Increase the opacity of the semi-transparent pixels

Using the tool eraser or many other methods I can put pixels in a layer be semi-transparent. Let's say I have save such a layer without history. How these 100% opaque again pixels? Y at - it a tool that does the opposite of gum?

As long as the pixels have not been completely erased, you can try to duplicate the layer several times, and then merge duplicates for more opacity in your pixels.

  • Is it possible to restore the opacity in a semi transparent PNG?

Through the window of the channels, I can paint on the R, G and B channels individually. That's fine, but where is the Alpha channel? Photoshop only allows me to create a new layer of opacity that simply subtracted from the native opacity of the PNG - may not add to it. What I need is increasing opacity.

In other words: I have the parts of this semi transparent PNG, and I need them to become opaque. How can I do?

    Hey, doubtful.

I'm not in front of my computer, so I can't test this theory out, and I don't know your exact layer configuration, but what happens if you duplicated the semi-transparent layer several times? Each repetition must add an additional layer of opacity, ultimately having an opaque image result.

With this selected layer, CTRL + J (Windows) or command + J (Mac) is the shortcut to duplicate layer.

Give that a shot and let us know if it works.

  • I have a problem getting the semi-transparent icons to appear...

I can't get the semi-transparent icons to appear (those that show if an image has been previously published, collections or cropped Rapids). I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction on how to reset or reapply.

If you are talking about those in the vignettes in the film strip, you have resized the film until they are too small to display. Try mousing over the top border, and drag it larger to see if they reappear.

  • Progress with the semi-transparent cursor display?

    Hello

I'm working on a project which controls 28 rooms.  I want to have a screen with bars of different colors for the different stages.  I'm here thinking sliders.  I want to fill them before the start of the execution and then have a coverage slider which is semi transparent to cross.

I don't see a way to get the transparent semi with the cursor in another.

My next idea is to have a translucent image 2D on top that changes size running.

    Simple suggestions?

    Thank you

I can't the fill is semi transparent?

Yes. As I said, there are a number of ways in which you can do, but to stay in line with what you already have, you can create a semi transparent PNG square (I like Paint.NET, but I think that PowerPoint should also work for this) and imports that instead of filling. The key point is that, once you do this, you need to hide the background of the slide. To do this, select window > show window pieces in the editing mode and find the part called cosmetic. Change its size and position so that it is hidden. Alternatively, you can import a transparent image to replace it. Will allow you to see behind the slide.

  • The copy does not copy everything and makes the partially transparent pixels

I had this happen several times now when I copy a selection it will copy everything it contains exactly as it appears in the reference. It copies sometimes more and sometimes he makes outside partially transparent pixels. It's a bit annoying when you do the SNES. A way to disable this option? See the pictures attached for reference.

Artur: Try to do this with the option of "smoothing" out on the magic wand Options bar.

My guess is because this option is enabled and that your work is so small (because it is based on the pixels), Photoshop is interpolate the selection to include a "smoothing" to transparency.

This work has a hard edge, so there is no need of anti-aliasing.

  • Button, screen change to the semi transparent white

I am new but not Adobe Captivate product.

I build my images in photoshop and import into Captivate. I have a next button which I am activation with a box of click "go to the next slide. I have the slide to 20 seconds in length. At the end of the slide, the screen turns white semi transparent covering everything except the button. I would have preferred that the screen remains fully visible until a user decides to click to the next slide. Being new Captivate, I probably make a simple mistake, but at the same time may not know how to get what I want. Thanks for any help,

    Hello

Rick pointed out what is the most likely cause for the 'transparency' you see: fade in / fade out (your PS image) object. If you do not want the transition fade, open the properties of the object (select it and use Enter), the transition can be found under the Options tab. And by default there will be also a fade to the first slide and fade on the last slide. These can be changed under Edit, preferences (or SHIFT + F8), part of the project, beginning and end.

  • Cookie cutter and the removal of the transparent pixels

Unlike culture, when I used the punch, transparent pixels remained after I accepted the Cup.  By Ctrl-clicking in the layers panel > menu Image > crop, only made a rectangle of trimming, bounded by the x / y form max.

Is there an easy way to remove all the of them, following the outline of the shape?

Each digital image is always rectangular (or square). That's the whole point of transparency: it allows to watch as it has the shape of a star or a sailboat or a German Shepherd, even if this isn't your rectangular image.

