  I will be changing my exclusively H323 to SIP client only VCS dial plan. This will be done to activate the route through VCS - E and also prepare for the migration of their VC on CUCM endpoints at a later date. When I change the dial plan I'll change the end point URIs, aka Multiway and digital beaches assigned to scheduled meetings.

  Can you please help me understand what I need to do to make sure that:

  1. MSD directories are updated with new endpoint aliases; and
  2. Existing meetings are moved to the new number ranges

  Telephone directories TMS should update automatically as long as they do not use a source directory manually.  You should see the telephone directory changes some time after you migrate the H323 to SIP endpoints points, depending on how often you have telephone directories to update.

  A regular conference will have to be updated to reflect the change dial plan, you can simply change the Protocol that uses H323 to SIP endpoint in the settings to connect to the Conference.

I'm sending it back for a replacement but I had already installed windows 7 with important files, I need on the partition primary drive. If I need to do the reinstall then what is the best method to back up all my files?

  If you simply replace the motherboard, then you should be able to boot Windows 7 on it without problem.

  We currently have a function that imposes on users SQL password complexity. If we could use in some sort of logic to apply password changes the user of the Application (something equivalent to the password_verify_function in terms of database).
  
  Password complexity: 3 of the 4 are required - uppercase, lowercase, digital, special characters
  
  How do I achieve this in Ebussiness suite R12.
  
  Note: We do not use OAM (Oracle Access Manager) integrated with our applications.
  
  Please tell me an approach or is there another package or function defined where we customize according to the requirement.

  Now find the msgid you want to edit and write your own string under msgdtr as follows:

  If your application knows with certainty that the user has been successfully authenticated by an external mechanism, then you must use the "connection proxy" function to run queries on behalf of this user.

  The proxy connection relies on a secret shared between your application and the server of ITS. This behavior is implemented by the Federation of the entities of confidence in global settings. The login name of the proxy is the name of the entity, and the password is entered directly in the page trust entities or search via the plugin of the identity, if option is selected on the trusted entities page.

  If you want to change the password in Windows Vista, follow these steps:

  -Click on Start and go to control panel.
  -Click user accounts and family safety.
  This link is not available using the classic view of the control panel.
  If you use the classic view just do a double-click on the icon user accounts.
  -Click the link for user accounts.
  -In the area called to make changes to your user account, click on the change your password link.
  -In the first text box, enter your current password.
  -In the other two text boxes to enter the password you want to use.
  -Finally click on the button of past change and to confirm the changes.
  -Close the window user accounts.
  -Now your Windows Vista logon password has been changed

  By the way; you need ADMIN rights to change this.

  You use the built-in account named "Administrator"?  If so, the behavior you describe is "a feature, not a bug."

  Windows XP hidden administrator account when a user account is created (because it's a good idea not to use administrator systematically; it should be saved for emergencies).

  You access the administrator account integrated differently depending on whether you have XP Home or XP Pro.

  For XP Home:

  You must restart in Mode without failure.  Restart the computer and start typing the F8 key as soon as the initial startup process is finished.  If you see the Windows logo, you waited too long and you have to restart again.   If you do it right, you will see the white Advance Boot Options menu on black (image).  Use the up/down arrows and the Enter key to select Mode safe because your mouse does not work on this screen.  Once the computer starts in Mode safe mode, the administrator account will appear on the Welcome screen.  If you have not changed the password, the password is blank (no password).

  For XP Pro:

  Follow the signs for XP Home Edition, or in the Welcome screen, with no logged-in user, press CTRL + ALT + DELETE twice.  The 'classic' logon box will appear.  Type "Administrator" (without the quotes).  Once again, the default password is empty.

  Once you enter the administrator account, create an account with "computer administrator" privileges for occasions when you need (for example, to run the system restore or create accounts).  You can use any name you want (other than Administrator), such as MyAdmin.
