Indexing an extra disk without losing the original drive

In collaboration with Vista Ultimate installed on a C 400 MB drive.  I am writing to inquire about the additional E-Reader installed months after that the computer was built.  Can an introduct "Indexing" on drive E without losing the indexing of the C drive.  The documentation says nothing about it and do such a change could cause permanent damage.

In addition, the reliability and performance diagnostic feature shows you that memory is a problem.  It is a 2.4 Ghz machine withan processor intel cord quad, 4 GB memory and a relatively new motherboard.  The overview of resources shows a 'yellow' light for the performance of the memory and the use shows 71% and 808 MB of available memory.  I see no particular indication on how to address this issue.  Requested orientation.

  • How can I place several smaller images of varying size on one page for printing without losing the original size.  Board contact option to resize my pictures

Does anyone know how to place several small pictures on a single page, so I can print them out as a rather print over and over again.  I want to maintain the original size of the images that vary somewhat.  I tried to use the option of the Board-contact, but he seems to want to resize my images which unfortunately is of no use to me.  I tried to cut and paste on a new page, but I don't think that it is now the original size.

Alternative applications sometimes can provide quick and easy results.

It might be interesting to download the demo version of Photoline: it includes a simple Board-contact option that allows for images to be included without loss of resolution, i.e. the original is left intact and the proportions remain unchanged. Since Photoline also supports documents several pages, all the thumbnails are collected into rows and columns, the user can control and the end result can be exported as PDF.

    -Download the trial of pl32.com

-Open Photoline, then open the browser (CTRL/CMD (B)

-Navigate to your folder with the images you want to combine for printing.

-right mouse click in the thumbnail view, and then select "Create image Catalog.

-Select the page by Page size

-under 'Size' define the number of rows and columns (there are here a translation error: "Spalten (COL) / rows (lines)".)

-Uncheck "scale photos physically." This ensures that the original images are intact and incorporated in full resolution.

    And then click OK.

Some of the other testing devices until you get a satisfactory result. Then export it to PDF.

  • How to cut a path in a grid without losing the original attributes?

Whenever I shared a square/rectangle in a grid, the object seems to come out more and loses the original angle of direction, opacity and original size.  However, it keeps its proportions and the base color.  How do I do this action while maintaining all the attributes?

    Thank you

    This option is not available.

The command 'Split in grid' (apparently) uses the framework encompassing as reference to create the object 'cut' (check the screenshot).

  • How to save a file under a different name without losing the original file

Each year, I kept records of donation for our local community garden.  When I was with numbers on OS 10.6, I could go to file > save as > then enter the new name.  Do it this way, I could keep the original file and also have a new file.  The original file will not lose its data.

But now, when I go to file all I see is to save or rename.  Let me give you an example:

In 2015, when the amounts of donations would start coming to me, I opened the file from 2014 and pulled all amounts.  I replaced the title of donations to the Food Bank in 2014 with the 2015 food bank donations.  I would like to go to file and select Save as and type the new name for the file.  Is there something I'm missing that I cannot save under?

Hold down the Alt/Option key while clicking on 'File' in the menu bar. This will give you the Save as option.

  • APEX 5 - region to refresh IR without losing the focus on the region of origin

I have several interactive reports that are on a page. When you select a line in the above report, it updates all other reports. It works very well. However, it changes the focus to the last report which has been refreshed. So basically done scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. I want to focus at the top of the page, but allow the user to scroll down to see additional information if they want to.

Also, I added a selector to display area directly under the body of the report to allow the user to determine what Sub reports they see. When the user selects a specific report to display (instead of all) I see the following in the console error message:

    TypeError: that.element.find (...) [0] is undefined1 widget.interactiveReport.min.js:1:27035

When I look in widget.interactiveReport.min.js:1:27035 to this place, I see that he wanders on the following:

    that. Element.Find (": focusable") [0] .focus ())

I guess she's trying to set the focus to the last region that has been updated and it can't because this region is not currently displayed.

The positive point is that it seems to be updated even if it is not displayed and the error is not obvious for the end users.

However, I would really like to be able to update areas without losing the focus on my region of origin. Is this possible?

