• InDesign crashes whenever I try to insert a new page.

  I work with the new version of InDesign (I've updated about 20 minutes ago) and the computer I use is basically new.   All the methods of creating dynamic pages use the settings "create PDF from Web Page".

  Pages > insert more Options > create a PDF file of the Web Page > settings > Page Layout, change the choice and exit the dialog box.

  Looks like you may have updated to misapplication. Probably, you have Adobe Acrobat (the full version) and installed Adobe Acrobat Reader instead. If you had "improved" Adobe Acrobat, it would have cost you money. Acrobat Reader is free.

  Adobe Reader has no such functionality; you will need Acrobat for that.

  I have a program that refers to Adobe Acrobat Pro.  Previously, we have been using Adobe Acrobat Pro version 8 and would like to upgrade to the latest version.  I downloaded a trial version of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI to test the program with, but I get an error when you try to create an adobe object.  The error that says it cannot create the object.  Doing some research I found that it is probably a result of me having an unregistered version of Adobe Acrobat Pro on my machine.  It is cancelled, since this is the trail version.

  My question is, am I able to test that the program works with the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro without having to buy first?  We would of course it works with the new version before you buy licenses for the version for our users.

  Your another program may need to be updated to a new version. There are changes to the way in which you call by Acrobat and Reader via IAC (Inter Application Communication) program so if you are a programmer, you may need to make some changes.  If you're not the programmer of the other application then as said previously he may need to be upgraded to a newer version as well.

  From your post, I understand that you are not able to add a new page in the location you want to add. I know how it is important for your book or in the order that you want it to be in. Once you add the extra page will be able to do drag where you want to put it to you?

  Not knowing what's in your "simple table", it is difficult to make suggestions. But if you have a text field in the table to expand to different users, just make a multiline field. Select the field in the object field tab, check on allow multiple lines. On the page layout tab, check Expand to fit. Make sure that the parent form allows content sank. And this of course only works in dynamic forms.

  If you talk about something more to add rows to a table, it is possible also, but a completely different procedure!

  So far, I created a page with a form that allows the administrator to easily add items to the database. And I created the News Page using a table and repeating recordset.

  My application has a page of 'low' which has a page of menu shoot upward.

  Then the "back" button & nav bar disappear from the bottom.  That is what it is?  I thought that the back button has been associated with the menu page?

  May be a bug. Try to insert the new page at index 1, and then delete the page at index 0.

  If it disappears again, try commenting on 'remove' - it will return to newly inserted page correctly?

  I put the attribute EO 'AppointmentId' to use a DBSequence. I tried different combinations to get the sequence Id and insert a line. Nothing worked well and I'm unable to insert a new line.
  
  If I avoid using the attribute 'AppointmentId' and that you try to insert a row, it will fail with the error below:
  
  ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ('APPS'. "" "" XX_CA_APPOINTMENTS '. "" APPOINTMENT_ID") ORA-06512: at line 1
  
  Tried to insert the new row using BCTester but I am struck by the same error it (I was unable to change the value of the "AppointmentId" column when inserting the line because this column is read-only and it showed as - 2 value).
  
  I guess, since the attribute of column/is already marked to use a DBSequence, the value should be assigned by default and I shouldn't hit "cannot insert the value NULL to the column.
  Did I miss something necessary to trigger the sequence to automatically generate new Id and assign it to the new line before it is created?

  Oracle changes this behavior each version, so I hope that its still OK.
  If you have a trigger on the table that inserts the value of the id if none is preset, then mark it as DBSequence, or be it the number.

  Now for your entity, just generate the impl class and override the method create, kind of old school, I know, but it never fails.
  In the create just add the code to your sequence you had:

  SequenceImpl seqImpl = new SequenceImpl("", thisTransaction);
  Number idValue= s.getSequenceNumber();
  setAttribute("Id", idValue);

  Simple? -J' need to provide a navigation based on the Table of contents of a 400 page document.  In Adobe Pro (any version), the bookmarks are created and easily read.  How we carry on bookmarks in Adobe Reader for our customers?

  In Acrobat, click file > properties > initial view > layout and navigation > Navigation tab and the value "Panel bookmarks and page".

• Inserting a new record in the database using a form empty ADF

  I'm trying to insert a new record into the database using a form.
  
  I have an Employee table and its corresponding entity object and the view object. The table has an id that is used as the primary key and is filled using a sequence in the comic book.
  
  Data controls, I dragged and dropped at the sight of the employee as a form of ADF and checked the submit button include. Then I dragged and dropped the validation on submit button operation.
  
  When I connect to the app and go to the page used to create, I have 2 problems:
  1 - the form is filled with the logged in user info.
  2. If I try to change the news and validation, the user info is changed in the database and no new record is created.
  
  It makes a little sense to me, but I would like to know if there is a way around it (get an empty form and insert a new record).
  NB: the employee id is not part of the form, I want to be filled using the sequence.

  User, please tell us your jdev version!

  To do this, you must create a new record before going to the display of the form page. In a stubborn workflow (btf), you drag the operation createInsert of the VO on the btf and it will generate a link method, add a view to the btf and put a navigation of the binding of the method of the page. Mark the method as 'Activity by default'. Now, ren, you call the workflow, you create a new record that will show your blank form.
