  Hello.

  I have a menu made starting from a horizontal scroll publication in my mobile site's master page.

  Here it is inactive on the left and Active in the right (in gray)

  

  The problem is this: when it is idle (as shown below) I can't click on anything whatsoever "below.

  So, for example, here is the page of Services with the main menu at the top right. Even if the menu is not active I can not click on the link text "Learn more" below.

  Unfortunately using this specific widget will not work. The reason is that, even if you don't see the background of the "Closed" box, it is always there, that's why you can't score anything below.

  You must use the panels/accordion Widget, because this will push the image down or overlay on top of the background.

  It looks like the upper part may be in a State reduced - the line was pulled up.

  Just of the cursor on the line that separates the upper and lower sections, and drag it to the bottom.

• How to fill my date fields placed on the Master Page to several pages?

  I have a dynamic form with fields flowing. I inserted date fields using the tab of Master Pages in Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2, Windows 7 operating system. I have only 1 Master Page. Everything on the form works fine, except when I have several pages, date fields are empty on all except the first page. One of the date fields in the event javascript has exit to calculate the second field. I can manually change the fields of date subsequent page (s), but I don't want the end user to have to do. I want that date fields on the new pages to match the date fields in the first pages. Here's my output with notes to provide a visualization of what I'm looking for.

  You set the binding of the two fields date to the ' global mandatory?

  Important each of these fields need to own a meaningful name, for example "date_UserEntry" and "date_Calculate".

• InDesign encounter error when locking of objects on the master page

  I have CS5 and love it. But after the moving objects on my master page between the layers (don't ask me why, just thought it might be a good idea) I can't lock without blocking InDesign objects (Ctrl-L). He meets a mistake and locks upward. I use the Task Manager to shut down and start over. You are not allowed to move objects on the master page between the layers? Do I need my mouse slapped?

  What is the error?

  Why do you need to lock the object? It should be locked on normal pages? I was wondering.

  What is the last layer that is on, changes all pages to match. "Detach" I found online as a way to select an element on the page to change, does not appear anywhere.

  That is right. Layer settings are wide document.

  But it seems to me that you try to use master pages, almost like live pages. The only thing that should be on them are things that will always be there.

• Align the tool path Rectangle frame on the master page

  I have the Master Page I place a rectangular frame tool.

  Then I copy and paste in a path logo.

  This right click > editing > Center.

  It would be the finished master.

  Then select a new page apply the master.

  I want then to scale/resize the rectangular frame, so using the selection tool, press Command SHIFT in, I click on the frame and the scale. Path Logo then is not automatically aligned to the center of this area.

  Is this possible?

  If I want to Center a logo on a page or somewhere else, I'm going a different path.

  1. Draw a text frame
  2. Place the logo (I use PDF/X-4 files or HAVE) on the page
  3. I drag the widget for reinforcement anchored in the text block.
  4. I apply a style object for the logo.
  5. In the object style I have configured the parameters of anchored frame that allows me to global, readjust the position of the logo by the evolution of the style object (or application of a different object style).

  I don't know how you would do this with scripts, but usually, I had simply use a pair of variables in the header running with for the paragraph style, a game on the first page, the other game to last.

  I noticed that when I updated some CS to CS6 files, Indesign has started to crash very often. It happens when I try to move some executives.

  I came to the conclusion that CS6 is losing the information on some mounts locked to the master pages during the update of the CS6 file. Looks like the images are always blocked even if I do not see that. This means that I can't do something with this chassis locked in secret, because each time Indesign crash.

• Cannot change the text in the Master Page

  I don't often work in InDesign.  I had created a template file for a book back in December 2011 (initially created in CS3).  I opened this file in CS6 today and did save as.  Now it's time to change a few things to customize for this new book.  So, I went into the Master Pages to tweak things.  But, I can't edit any text.  I can click on some pictures (not all), but no text is selectable or editable.  What in the world happened to my account?

  I have also returned for the final files for the book that I did in December (not the template file, the files of actual work).  Those who give me the same behavior.  Text that should be editable is not selectable.  Once again, some photos can be selected and moved, etc. but no text/text box.

  Is there a conversion that takes place opens a CS3 file to the CS6 which causes this?  How should I do?

  You can always open the objects individually using either the layers panel (which is been updated, too), or by clicking on the lock icon on the object itself (near the upper left corner).

  That said, you'll be happier if you cahng Evos preferences to allow selection of locked objects. This essentially restores the beahvior you are used to see - post is locked, but you can still select and put the content in a frame.

• Clear fields on the master page when fluid table goes to the second page

  Good then this is quite annoying, because I have no idea why this is happening.  In my form, I have 5 text fields that users are required to conclude the data personal (name, address, city, State and zip).  These 5 areas are on the master page 1.  I also have a master page 2, which was designed strictly for the flow on the text for a table of expenditure.  The expenditure table drains properly and I have no problems with the calculations but I noticed today that when the expenditure table throw on the second page, the data that the user entered in the 5 text fields clear when the table runs.

  Is this something I need to write code that said once the user leaves the field lock.  This does not seem as if it were necessary, given that many users who also make the fluid fields.

  I'm stumped, any help would be great.

  Make sure that the binding for the five fields on the Master Page are set to Global (see object > range of liaison, when objects are selected).

  Sorry, I know that this was not clear.

  When a page switch sides in the spread of the elements of the template that have been overridden, as blocks of text in which the text has been flowed, will be maintained, but the new position of the page also has main objects and these masters objects will all be there.
