• Photoshop CS5.1 64 bit crash, usually after using the text tool.

  I tried to update and roll back my graphics driver, I checked my swap file (because my SSD uses Samsung magician, and I found a few posts a few years ago which suggested that might be the problem), but I can't understand this.

  Other Production Premium CS5.5 programs seem to work perfectly, and only Photoshop is having issues.  I tried to reinstall (in which case a vital file has been damaged or missing).  Photoshop displays all errors of himself, he just died.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  CS4 crashes when you use the text tool

  It's something that would drastically improve the speed of my workflow. When I click inside a composition using the text tool, the text layer is always positioned at the beginning of the composition.

  Is it possible to make the text layer from the current-time indicator, so don't constantly do defiler to the beginning of the composition and drag the text layer forward in the desired position?

  There is a preference: create layers at Composition Start Time.

  Why the text entered using the text tool seems pale? The color is not a clear black, as in Microsoft Word or any other processor.

  You should NEVER use the 'Registration' color for what what is content in InDesign. No text, no box. Black Black Dungeon. If you create print then work in CMYK and use the [Black] in square brackets because it will be default overprint.

  That InDesign is less strong, I never have heart or seen, but how to crisp your policy comes, depends on your settings personal screen in Acrobat. Most never will send you an INDD open to your client or printer, but always a PDF exported, how it looks in InDesign to format PDF is not important. And you should avoid the use of transparency above the text, because this could rasterize text (and also of the vectors) which will not look so crisp as if the text (and vectors) may be vectors for the output.

  I worked on my first rare documents, (postcards on 1 simple page), but when I come back to add some more text using the text tool it does not create the usual type frame/box and the cursor will just directly on the upper left side of the document? I don't know that I have to do something wrong.

  You probably have a rectangle as the background on your page? When you click anywhere on the rectangle with the text tool, it converts your bulk text rectangle and the insertion point jumps to the upper left corner of the frame.

  It s a little annoying, but you can get rid of this feature of preferences, in the Type tab, there is a text check function tool converts frames for blocks of text (or something like that) just uncheck it... To change these rectangles accidentally converted to frames grapgic (select the rectangle and choose object > Content > graphic)

  If Don t you want to stop using this feature, you can also draw your block of text off the page, you type text and it moves the right position

  On a Mac, while the cursor is in a text box, you will need to hit: Shift + Option + command + SPACEBAR.

Also, the entire workspace is greater and the tools of icons so that they does not fit in the screen... Any body can help?

  If your running windows make sure you have the latest device driver for your graphics card installed.  All entries must be selected and be on a black background, but you should be able to see is that the text.

  Hi people, working on a poster in Illustrator. Added the type of area, using the text tool. Now I would like to increase the size of a single line. I can't select or change any type with the text tool. I have moved into a new layer, registered, closed type Illustrator, restarted my Mac (OS X 10.7.4).) Looked in preferences, in which case there is a problem. No luck.

  Furthermore, I don't see two handles when selecting the tool more. Don't know if that is related.

• PSE would freeze everytime I use the Brush tool!

  Hello guys, my name is Abdulrahman and this is the first time that I post so please, take it on me. I used photoshop elements and Premier 12 for about a year now and everything is working fine. I have not actually used PSE for a long time (probably since April) and I opened it 3 days trying to use the Brush tool, but it would freeze. The cursor would remain the brush icon anywhere, I point it would not click on anything, I have to quite force the request, as it is said '(application not responding)"beside him. I searched for help online, I've updated PES as well as my operating system (I'm working on a Mac for that matter), I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app and I also tried to recreate the preferences file, but nothing has worked. All other tools works very well, it's probably just the Brush tool with there problems to work.

  It works very well for most people, but only with a mouse. If you want to use a trackpad, you must either upgrade to 13 PSE or downgrade or less 10 of PSE.

• Fireworks crashes / hangs when you use the text tool

  First, I noticed the change to text box. Then Fireworks CS4 would freeze during one of the following:

  • Resize grouped text

  • Moving text box

  • Click on the text box to edit with the text tool

  • Double-click the text box to change the pointer tool

  So I started a new file, but met with the same result. Thus, Fireworks CS4 is currently useless if the text is necessary. I can create vector objects, but simply by clicking on the canvas (or by clicking on the fonts menu) with the tool Fireworks CS4 text instantly gel. I had similar problems with Fireworks CS3 edition, but if I started a new file, I was at least able to reuse the text tool and type. Now, I can't even recreate the file. I have to give up Fireworks and using a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator before my schedule gets even further behind.

  I am at a total loss.

  I did the Adobe Troubleshooting thing. Don't corrupt fonts but I have more than 5000.

  Have you reset the text tool first.

  Select the text tool and set it to top left
