  Hey Kevin,

  You can uninstall InDesign and you can check non installed in the Applications folder if a file for Adobe InDesign CC still exists. If so delete this folder manually and remove the trash.

  Install CC InDesign again. Do it from your administrator account.

We have provided details of account we have applied to the role of Application (as approved). Is there anything else we should be aware to allow data to pass through?

  I'm new to InDesign, but I did a course accelerated and also does research in Google on poor quality images in InDesign.  I am having trouble with the quality of the images.

  I'm working on a magazine.  I started with the addition of advertising, first of all, some of the pictures I get from the internet and when I save them and import them into photoshop the quality is excellent.

  Then I save as a PSD file and export for the web saved in JPEG, the highest quality.

  I have sizes in Photoshop and InDesign, predefined

  I have the images in InDesign display quality.  Or, what I have to do before I import the photo?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Low resolution preview is the deafult, but you can change that in your preferences. I don't see anything in what you are doing that should cause a problem unless you're enlaging images in InDesign.

  I don't do things online, just print, so I do tend to work with images low resolution at all, but I guess it is possible that the quality is better, if you start with a high resolution image and make the downsampling on the conversion. Someone who regularly does this type of export would be a better resource. There are a number of threads, but on the quality problems with .swf exported if you look around.

  OK, I think this is resolved. Looks like it is a problem of cache or something like that because we had to reinstall the software, restart the iPad and restore purchases with a new test user to see the Retail folio. Now, its ok, so I hope that new users see detail too. Thanks in any case.

  You can publish the first folio when you want to. It will not appear until your application is approved.

  When you create a multi-folio application, the application itself is just a container. It does not include the folios. Instead, the library looks at the level of the Adobe server for leaflets published by using the ID of title specified in the Viewer. For a subscription application, you need to create in-app purchases for each sheet of the retail and in-app purchase product ID for each subscription period. You offer in-app purchases to Apple.   Have you tried to use DPS App Builder to create an application? Have you used Apple's developer site?

  I encountered a very strange error with InDesign CC after you save a file created in CS4. I would like to attach the file but I don't know how to do this, if I can. The file is 44 KB and doesn't seem like it should be (file I saved was a great book cover). Now, as the original CS4 file has been replaced using InDesign CC, the file is corrupted and I get the error message shown below. The file is not open in another application. If somebody has got this before?

  I developed a magazine app using the subscription of DPS of companies.

  Our app is a subscription model, so I need to specify secret information shared with our Adobe account to activate the subscription to work within the Viewer application.

  When I go to the dashboard administrator account (logged in as main account), the main account ID does not appear. I can add the other Adobe ID to the dashboard, but I can't see (and configure) the master account.

  Help would be very appreciated.

  I can't work on any model that... I have a number (75, to be precise) of references in a single InDesign file to other locations within the same file. In InDesign, all work well - I can go from destination to source and vice versa.

  When I export to PDF, about 20% of them (I did not, I'm afraid) jump me to a particular page... page 58 of the 61-page document. They should not. There two correct links to this destination, the rest should go to various other pages. All cross references are using heading styles. I have not used all the bookmarks (if I remember correctly - work has been done some time ago, but has only raised the issue).

  In some cases, there are destinations in the PDF files to the appropriate pages, so I'm fixing this way links. They cannot be the original destinations, because I have more than one destination per page in some cases. In other cases, there is no destination for the page required... they have not been exported, so I'll have to create destinations in the PDF file as well. I noticed that a lot of destinations end with "Anchor xx" (where xx is a number), others are a 5 digit number what is the difference?

  It has been a pain fix these, but will be even worse when the document is updated in a few months... I don't want to have to manually re-create each hyperlink each time. I also wanted to use InDesign for another project, but the files would be updated on a regular basis in this case and if there is a known bug, it would not be an acceptable load.

  Any suggestions? Oh - the graphics are almost all related, and most are anchored frames... don't know if this has an impact, but I noticed when picking topics cross reference that some were (chart) after the title of the topic.

  Have you tried recording to the IDML format then regenerate a PDF file of the document cleaned? Any change?

• Publish button doesn't work is not in the DPS

  I am the "owner" of a folio (Designer), and my boss is an 'administrator' (by sharing on Acrobat.com). He bought the single license of the edition and I need to publish our folio through his account, but when I try, the "Publish" button does not work.

  Is it because he is not the owner? Is there a work around?

  You can only publish folio through your account. Your boss can create new folio in his account and add these items to the folio that are shared. Then publish it.

• InDesign (CS2), do not open the files PageMaker 7 (PC)

  On our PC at work, InDesign will not open the PageMaker files. I get an error that it is not a correct file type. Research on the labour issue, I read that Service Pack 3 can cause problems and you should go back to Service Pack 2. Is this really necessary? Was this a common problem?

• DPS App Builder not only launch of DPS dashboard

  I connect in the DPS dashboard and click the DPS App Builder - my computer says it did not on my system, and I have to download. However, I can go to the applications folder and launch the App from the DPS generator very well and connect and everything works. Somewhere there is no link between the dashboard and the App Builder

  DPS App builder reinstalling may solve the problem. For this, uninstall DPS App Builder by moving it to the trash, and then download the last DPS APP Builder of DPS Dashboard, install it.