    Jennifer

    Hi Jen,

Thanks for reporting this. I agree that it is a question that the update steals focus, where emphasis is already defined elsewhere on the page and filed bug #21214580 to do this, the fix for which we intend to include in the first set 5.0.1 patch.

For your information, we also have a future feature filed to improve the way that interactive reports are currently managing the focus. Currently always set us the focus to the first focusable element in the report (and now in 5.0.1 with this fix is going to be a registered caveat not to do where emphasis is already defined elsewhere), but what would be better would be to focus, if possible, be restored where it was previously (for example search field buttons next / previous pagination) ), which is the plan for the future.

When 5.0.1 comes out, you can remove your workaround solution as who will not be necessary.

    Kind regards

    Anthony.

  • How can I force a paragraph style without losing the italics?

This has been annoying me for ages. I work on documents in Word, using italics for book titles, etc. and then import them into indesign. I apply a paragraph style and three out of four times the bits in italics are preserved. However, the fourth time the paragraph style does not (probably due to the presence of italics) and I have to force him to do it using Alt-click. Invariably, the italics is replaced by Roman.

It happens earlier with a bunch of notes and endnotes in a book, I'm working on and means I have to go back through each of them, manually applying italics to my books and reference titles. Is it possible to force a paragraph of note/reference style without losing the text in italics?

    Thanks for your suggestions,

    Tom.

I'm not sure that long-term planning is needed here.

If your only concern loses italics when importing from Word, create,.

in InDesign, an italic character style. Then do a search and replace

in the document, InDesign (once you have placed the Word file)

looking for an italics, formatting and replacing with your italics

    character style.

Who will save you from losing your italic formatting.

Repeat for bold, bold italic, exponent, index and nothing else

    the author uses.

There are scripts that help in this process (I think one of them is

    called "preptext", by Jongware).

If you want a complete solution that can be found all types of

override setting in shape and creates and applies the appropriate character

style, check out my script "create character the Styles of overrides him."

available on the script on freelancebookdesign.com tab.

Make a backup of each phone to iTunes or iCloud (do not forget to use your Apple ID or personal computer), then do whatever your carrier wants do you to change numbers if that's your intention, then restore these backups on the device of the "other."

  • Satellite P300 - 19 H: can I install Linux without losing the warrany?

    Hello

I'm a french so please forgive me for my bad English.
I just want to know if it is possible to install Linux on my system without compromising my warranty.

    My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite P300 - 19H
The current operating system is Vista Premium Home Edition (pre-installation on my laptop)
I paid for 3 year extended warranty, that's why I want to be sure I can install Linux.

If it is possible, I have to take certain steps before you try to install it in a Dualboot with Vista?

    Thanks for the reply.

    Hello

You can install Linux without losing the warranty. Toshiba doesn't support Linux on this laptop, but you can install it of course.

If you want to do a dual boot with Vista and that you are interested in a version of Ubuntu, you should take a look at the Wubi:
    http://wubi-Installer.org/
It is a sure way to install Ubuntu on laptop with Vista installed.

    Check it!

  • How to get the image complete at all times without losing the old frame in labview

    Hello

How to create a vi that accept full frame at all times in a list without losing the old that come from a table.

Sorry - thought you meant a combo Box is not a listbox control.

Please find attached an example with a multicolumn listbox.

You need to build an array of information from the line, then insert a new row in the main table.

    I hope this helps.

  • What is the 'best' way to copy a useful project again, so it can be changed without affecting the original?

I'm pretty much a newbie to LavVIEW.

I use LabVIEW complete edition on Windows 7 2012.  I copied a project using Save As duplicate in the Project Explorer.  He created an excessively long and complex directory structure.  He made "too long" (probably from the path being too long).

The intention was to obtain a copy of the project can be used to freely modify it without damaging the original.

I searched the Forum and knowledge base, do not see anything definitive.  I guess that information is already posted, but just, I have not been able to find.  A point in the right direction would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Mark

Copy the directory of the whole project to a new location

Delete the files .lvlps, .lvprog and the new .aliases copy

Start LabView and create a new empty project

In the project manager, add a new auto fill directory select the new copy of the project directory

Save the new project in the new project directory

Only caveat is that this does not all dependencies in your user.lib or inst.lib for the first time, you open a vi that you might find some of the dependencies that are not in the default locations.
