  Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  Unfortunately, I have several problems (mechanical and software). I need help on startup TOSHIBA ECO UTILITY that no longer works. I have re-installed and it still the same situation.   I put t know if this will help but please try to reinstall Toshiba Value added Package and Toshiba ECO utility. Remove both the system, restart your computer, clean using CCleaner registry entries and then reinstall the VAP and ECO utility.

  We have just improved my mobile son of XP to win 7, now the zoom optical mouse 3000 feature no longer works. He is visually impaired and needs this tool in order to be able to read the screen. Is there a downloadable fix for this?

  It seems that your Norton Software was corrupted or deleted a related file of the utility Thotkey. Did you check the safe mode and reinstall the utility THotkey?

  I bought my At200 tablet in early 2012 (April) used only for a few months when the screen broke.
  Has spent more than 6 months to try to find a place where they can fix. Then sent to my brother in Hungary to fix. He sent to different locations as well as Toshiba and they sat on more than a year, to say that no, they can't fix it.

  I did write to Toshiba well no reply until now. I also thought to extend the warranty. 3 years for 48 pounds, but the description says - valid for 3 years from the date of purchase of your Toshiba product - so it lasts only until April next year? If I buy it will be they solve this problem for me free of charge? I've already spent a lot on it.

  In which country did you buy your Tablet? Sorry to ask this, but I put t understand this with the Hungary.

  I mean the best option is to contact the Toshiba service provider in the country of purchase and try to clarify any technical problems and pick up all the information on the guarantee it.

  Command-bar spacing & Option + command + SPACEBAR doesn't work when the hand tool is active... It is used to do at any time. Does anyone else have this problem? I saw people having this issue up to 2011, but none of the "fixes" have worked for me.

  I just transferred everything from my old macbook pro (where it worked fine) to a 27 "new iMac. I use a (NON-BLUETOOTH keyboard and razor WIRED mouse) which is what I used with the macbook pro. I have also uninstalled/installed PSCC and IllustratorCC. BTW, it does not work in Illustrator.

  OK, I fixed it. The iMac wasn't properly grateful for my keyboard... I guess that was the origin of the problem. Use a Bluetooth keyboard and trashed the old bluetooth profile and paired with the imac again and everything is good. Thanks to all of you for help.

  My rptv died just the red light is on, but when I press the remote power button normally it is a small whoos sound & light screen sources up

  I tried a new remote control, pressing the local buttons, but nothing.
  I know that it is pretty old but I got it again & it has had very little use because it is located in a room that is rarely used.

  I took off the coast but I'm at a loss of what to do next, any help would be greatly appericated I'm an electrician by profession so have meters etc but do not know where to test.

  To be honest mate, if the TV is dead and cannot be turned on, then you must buy a new TV.
  If the warranty is not valid, this isn't a value for repaired do since new parts cost more than a new TV

• Qosmio G40: Toshiba Assist, StartLiveTV, Dolby (other?) no longer works

  After installing Win7 Ultimate, including the latest drivers downloaded on the Toshiba site, the following applications no longer work:

  (1) Toshiba Assist
  Application (TInTouch.exe) loads but ends up with a white screen.

  (2) TV connected to the TV button
  The StartLiveTV.exe application is loaded, it appears in the Task Manager, but closes automatically does nothing. Under Vista, it launched Windows Media Center.

  (3) Dolby button linked to Dolby
  This should start C:\Program Files\Dolby\Dolby control Center\DolbyVistaConfig.exe but the app has disappeared and I can't find a replacement on the Toshiba site. (Most recent Sounddrivers are installed but Dolby application is missing)

  Any thoughts on the 3 themes?

  Have you installed the Toshiba value added Package?

  You have the latest version of the BIOS installed G40? (Last is v2.20 I think)
