InDesign to SWF format

I was wondering if you could turn an InDesign document to PDF while

maintaining capabilities of page Turner?  When I turn the document into a SWF, it diminishes the quality.  Very small character becomes pixelated.

  • How to use DPS as Folio overlays when you export to SWF format?

I create an interactive magazine in InDesign, it is decided that the magazine is exported to SWF format and downloaded on the website of our company for viewing by the public. I want things like blocks of text scrolling and slideshows. I knew InDesign had an update to include DPS features such as overlays in Folio, so I applied a superposition of slideshow and a floating frame, but none of them is not working after that I exported to SWF format. I always want to have slideshows and scrolling frames how can I have them again when you export to SWF format?

Features DPS are only for DPS. SWF is about as dead as dead can be at this point.

If you want to use some of these types of features on the web, I suggest to look in in5 by ajar Productions. http://ajarproductions.com/pages/products/IN5/?ref=footer

  • Export to SWF format, keeping the same page formats

    Hello

I have a document InDesign, CS5, with different pages. They are all double spreads of A4 except for two pages. One is A4 portrait on its own and landscape.

When I export to swf format, these pages turn into double page spreads, which means that I end up having what looks like a blank page next to my single page.

Is it possible to keep different page sizes when exporting to SWF format?

    Thanks in advance,

    ZoeByDesign

Not West not. InDesign exports your SWF using the size of the largest spreading in your document. Small gaps or pages will be exported to that as well size, filled with extra white space...

I suggest you change the size of these unique pages on the size of the other "spreads" (portrait A4 > A3 landscape) and fill the empty space you want in InDesign rather than let the SWF exporter to use white color. If you want it to look like it s single page, fill empty space with the same color, you as the background for your html-wrapper file.

Check this sample (cover page is actually a gap, but the left side is full of gray that was used as the background):

  • Problem with export to swf format...

So, I've been putting togeather a book to SWF format.  I created several SWF files on the way to test it, make sure it is working properly. Pages have always appeared in the window next door... for example, the title page is the only one, but then the 1-2 page are togeather in the window, page 3-4 are togeather... ext. All of a sudden and no apparent change that I made that I'm aware, it now exports documents to only show only one page at a time.  I have InDesign CS5.  I need to know how to repair the spread so that the pages are side by side. I checked in the layout, and you click the option side by side.  In earlier versions of InDesign, there was a setting of 'spread' which you could do when exporting, but CS5 does not have this option.  What I did for the taking of this, and how to fix it?  I hope that one of you has ideas.

Update: I realized that even the preview in InDesign is a single page, rather than face pages, so... there is certainly a setting that has been changed.  Under the pages tab, it always shows the layouts in the form of two pages, and facing pages is enabled in the settings of document, this WHO I MISS so much?

Have you checked the settings menu in the pages Panel? I don't remember setting it how disable spreads, but check it out anyway. Usually for export spreads there is a checkbox in the export options when you save the file. It can also be a matter of preference, the preferences file may be corrupt. (guessing)

  • I converted a WMV to SWF format and I can't hear the sound in Internet Explorer 8, he plays very well in other software.

I converted a WMV to SWF format, but I do not see the video. I hear no audio in INTERNET EXPLORER 8. The audio works fine in other software.

    Hello

    (1) you are streaming the videos on Windows Media Player online or just play them online?

    (2) have you installed and updated plugins like Adobe?

I suggest that you try the methods below to resolve this issue.

Check whether the sound is enabled in Internet Explorer:

    a. open Internet Explorer.

    i. click on tools and then click Internet Options.

    (b) switch to the "Advanced" tab

    c. scroll down to the 'Multimédia' heading

    d. make sure that "Play sounds in web pages" is checked. Click on 'ok '. Restart Internet Explorer.

  • Captivate 9 - Player in the FastForward menu - ToolTips don't work when publishing to SWF format

We have recently upgraded to 9 Captivate. We had a problem with the publication of our material to the SWF format.

Fast Forward Player menu option [> >] ToolTips not getting picked up and displays only the ToolTip for the State of the default button (2 x Fast Forward speed).

The actual game speed does not change, so the problem is with the ToolTips.

