  My caps lock indicator windows stopped working a while ago and then I turned on toggle keys .but it has also stopped working.   Microsoft does not have any indicator, only the ToggleKeys.  Windows itself has never had such a feature.  You must use another program on your old computer, perhaps a program you downloaded from the Internet or a program that your computer manufacturer preinstalled for you.  Sony installs keyboard for example indicators and I think Dell has on some of their computers.  But he has never been a built-in feature.

  Caps Lock indicator is powered by a program called Dell QuickSet.  You may be able to adjust by pressing the Logo Windows + X on your keyboard to open Mobility Center, where some options of Dell appeared.  You can also check your keyboard and (less obvious) your control panel mouse, where pilots can have built-in options of standard tabs on Windows.

  Otherwise, you may need to reinstall the program from the Dell Web site.

  SOLVED! I contacted ACER and they told me to install the launch Manager.

  I got this program already, but as I suspected that I removed this program from the start up.
  That's what they said:

• How can I disable the caps lock indicator/notification? -Lenovo Ideapad y700

  Whenever I have press NumLock or CapsLock Maj, a useless and annoying indicator appears. I was extremely frustrated with this indicator, it is often close me out programs in full screen (videos and especially games) just to tell me that I pressed the caps lock button. If possible, I'd love to permanently disable these indicators/notification for caps and numlock.

  The online instructions indicate:

  1. Click Search, and then type Control Panel , and then click the appropriate search results.
  2. Click the icon to display , and then click change display settings on the left panel.
  3. Click on the Advanced settings, and then click the display tab.
     Note: ThinkPad is displayed on the screen tab, should install the Hotkey driver.
  4. Check enable on-screen display.
  5. Under the "NumLock and CapsLock indicator settings" section, look for 'while the digital lock or caps lock is on"section, choose the option 'display the indicator for a few seconds'.
  6. Click apply, and then click OKand click OK to close the window.

     I did not tab display on the screen, and I don't know what is the pilot "Hotkey". I have tried to download a driver related to display the parameters of the Lenovo download page, but that generated an error message. One of my friends suggested that the way to remove this could be through the registry editor, but I am not convinced that I could take without seriously damaging the software in some way.

     Please, if anyone has solutions, suggestions or advice, I would appreciate you sharing! Thank you for reading.

  When I got my Acer Aspire it had Win 8 installed, that I lower leveled for Win 7 64 bit, because he had to with my MCSA curriculum work.

  First be sure you have the latest version of the software you download for your keyboard:

  Once installed, you can proceed as follows:

  > Click Start
  > keyboard in the search field type
  > double click on keyboard options
  > on the settings tab of the key, go to the list of key parameters
  > Locate and double-click CAPS LOCK
  > in the menu, you should see where it says "State LOCK SHIFT display on screen.
  > Click on the checkbox, then click on finish

  I've recently been messing around in the msconfig and services.msc trying to streamline things. Also, I went to the back office database, but switched to an aero theme.   The only solution I could offer would be to check online for 3rd party software, I did a quick search on Google for "caps lock indicator software" and found a few programs that offer on the screen recalls. I can't say that works best or even if it is an acceptable solution for you, only that it is the only workaround I can think.

  I'm trying to disable the Caps Lock OSD (indicator) on my Lenovo Z50 - 75. I already looked in the display options, but I do not see the tab "on-screen Display". I managed to stop it from coming in putting an end to the "LenovoUtility" task in Task Manager, but I would like to know if there are better solutions because LenovoUtility can be used for other things that my PC may need.

  The passenger ON the icon as well as when it is turned off is a default response time caps & Num lock keys. There is no customization for public services. Uninstall the utiliity would be the only way, but can affect other materials as well.
