• Thunderbird does not work properly after copying old content profile in the new profile, what can I do

  My old laptop crashed, but fortunately I got the hard drive out, who now works as an external drive. I installed TB on my new laptop computer. I copied the contents of the old file to profile in the new profile file and start of TB. I have all my files of pace, but TB does nog works correctly. After that connection, it takes forever to load the new messages, when I leave a message to another, the first answer I get is "TB not responding' and after a few minutes, I finally get to the next message. Same story with 'reply' or 'delete '. I already tried to delete the index file and have tuberculosis still indexing message folders, but this did not help.

  I noticed that my old profile files seems to have a sort of double files in the subfolder Mail, old accounts. For example: pop.tele2.nl, pop.tele2 - 1.nl, pop.tele2 - 2.nl. I'm not sure what they are (they seem to hold different versions?) or is it relevant?

  When I search the AppData/Roaming/profiles I'll find it (on the old and the new hard disk as well) but I can not navigate on him (some parents of hidden file)? I checked the rights on the files of my account profile (Administrator rights). I don't know what to do more, so I hope to help.

  Here's the e-mail accounts for pop e-mail account. If you have several addresses on the same server, it will have the same name but an additional example:-1 appended to the name. If you got an e-mail account, it can also create and add the additional number. Why you have several, I can't say with certainty what caused them without knowing what you have done. The point being, you must have the directory Local pointing to one that is correct and has all your existing emails.

  What local directory is set to the e-mail account?
  "Tools" > "Account settings" > "Server settings" for the e-mail account
  bottom right under "Local Directory"

  How many emails you have in the Inbox folder?
  It is advisable to use the Inbox folder as a mailbox for incoming mail, and not as a general storage. Suggest you create folders and move all the emails in the Inbox in other appropriate folders, then right-click on Inbox and select "Compact".

  It is also a good idea to Archive mail older than a few months.
  Implemented for archive by month and keep the structure of archive folders. These emails will still be visible by 'Archives' folder and in your profile, but check-in will reduce the size of files and therefore less memory use during their opening.

  My file size should limit to 20 MB, after crosess 20 MB file I have to write my data at the beginning of the file. Here, I have replace the oldest data from the beginning without affecting all the other data of the file and this process should fallow in time only to overwrite the old data.

• How to make old content Outlook XP to Outlook new Windows 7 Professional machine?

  I'm fighting to make Windows 7 Professional can be used on a quad-Intel machine.  I backed up my Outlook XP files and folders, and want to import them into Outlook under Windows 7.  I have trouble believing it never occurred to Microsoft that someone might want to do this :-)  In any case, I have tried to search the knowledge base and have not yet found the answer.

  Can I move the old files somewhere and have the pop file/folder structure in the new prospects?  I don't see even a way to import more.

  Anyone who successfully conquered this problem, I'd love to hear from you as to what worked.  Thank you.

  It's a very simple thing to do.  Close Outlook on the old machine, make a copy of your. PST file, place this copy in a folder on your new machine where it will not overwrite any existing. PST files, then re - connect Outlook.

• InDesign pdf interactive showing the old content by mistake

  I exported a pdf interactive InDesign CC. The content is correct when the page is first displayed, but after clicking on the navigation buttons, the content of the page is incorrect. It's back to a previous version, but there is no more content in the InDesign file. I re-registered and changed the name and file location and it seems to make no difference.

  I use destinations of hyperlink to a few pages. I wonder if this is causing my problems? But I did not experience in 10 years... I'm puzzled.

  A topic listed "contained." I've edited to contain 'B' and saved my change. The date of change of heading is 18/01/2008. But now when I use Muti-file find to look for ' content ' it still lists this topic and highlights A content in the preview window. When I refer to "content" is not there. Its as if the utility finds Muti-file is a database of up-to-date research. Is there a refresh or rebuild or something I should be doing?

  AHA! Search results are actually finding 'content' in a subfolder of the! SSL! folder. His name! chm_tmp_folder_0. The dates in these files have not changed since 10/15/07. It looks like I can take this apparently temporary folder and I'll be good.

  I created an iOS app and an android app. I created maps and contents that appear in the iOS app. When I build a new Backpack 2015 android app it loads old content of the old version of dps not the same maps and content created in 2015 of DPS.

  The only way this can happen is that you install your old application, not your new application. Are test you this via the port USB install? Or download from the store?

  Is it possible that you have content in your iTunes library, music, apps, etc., which is always on the device? Restore you from old backup, or one done which contained the old content.   I don't know if this is the right place for all of my questions, some refer content Wordpress, but all on the same site.

  I have developed a new site for our company. He will replace our current wordpress site which was tail entirely using wordpress by a web designer.   IMO, a sensitive site is the way to go.  I don't know your reasons for moving away from WordPress, however, it makes more sense to keep the whole of the site on a single platform responsive & dynamic instead of cut into separate pieces that you have.

  That said, the JavaScript redirect code is below.   Put this in thesection of all the pages of your site.   Window.location change the URL of your mobile/tablet.  Adjust the value of the breakpoint (950) as requires it.

  On the surface, this may seem like a good solution.  But you should be aware of the defects.

  1. It is not 100% reliable.  Redirect JavaScript will not work if users have JS disabled in their device.  It is not common, less than 5% of users have no script.   But users will see your site Office.
  2. It's a trip one way.  In other words, even if users want to see the site of the office, they can't get there unless they move on to more great devices or disable JavaScript & refresh their browser.
  3. With multiple URLS, there is risk of Google penalty to have contained duplicate on your site.   To avoid this, you must add canonical (preferred) URL of each pagetag.

• RoboHelp 2015 WebHelp output - does not display the previous content after HR 2015 update

  I have a client who created their WebHelp with the original version of HR 2015. The project file has been updated by someone who had already updated their HR 2015... not sure that this day they used. Updated 2 or 3 because it is a recent event. The result was that only new images have been published. Images of previous content - created before the update of HR 2015, no longer displayed images. At the time where the customer still has a computer with the original version of HR 2015 on this it's help. However, we do our best to solve this problem. They would like all their HR 2015 was updated to the latest version.

  Customer has also tried to generate a Word from the HR file document, however, new content has been included and the images of the old content includes incoherently. When the same file is opened in RoboHelp, you can see all the images in the content of the old and the new.

  Someone attempted to open the project file in a later version of HR and the files seem to be corrupted. This is all the information I have at the moment. I hope you all have a few ideas so that when I meet with them tomorrow I'll be able to look for problems that may arise.

  Once I got the actual files of the client, I was able to solve the problem by importing the old files to extract pod.

  Here are the steps I gave the client after you have imported the Snippet pod files successfully:

  How about you, create another instance of the AAU and archiving / transferring all the elements of A to B server. The idea is like this:

  1 create another instance of the AAU and put in place to be exactly like the current one.

  2. establish a connection to archive the server target for automatic replication

  a.) create an another export archive, which is manual (not automated)

  3. create a new metadata or use a date condition to export all of the elements that you would be identified as "delete".

  4. once the condition is reached, server transfers the content to Server B.

  5 run the manual export archive and select 'delete the contents of the server after successful export '.

  In this way, you can remove the content from the main server and end users can use a different system to search for old material as well.

• Bug with deleting content

  On the deletion of old content from a collection - (18 collections in all!). The collection still keeps some data, although there is no items that it contains.

  Might be interesting to look at that? Attached image to a collection, which is EMPTY, apart from a single banner - and yet all these "unknown" entities are still listed.

  

  Finally, there is a big delay when deleting articles, and the system seems to remove one by one.

  Had to wait for 30 minutes to see them all disappear.
