  Hold down the SHIFT key while you press OK and see if this brings them to the top. You can also try trashing the prefs see replace your preferences

• 21 of Firefox is not read my user.js file.

  21 FF doesn't seem to be reading or the application my file on the user prefs.js file user.js. I have installed 21 FF, entered: config, brought changes that I wanted to so they would appear in the prefs.js file. Then I saved the file as user.js and removed all the parameters that I care not. Then I reset my machine virtual, installed new FF 21 and saved the file in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox\defaults\profile. When I started 21 FF it did not apply the settings and have behaved as if there is no user.js file. Here's a copy of my user.js file:

• Parameter "browser.startup.homepage" during install lock keep any user has changed home pages?

  When I put the page using the pref, using the common method of 'mozilla.cfg', any time that a user tries to set the home page, it does not record. Instead, it is up to the page defined by the pref. I can see in the file of pref users it is correctly written, however once that Firefox is completely rebooted, it resets that both Firefox options and the user prefs file.   Thanks for your help, but that still does not solve the problem. What I ended up doing is to edit the browserconfig.properties file located in the folder omni.ja\chrome\en-US\locale\branding\ and then copying that down to the local path. All my other changes made in the Mozilla.cfg file work without problem.

  Hard disk for error checking and fixing it is a routine system for Office PC network maintenance, if the user is to have performance at all times.

  The last PC has a hard drive of 500 GB to 1 TB size and many files for sanning. If will take about 10-20 minutes to perform the task. Generally it is not recommended to do so due to the timing tight work at office hours. Most of the office user prefer to do after working hours leaving their PC on for scanning. To Win 7 & Win 8 do not have an auto-off function after completion of the task of "Check Disk". The PC must be on during the night after scanning.

  For energy saving, I would suggest a new feature that allows the user to choose to shut down their PC when the task is completed.

  Thanks for the reply. The commands shown above are content to a Windows batch file. You simply create the Windows batch file using Notepad. The steps posted above shows how to create a file Windows specific command and its content. It then saves at a given location. You can then open the Windows created batch file to process orders (content).

  No, it's all just a new file, we create with the .bat extension so that Windows will understand that the file we will create a Windows batch file. Thus, we will be able to run these commands at the command prompt. In DOS, OS/2and also Microsoft Windows, the batch file is the name given to a type of script file, a text file containing a series of commands to be executed by the Shell.
  Unfortunately, chkdsk requires administrator privileges to run correctly. You need to run the command of Windows as Administrator file to run all the commands, but you don't need administrator privileges to create the file. Even check the disc from the properties of the disc requires administrator privileges. You must be the administrator of your operating system, but not the administrator of your network.
  Windows will not prompt you to rerun the command of Windows as Administrator file. Instead, it will show you an error message indicating that you are not an administrator, and the command will not run if the Windows command file, you try to run contains commands that require administrator privileges, and you tried to run the command of Windows under a limited user account file. To avoid this problem, start the batch file to Windows as an administrator to ensure that all commands in the Windows batch file will run correctly.

  With a mechanism just listen to ordinary event.

  Important notes:

  1 if the document is not saved at all, and save you the first time, the event is not raised.

  2. If you test the script and that you want to make changes and run the script again, quit and restart InDesign

  I don't have test intensively. All tests are performed with InDesign CS6 v8.1.0 on Mac OSX 10.10.3.

  3. If the script is placed in a startup scripts folder, the script will be automatically activated after that InDesign is started and is active when you exit InDesign.

  4. If the script is run from the Scripts Panel of InDesign it will be active until you exit InDesign.

  I work as an assistant COMPUTER in a company. Before my job, my supervisor used LiveCycle Designer to create all our forms. Much of this work fell on me now, but I'm trying to figure out which program would be best suited. I find LiveCycle to be somewhat archaic, and it does not sit well with other programs, even in the following Adobe. More alarming, that seems not be supported almost as well as any other program Adobe, as if he were to be progressive. I don't want to learn this program if it becomes obsolete as soon as...

  What I don't like not inDesign, is that while it covers all the defects mentioned, it does not seem much LiveDesigner employs some advanced features. It comes to things like the calculations behind the scenes and scripts in the PDF itself. If I missed those options, I'd love to be corrected.

  What does the community think? LiveCycle Designer is worth learning, or inDesign powerful enough to provide what I need?

  If you want stuff like that, stick with LiveCycle Designer, with all its limitations. LiveCycle Designer is therefore more part of the Acrobat, is Windows only, etc. etc. My impression is that Adobe is it gradually.

  InDesign is just an entry by creating a form in Acrobat. It's a comfortable and familiar layout for InDesign users. There is a large group of people who know how to create and use Acrobat Forms. No doubt some of the things you want from LiveCycle can be done by adding JavaScript, but it happens in Acrobat Pro, not in InDesign. You should spend some time in the forum of PDF Acrobat forms because you would spend part if your time in InDesign, part of your time in Acrobat Pro:

  I'm not a frequent indesign user, but it is very annoying... I'm not able to indesign at the present time.

  As soon as I start indesign, and everything is just loaded it freezes. Tried a reinstall recently. But no luck.

  I use more recent 2015 CC (August) on OSX El Captian.

  Also I tried to install Indesign CC2014 and CS6, but creative cloud just hangs at "waiting" when I click on install.

  Another thing is that my own Mac "CEPHtmlEngine Helper" say freeze. Not sure if that is related...

  You're not talking about "Adobe" here. This is a user forum. We're InDesign users like you.

  There are a variety of ways to prepare for the exams of the ACE. You should not limit yourself to the classroom in a book, which is a first. Take courses. Read the help files. Search the Internet of video tutorials.
