machines. Resolved, I'm now faced with this:

  When each machine is turned on, we get a red cirle with a X and this error message: "username or password is incorrect."

  I bought an Acer aspire one, new, equipped with Windows XP.  When I opened the work a scfreen asks for a product key.  When I type in the 25 character product key located on the sticker attached to the bottom of the box, I get a message that the number is incorrect.  I checked with a magnifying glass, and it's OK, all right.  What is and how is it set?

  This is the WINDOWS key, not the key to WORK - which you should have seen clearly that you used a magnifying glass.

• Instant incorrect error messages

  I get messages like this from time to time for our regular shots on a PS6000:

  [ID: 4.18] Annex 4 hour for mesa volume less than expected clichés.  Planned 8, but the volume has only 0.

  But when I check the Group Manager, the right number of snapshots exist and I have no problem, create a new. The error is generally somewhat random and usually happens for one of two specific LUNS. In addition, it detects less than expected (such as 5 instead of 8). This morning, a single message listed 5 different LUN and says that everything has zero snapshots. I checked each LUN, and all had the right number of snapshots.

  Can you give the version found on github a try - https://github.com/lamw/ghettoVCB I believe that this may have to do with a bug with multi-VMDK (s).

  I try to install the client siebel, tools & sample database (8.1.1) on ' * Windows 7 * ' operating system. I installed them all passed (this is what the installer says). but when I tried to log on to the Web Client & tools it gives me "* the user ID and the password that you entered is incorrect, please check the spelling and try again."
  Sequence of my installation has been
  (1) web client
  (2) tools
  (3) sample database
  
  So I find that I was not created ODBC connection in System DSN which should be created by default.
  I don't know how to create it or what to mention it or
  -Can is it someone please tell me what I have to deal with that?
  -Is it possible to install this thing on Windows 7?
  -Are there special measures, that we need?

  Yogesh,

  I suspect that you are using windows 7 64 bit. If my hypothesis is correct, I think that the odbc entries have been created in the 32-bit version of odbc that is not default odbc for windows 7 64 bit. To confirm that running the 32-bit version of "odbcad32.exe" by running "c:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe" in the Start/Run menu. If the odbc entries are there, create the same entries in odbc 64-bit and check if are able to connect after this procedure. Let us know how it goes.

  You won't find any printer or the printer settings. AirPrint is a diffuse wifi printing system, so that these messages are actually sent by your printer and simply displayed on your iPad.  Stop messages, to bad draw on the printer itself.  If it is low on ink, then replace cartridges.  If this is not the case, check the printer manual or online support on erasing the incorrect error messages or status.

• All-in-one HP Officejet 6500 has: paper size or the type of error message problem

  I have a HP Officejet 6500 all-in-one a and am running Win 7 on a desktop computer.
  I get a paper mismatch (type and paper size is incorrect) error message.
  The printer is not connected to the internet, but it is connected by a USB cable to the computer.
  I look at the instructions to make an internet connection and they were just too complicated. So I download the update of the firmware and ran to the computer. He would not go beyond the area of printer selection where no printers were found. Clicking Refresh has not helped.

  I think I solved the problem. I went to the website to download drivers, etc., and, rather than to specify the printer, I clicked the button to let HP identify it. It came with the correct name (see post) preceding. Then, I downloaded and installed the full feature software and driver. The first attempt to print from Excel led to the mistake of page size, but, on a whim, I tried twice and had two successful prints without error. Until further notice, I mark this as solved problem.

  I see that you have problems with ink.  I would like to help.

  I suggest to remove the cartridges and perform a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

  "I also recommend the continuation of the procedure described in this paper on a ' cartridge Incompatible ' or 'print cartridge is missing, improperly installed, or not intended for your device' Message appears on the computer.

  After clicking on the icon of Firefox, I get the error message "this application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect".

  I uninstalled Firefox and deleted all the Mozilla files in my user account in the Documents and Settings folder. I installed the latest version of Java. Then I installed Firefox 12.0.

  I had this same problem when I updated my Firefox 11 to a later version of Firefox 11. I hadn't saved the old version of Firefox 11, and I couldn't find on the web, so I went back to Firefox 3.6. I am currently in Firefox 3.6.28.

  I'd like suggestions on how I could get over this stumbling block.
