  When I try to do a CC update I get an error message U44M1I210, "failed update - impossible to extract the downloaded files. Try to press to redownload again. (U44M1I210) ' - help please - re-don't download makes no difference, applies to the latest Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CC, others seem to be updated without problems. I can see the disk image files in the AAMUpdater folder, but they will not open and come up with message ' could not be opened - busy resource.

  Another thing that makes everything work ultimately (after I finally properly installed all Apps CC etc - I couldn't get the Apps to save my preferences for each of them and Indesign would not open yet).

  Make yourself as a user in the users and groups on "Admin", is added and with privileges "read and write" and "Apply to the clos etc.", when you 'get Info' on the hard drive if you can access/modify all the files and folders on the hard drive.

  I recently installed the Fusion 3 and now I'm having a problem with my Creative Suite of evil. InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (although less often the latter) gel - not just after a sleep etc, but until every 5 or 10 minutes. I'm going absolutely CRAZY and I am becoming extremely frustrated. I googled the question and have read in many forums that Extensis and the last update of Fusion 3 is the source of the problem. At this point I'm forcing quitting and reopening of documents regularly. The interruption of my calendar and deadlines creates intense stress. I installed 3 merger last week, but it is only since yesterday that frost became apparent and immediately unbearable.

  Does anyone have advice? I can't go on like this. If I dump Fusion 3 and unistall, my problems will disappear? Of course, I won't be able to manage my fonts very well, but I couldn't care if you consider the alternative. Can anyone recommend an alternative font management program which does not send the Adobe programs in a complete collapse?

  iMac running Version 10.6.8

  Intel Core i5 at 2.8 GHz processor

  4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 memory

  Adobe Creative Suite 5

  Turn off auto-activation in suitcase fusion.

  To disable automatic activation, go to Suitcase Fusion > preferences and disable "Scoped them fonts" option on the Activation of the Preferences dialog box tab

  and remove this plugin;-

  / Applications/Adobe Illustrator CS3/Plug-Ins/SCFusionILLCS3Plugin.aip

  / Applications/Adobe InDesign CS3/Plug-Ins/SCFusionIDCS3.InDesignPlugin

• InDesign cs5 and photoshop cs5 preferences installed as one.

I'm just wondering that perhaps some of the Indesign cs5 and photoshop cs5 preferences are the same. I think that these files are the reason why both applications are very large.

  For example the Adobe Bridge cs5, I think that Adobe Bridge is installed twice in my computer. One and the installation of Indesign from Photoshop.

  Hi all. I have Indesign CS5. It is installed on my desktop and my laptop, who both the Professional Windows 7 operating system.

  Problem: The workspace panels do not work on the laptop. I can close the panels and open them, but I can't click on a specific page or a master. I can't choose a shade. I can't select a value stroke, etc. etc. If I draw a rectangle on a blank document, I can't use the tool Panel and select the pointer tool, I use the hotkey "v." and even after doing this and clicking on the rectangle I can't assign a color from the swatch Panel or anything like that. Basically, Indesign is a useless application on my laptop and I NEED.

  I think that it is possible to make such a script - via BridgeTalk , you can trigger a script Photoshop since InDesign passing parameters to it. However, InDesign provides much more control on the text that it is impossible to recreate in Photoshop - alignment for example vertical in a block of text.

• Image loses quality when I print to indesign, but in photoshop.

  Im having a little problem with jpeg and tiff files, if someone could help it would be amazing!

  When someone gives me a format jpeg or tiff (300 dpi), I place it in indesign, I then print and the image quality is terrible. If I open exactly the same file in photoshop and print it directly from there its quite well.

  Why, and what it does?

  If I use a psd file, it works fine, it just seems to be a problem with JPEG and TIFF files.

  Using a CS4 on Mac. Printing on Xerox Docucolor 5000 using a Fiery Rip.
