• InDesign cs5 and photoshop cs5 preferences installed as one.

  I have Indesign cs5 and adobe photoshop cs5 extended installed in my copmputer. I see these two programs as the most important applications installed in my computer. I'm just wondering that perhaps some of the Indesign cs5 and photoshop cs5 preferences are the same. I think that these files are the reason why both applications are very large.

  For example the Adobe Bridge cs5, I think that Adobe Bridge is installed twice in my computer. One and the installation of Indesign from Photoshop.

  I just want to know if there is a way to install both applications have their preferences, installed once and both applications could use them. I think only in this way that I can put a free space in my hard drive. Any help would be appreciated.

  You can not save space on your hard drive by combining portions of these programs don't.

  Their "preferences" occupy a very small fraction of the space used by these programs.

I can see the disk image files in the AAMUpdater folder, but they will not open and come up with message ' could not be opened - busy resource.

  Another thing that makes everything work ultimately (after I finally properly installed all Apps CC etc - I couldn't get the Apps to save my preferences for each of them and Indesign would not open yet).

  Make yourself as a user in the users and groups on "Admin", is added and with privileges "read and write" and "Apply to the clos etc.", when you 'get Info' on the hard drive if you can access/modify all the files and folders on the hard drive.

  The only update has been completed has been 'Scout CC', I don't even need but I tested it because I thought that it was not this heacy.

  I try to use the generator in Folio in InDesign CS6 but it says when I access the Panel updates are necessary. • Break of shortcuts in indesign, illustrator and photoshop (XP)

  It is a really strange problem. I don't know what it could be.

  This happens in Indesign, photoshop and illustrator. It could (and probably do) occur in other programs too, but I have not tried.

  Whenever I have alt + Maj + do drag to duplicate an object, breaking all my shortcuts. My keyboard gets all the jumpled. 'b' could be replaced by "m". My 'a' could be replaced by a "q". If I hit ctrl + z to undo, it asks if I want to save before closing. Everything is all messed up and the only way to fix it is to restart the software. This does not happen if I do alt + drag. ONLY when I hold SHIFT while I do it. This occurs during any other key command (that I know) dealing with "shift". Only with ALT.

  I tried to remove my preferences. I tried to reinstall the software. I am puzzled and frustrated.

  Someone at - it ideas?

  Looks like you have enabled on the system of multiple languages, and Alt + SHIFT shortcut Windows to switch between them.

  Libraries are the same? The two RGB colors are different and they have different look on the screen.

  None of this has to do if you are not working with color management and conversion of spot color to a CMYK process color, which seems to be the case here...

• InDesign CS4 do not place a word document

  I just had to InDesign CS4 installed on my computer at work. The installation went perfectly, and I was able to open InDesign files with no problems at all. But when I tried to put a word document in one of these formats:

  1. 2010 (.doc, .docx, .rtf, .txt)
  2. same formats of 2007

  He gave me the following error message:

  either the file does not exist, you may not, or the file may be in use by another application

  I went into the system to see if all this relates to this specific word file is open - nothing. I made sure there is no open files office.

  In general this error appears when the file is opened. Perhaps the temporary Word file has not deleted properly when closing.

  Then I lost the phone. I have a police report if you do not want to see it.

  Now, I am back my old Mac with os x 10.5.8 thereon. I have a record of 10.6 snow leopard on the way.

  I would like to be able to download older versions of Photoshop and Indesign.

  Even if they are tests of 30 days, they would be useful, I have a project I'm working on I would like to end.

  Hi all

  I recently installed the Fusion 3 and now I'm having a problem with my Creative Suite of evil. InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (although less often the latter) gel - not just after a sleep etc, but until every 5 or 10 minutes. I'm going absolutely CRAZY and I am becoming extremely frustrated. I googled the question and have read in many forums that Extensis and the last update of Fusion 3 is the source of the problem. At this point I'm forcing quitting and reopening of documents regularly. The interruption of my calendar and deadlines creates intense stress. I installed 3 merger last week, but it is only since yesterday that frost became apparent and immediately unbearable.

  Does anyone have advice? I can't go on like this. If I dump Fusion 3 and unistall, my problems will disappear? Of course, I won't be able to manage my fonts very well, but I couldn't care if you consider the alternative. Can anyone recommend an alternative font management program which does not send the Adobe programs in a complete collapse?

  Turn off auto-activation in suitcase fusion.

  To disable automatic activation, go to Suitcase Fusion > preferences and disable "Scoped them fonts" option on the Activation of the Preferences dialog box tab

  and remove this plugin;-

  Hello, I need to use an older version of InDesign to work with one of my clients. I have the physical box of CS4, but I can't use this installer because it is on DVD and I just got a new iMac without a hard drive. So I downloaded of Abobe, InDesign CS4 Setup, but when I try to validate my code it does not work. My physical box of CS4 is a Design Premium UPGRADE version, but the InDesign Installer is not validate my old number CS3 either. I tried phone support, no use: no support for these former products supplied (shame). Since I regularly bought all my CS versions from a dealer here in Italy it's extremely embarrassing, and I lose a precious time for this instead of working on a project. Can anyone here help with this please? Thank you.

  The product you are trying to install/activate must be the same product for which the serial number has been assigned originally.  If the serial number is a suite then you must install using the suite.  Each product can be installed outside the suite.
