InDesign tables line keep next page

How to apply the 'keep' options to keep the rows in the table via the java script?

First line of each page to start with the next page.

Hmm.
the usual way to check if a suite is the first one on the page is something like:

If (rows [i] .cells [0] .insertionPoints [0] .parentTextFrames [0] .parentPage! = rows [i - 1] .cells [0] .insertionPoints [0] .parentTextFrames [0] .parentPage) {}

1st rank, do something

  • Text InDesign table problem

    I hope someone can help me!

    I have a table where each row contains a lot of text.  Normally, I can continue my table on the next page, and overflow the text in the row of the table on the next page. However, for some reason, rather than texting break and continue on the next page, all of the text itself removes completely and all of the text line is placed on the next page (leave blank splits on the previous page).  I don't know why it behaves in this way.  How can I get my text of table row to reach the bottom of the page and the overflow on the next page?

    I use CS5.5

    InDesign table cells don't break across pages, as they do in Word. It's all or nothing.

  • Book formatting: last line of text will move to the next page

    Hi, I hope someone can help me with this. I put in the form of a book in InDesign. I lined up my text to a grid, and that works very well. What does not work, it is the last line on the pages of random left moves to the top of the next page, leaving an empty line at the bottom. Here is a diagram which is supposed to represent the facing pages. As you can see, there is a gap in the lower left page. Help!

    Text begins here

    here goes

    and here

    and here

    and here

    move here

    and here

    and here

    and here

    and here

    and here.

    My guess is that you have an Option to keep to keep the last line with the following in paragraph that moves, or stay with the previous paragraph after.

  • How can I keep STROKE does not spread on the next page?

    My InDesign document has a few features that are on a 45 degree angle and I'm trying to keep them does not spread on the next page. I can't send them to the back which will not work in this case. Is it possible to prevent them from showing on pages all about? Thank you!

    Why not just remove the offending part of the path? Move the curvilinear straight ends or use the scissors tool to cut what you don't need.

    Anyone know how to export a PDF from InDesign is "click to go to the next page" instead of "scroll to go to the next page?

    I do not use the InDesign last, but in the past ID options for export to the format PDF did not define how a PDF should be considered once exported.  However, these settings can be adjusted in Acrobat via preferences: departure of layout and Zoom in the view of the Page.

  • Tables to jump to the next page

    I'm trying to convert a Word Document to PDF format.  This document has 2 pages, and there is a table on each page.  When I convert them to PDF format, the table on the two page appears at the bottom of page 1.

    PDF issue_Page_1.jpg

    This line at the bottom is the top of the table that should be on page 2.

    How can I get Acrobat to format this correctly?

    Thank you.

    Open WORD and go to the selection of printing. Select the Adobe PDF printer. Now edit your word file. In word you should always go to a new page with a new page command (ctrl-enter) if necessary. WORD redéroule the document whenever you select a new printer to match the printer. So to be sure, that it is compatible with the PDF format, you must select the Adobe PDF printer before editing it.

  • Detect if a table has sunk on the next page

    Hello

    I am trying to write a script that can detect when a table spans two pages, or it begins on page 2 and continues flowing into page 3.
    If so, I need to change the cell styles to the first line on page 3. I'm puzzled. I tried iterate through each cell in the table to see what
    page it is on, but it does not work, because I am not a property of a cell who could give me this info. If I meet the parents of the cell, it gives me
    the table that it is on the page, even though I have a cell that is actually 2 page 3 query. Far determine this is? I use CS4.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you
    Dan

    You can compare .insertionPoints cells [0] [0] .endBaseline line by line, for example:

    var oTable = app.selection[0].parent.parent
      , oRows = oTable.rows
      , i = 0
      , len = oRows.length;
    for (; i < len; i++){
       if (oRows[i].cells[0].insertionPoints[0].endBaseline < oRows[i-1].cells[0].insertionPoints[0].endBaseline
          && oRows[i-1].rowSpan < 2){
          oRows[i].appliedCellStyle = "your CellStyle";
       }
    }

  • M3035: LaserJet M3035 Intermittent black lines on any Page, no question of Scanner Laser

    Currently of problems with two of these Multifunction products.

    Machine 1 # started a week ago and a half, intermittent lines that seem to be a problem of HVPS, (power supply high voltage).  Two lines on the page between the longitudinal edges, lines appear blurry.

    There are three printers M3035 in this room, machine #2 is mainly used for file scanning and until about 2 weeks ago was not used for printing.

    When #1 didn't #2 toner cartridge was traded in #1, (and #1 cartridge # 2), number one has always had the same problem so I ordered a HVPS.

    The next day, I was out and another Tech looked #1 and decided that it needed a transfer roller and also decided to Exchange #1 to #3, given that the person using #1 was printing which were to be made where they are not accessible to everyone.

    A few pages of test were performed on #3 and they looked good, so no. 3 has been moved into the Office next to #1.

    When #3 was turned on and tested, it was printed lines across the page!