  • Why transparent pixels add so much to the size of the file?

no doubt and I hope that I simply don't see something simple here, maybe it's just how things are but I have to say that I don't know why they are it seems strange...

the thing is when I save an animated gif (except for the web...) I find that if I use a single color background clear size may be radically different when you use the transparency option, if it is turned on (while the non-transparent pixels are accordingly, white Uni) I'll see normall about half the size of the resulting file that I had chosen to have this not selected (using the same origin).

now, if I really want to use transparent pixels in the gif, the result will be a file size double than with a background fill.

so my question, why is this? Is there a cure? So then what?

now added screenshots... These are all using the same graph, the size of the file is comparable between the images labelled 1 and 2.  Strangely, the output size goes backwards when I try this graph with 16 colors...

    Hi nt4bys,

Space empty and transparent is information as well. If a PNG image has an alpha channel, each pixel is made up of denunciations (r, g, b, a) for components red, green, blue and alpha. In the case of a transparent pixel, only alpha is simply 0, but it is information that is present in the file. That said, you want to minimize background or edge of transparency which can be cropped out of the picture of the moose. There are also tips and tricks to save files and the lowering of the size of the file. For example, http://tinypng.org is a site that allows you to reduce the size of your PNG via a service.

    Hope that helps!

  • How do the layering of colors on the only non-transparent pixels?

Microsoft PAINT - how can I amplify a drawing are in paint, to increase the concentration of pixels?

    Hi Uuj112,

Concentration of the pixel depends on the quality of the image. If the image quality is very good, then you might be able to enlarge the picture with good quality.

You can try to resize the pixels in Microsoft paint. Try the following steps.

    1. open Microsoft paint.

    2. click on the Home tab > resize

    3. click on Pixels and trying to adjust the horizontal size of the image.

  • Stage3D semi transparent textures

I been playing arounf with the Stage3D with moderate success, but I have a problem of rendering of transparent textures.

as you can see some of the faces at the back are rendered only partially.

For example, the underside is rendered through the front, but not through the side)

Does anyone have an idea what could cause this kind of behavior?

You can see the demo here. (www.spoboyle.co.uk/demo/) click to pause rotation

I have also included a screenshot

    screenshot.png

I have a solution for the problem of the cube (or any convex polygon)

shoot the before faces draw the polygon and then down the back faces and shoot again.

so, usually when it comes to the semi-transparent objects

    first draw all opaque objects

then draw all the semi-transparent objects in order starting with those more away from the camera (convex objects should be twice as mentioned above)

If you have any polygons concave all I can say is good luck!

  • When you use one of the themes Aero Windows 7 (x 32), PDF files appear semi-transparent.

I can't read PDF files in my Firefox browser more. It seems that if they are semi-transparent: the fonts are blurry, and they have the same color as my theme Aero frame. I can see my photo office by police. When I save the PDF, and then open them offline, they are displayed as they should. The prints also appear normal. BTW, when I change to a classic theme, PDFs appear normal.

  • Re: Satellite A660 - 12 X - dead pixel on the screen and how to increase the sound?

Hello 3 days ago (20 July), I bought this laptop and I have 2 questions: I have a dead pixel (red color) on the LCD screen, I tried to use the java applet:
http://www.JScreenFix.com/applet.php?width=1366&height=768 to remove it, but to no avail. I looked at your table of replacemente lcd but it didn't understand because my resolution was not on it. So my question is: how many pixels I must have because I complain?

Another question, windows 7 permanently "think" my DVD player is a mountable/no mountable option, which means that I can take it apart like a USB pen... no doubt I am lack of pilots... but I don't know which ones that...

And another little question: How can I increase my sound on this laptop? I'm a little unhappy with the sound quality, my previous laptop (of the older generation) had a better sound quality...

Thank you for you time :=)

    Hello

    > So my question is: how many pixels I must have because I complain?

More than that, you can read under

    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB5400ZD0002R01.htm

To determine the number of pixels, you can use a program like, dead pixel tester.

    > Another question, windows 7 permanently "think" that my DVD drive is a mountable/no mountable option

Perhaps, you must delete the upper/lower filters:

    > And another small question: How can I increase my sound on this laptop?

If the sound at high volume settings and it is still not enough, there is nothing to do. of course, you can install the most powerful speakers or use external one. You should try to update a sound card driver, I doubt, however, it helps you to:

  • How can I increase the pixel size in iphoto

Hi, I'm trying to increase the size of the pixel in iphoto - they need to have a minimum of 500 that can be used on ebay.  Any ideas?

Photos does not increase the size of the pixels when exporting.  You get just the size of maximum pixels is your photo.

    Try this web page: http://www.imageenlarger.com

The image enlarger tries to fill in pixels without blurring the picture.

A quick and dirty method would be to zoom on your photo in pictures and take a screenshot.
