  I've been using demo version of C4 and updated today.

  My system automatically open files C4 C3 first decided to remove my C3 sytem.

  Now I can't open any of my old files C3 to C4.  What heppens is C4 says to reformat the project, it can be used in C4 as expected.  The system goes and he does things but no other file is produced. I try to open the original file of the C3 and do the same round loop with no success.

  Please help as I cannot perform the work until I can open the files.

  Ideally it should work even when the CP3 has been uninstalled.

  You can do the following: -.

  (1) create a new project in CP4 and go to file-> import-> slides and objects and select the cp3 project file.

  (2) but now you are installing cp3 still... Open the old project in cp3 and copy all the slides. Create a new project in cp4 and paste.

  Working in CS6 on Mac OS X 10.7.5: when I double click on an INDD file in the Finder, I get the following error in InDesign:

  "The 'name of the doc' document could not be opened. InDesign can't open files in format 'InDesign CS5.5 Document '. »

  It started recently and I was not able to understand why. I've not updated INDD or OS X. I can't think of anything that has changed, except perhaps an update to Java. Have not updated the latest OS yet.

  The I'm opening the files are files that I created with CS6 - only a few minutes ago.  I can open fine using the file > open command in InDesign, so I can open them, but I can't open them by double clicking it in the Finder or by dragging the INDD icon in the dock.

  The info in the said Finder's "Get Info" window is configurΘ for dΘmarrer in CS6 CS6 files and I have permissions to read and write. They are not locked.

  It is not disabling, but rather annoying and slows me down since it is one of the most common ways I open files.

  Any suggestsion would be appreciated.

  Probably will not work because this looks like a problem of operating system of some sort, but you can try trashing the prefs see replace your preferences

  Have you tried to simply open the file normally CS5?

  Or (which corresponds to the options Windows) DoubleClicking the file, or right and open with and choose CS5?

  Something strange happening never happened before.  I used to be on CS6 but now am on CC with the latest Adobe Camera Raw.  I used to be able to select three photos in camera raw, then click on tools and then I see my Nik Efex plugins and pick the one I wanted.  But I see now is Photoshop under tools at the bottom as an available option to open files.

  How can I open three files in HDR Efex Nik of Camera Raw?  Is there something wrong here or am I just not doing things right.  It seems that I did this before and now I can't.

  You cannot open cs6 projects in older versions of first no way around this sorry. I agree that it stinks.

  However, you can open the project in cs6 then save it as an XML or EDL or another format of alternative project that first offer for you to use. Open inside Premiere Pro 5.5.  However these types of projects don't always translate correctly. However if the project is pretty basic it should open with this method almost without problems. (In most cases)

  Also if you know that you can open projects from older versions of the software. You cannot do the reverse, however. So if you have any projects of cs4 or cs5 you can open within the most recent versions of the software. But cannot open projects to the new version using the old version.