    Since #3 is running on the power of the cable #1 cable has been replaced with a new cable.  The output has been verified for correct wiring, (tester used wiring available at Home Depot, etc.) and I took out my meter and the good test line and remained strong throughout testing printing.

    An extension has been completed past another outlet to verify that the problem was not gout and #3 failed again.

    #1 has been moved to the office #3 has and has been tested, he had problems, but they were slightly different, there was a grey shading across the entire page, because it was new I swapped the toner with #2 (this replace the original toner # 1) and #1 worked well, but was so #2.

    At this point, it was late on a Friday so that the print was made in another room and the problem put off until Monday.

    (will continue in another post)

    This printer has the same engine as the P3005 and there is a question that has been pretty common on this printer and it's the block of ground on the left side.  There is a mech that when you open the toner door separates a spring load piece since the acutal post that goes against the drum unit on this side of the Earth.  When you install the toner and close the door mechs two-piece flat against them and provide the grounding.  You will see I think that red ground wire that attaches from the bottom.  Most of the time the solution is very easy.  I just take a big piece of cardboard and paste it between the 2 black pieces of the MAN.  It remains in place because of the spring mech that keeps the two pieces together.  Once done, who takes care of the issue.  The lines that you get at least in my experience are caused by a lack of firm ground.  If you can recreate the lines still just have side trim left and just press the black mech and make a test and I do not know that the lines will be gone.  I repaired probably at least a couple of dozen of those printers who had this problem using the same procedure.  You can see the other two printers as it is a very common problem.  According to me, that the parties are called upon to lever earthing contact.  Chances are that supply high voltage was good.

  • The previous/next Page number is showing that the current page number

    I'm trying pages numbers with previous Page number and the current Page number, then it is and shows that reason 002-003, but for some they are both appearing as the number of courses, so 003-003. The same thing happens if I try to insert the next Page number.

    I have this set up in the master page in a document issued in March and it works great - when I add new pages they are automatically numbered correctly. However, in a new document, or if I add a new text box to my old document, the Page number previous shows that the current Page number.

    Any idea of what is the cause? I use the latest InDesign on a Mac with os x 10.11.12. My colleague is having the same problem on his Windows PC.

    I am waiting to start a conversation with Technical Support, so I'll post the results.

    Hey Willi

    Thanks for your reply, we are both halfway there, it isn't fair for the lines break...

    I just checked my old document and there was a block of empty text hidden under something else on the previous page, which is linked to the image on the next page that holds page numbers. I need to insert a Page break at the beginning of the first text box to force the numbers on the following page. Now my second text box displays the previous and current page numbers.

    Problem solved!

  • Inserting record in the database and then display on the next Page

    Hello!

    For a while since I posted here, but I've been pulling my hair out on this one.  Here's what I want to do.  I have a page that I want to be able to enter text in two form fields, then click on "Insert disc", and then on the next page, I just submit display.  For example, on the "insert.php" page I want to enter the field ID and Joe 43569 in the first name field.  Then after I click on submit (or insert record) the next page will have a text that says: "congratulations Joe, your ID is 43569.»  Have a great day! "Or something to that effect.

    I have the database mySQL, set up and insert records into it since this page works correctly.  Here is the code of my insert.php page which I think is the issue.   I'm just confused as to which should be added to the page detail.php to have this sentence appears correctly.  Is there something that should be added to the code on the page insert.php?  Something after the detail.php on that first line?

    Thank you, thank you, thank you in advance.

    When you submit the form, the form fields values are passed to the query insert as variables of $_POST, but as soon as you redirect the user to another page, these variables are destroyed.

    There are two ways to preserve the values: use sessions and session variables, or add values to the end of the redirect URL query string. Using the variables of session is probably easier since you can do it at the top of the page that inserts data into the database without affecting the code of Dreamweaver Server behavior.

    Put this at the top of the current page:

    In details.php, add top of the page. You can then use $_SESSION ['ID'] and $_SESSION ['name'] to display the values.

  • He had to go second record on the next page

    Hello

    I develop a report and this report has two groups. Header group and the Group of lines,

    Group of lines repeated lines.the problem is that each line is considered to be a material the table first and for example, the second raw takes 8 lines that do not fit on the first page.

    what I have to do is to calculate the number of lines in the page and the number of lines so that raw and if the number of lines of position gross + current of the first line in this higher than total gross lines per page can move entire flood to the next page.

    at the bottom if the details of a line from a point of overflow on the next page, rather leave the details on the new page

    Thank you
    Ramez

    You must select the repeating line, click with the right button-> the properties of the Table-> uncheck "allow splitting of lines on several pages.

  • Can I print each table on a new page?

    When you use numbers, I often have several tables in a given sheet. Like this:

    When I print the worksheet, this often causes tables to be spread over several pages. Like this:

    It is very painful position each table in the exact spot so it will show on the next page, like this:

    Is there a setting somewhere in the sense of ' print each table on a new page.

    If not, is there another book autour which does not imply boredom of lowering it the exact amount of each table so it will show on the next page?

    Thank you!

    A work-around may be copy and paste each table into Pages where you CAN insert page breaks. (You may need to force the paintings to stay up-to-date).