When we publish our material to the HTML5 format, the ToolTips are working properly; as provided for in the playbarScript.js file:

    "FastForward: ' 2 x speed fast forward."

    "FastForward1: ' 4 x speed fast forward."

    FastForward2: 'normal speed. "

We looked at the flash files used to create the PlayBar (c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 9 x64\Templates\PlaybackFLA\AS3\..), and these tooltips seem to be good here.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

    Thank you very much.

Even if it is not explicitly mentioned in the release notes, we confirm that this has been fixed in version 9.0.2.437.

  • Cannot export to the SWF format

    Hello world

I'm trying to export in AE video to SWF format.  According to the media, I should be able to go to file/export/Adobe Flash Player.  However I do not get this option, only the following:

    -Media encoding

-Treatment of queue (not sure how is the English translation. In Spanish "fair cola")

    -Cinema 4 d

    -Adobe first.

Can someone tell me why?  How can I proceed?

    Thank you all. Kind regards

Export SWF was removed after effects CC 2014 (13.0). If you want to export a SWF from After Effects, you can use after effects CC (12.2.1) or earlier to do it, but keep in mind that the reason that we removed this feature is because it wasn't useful. You should create SWF files in Flash Professional, and not in After Effects. If you want to read a movie you made in After Effects to Flash Player, then create the film in the format .mp4 with Adobe Media Encoder.

When I publish to swf format, my 2 event videos show the shell of the PlayBar and a loading bar in the upper left corner, but nothing will happen. I have set the overall security for the folder containing my published Swf project, have also made sure that videos mp4 have been posted to the folder.

Had to have IT add the extension .mp4 on the server. Everything humming along great.  Thanks for the help guys, looks like the missing on the server .mp4 extension was the problem all the time!

  • Animation of the same bitmaps differently affect final SWF format?

OK, I have a flash animation in CS3 too heavy with bitmap graphics. It's a jungle scene and simulate camera panoramic throughout the scene. Once at home, I published the movie to SWF format. We'll call this version #1 my film and he comes in as SWF 3 MB .

Now I'm back and saved as version #2 and made major adjustments to the way the camera pans with round the scene and again published the SWF file. Note that I did not import new asset to the library. Now the published SWF file is to 4.8 MB...

Of course, I wondered why all of a sudden that my SWF has increased by more than 1.5 MB. Yes, I combed through my property to make sure that something has not added (so bloating my film). Nothing new just the fact that I'm moving things around the screen differently.

So my question to you all is the following: is it possible that the final size of my sudden SWF somehow how I'm moving bitmaps around the screen?

Although it sounds silly, I'm becoming convinced that this may be the case. Please tell me I'm wrong.

    Concerning

As I said before, it keeps track of any changes that you make, so you can cancel... When you save, close, those be saved as file size, even if you can't access it when you reopen... When a project is completed, I always copy images and paste to a new, final, doc and always save a few hundred kb. You can reduce this by lowering the amount of permit cancellations, but be more careful in the change from day to day. You are welcome.

  • How can I convert html5 animated swf format

I made a banner with animated html5 and now I need to save it in a swf. Is it possible to convert it?

    Thank you

Go to the commands menu, then choose convert other Formats documents. Here you can convert an AS3 in Florida. It will be saved with a different name, it does not overwrite your HTML5 Canvas in Florida once you have the AS3 FLA, you can publish the animation as a swf file.

  • Was one of my PSD file placed in Indesign export to format PDF is small but the other is very large. WHY?

    Dear all,

I am facing an unknown problem when I export the PDF file from indesign. I check around all the Images, I found that when some of the PSD files has been placed in indesign and exported to PDF format, the file size is very large. Please see the joint (large_size).  But some are normal, please see the joint (small_size). And you can see that the PSD file is no difference in Photoshop. And PDF output setting is the same, please see the other clip.

What is the problem of the PSD file? Why the result is a huge different?

    large_size.png

    small_size.png

    Export PDF setting.png

Really? If I open "S6_edge_gold 2.psd" and in the layers palette, right-click "Layer 1", "Duplicate layer", select New destination and save the new DSP, the DSP news is only 5.8 MB. Placed in an InDesign document and PDF export is no longer made a bloated file.
