  I read in the text of a spreadsheet file and I create menu items to aid insertion of Menu items.  The menu looks very good.  I click on the menu and I can't see the following:

  You can not. They must be unique. You can always set the tags yourself. As long as they are unique.

  I have an action in which I want to change an existing adjustment layer. I can't save the menu item «Edit adjustment...» "in the drop down palette layers.

  To add the step, I tried the following steps:

  I think that you make it harder than it is.  Just record the action and adjust the adjustment layer, you add during the recording of the action.  When did you record the action you should see that there two steps were recorded for the adjustment layer, you added during the recording of the action.   When my business has improved my Photoshop CS5 (version 6.0.1) a few years ago, I noticed that some menu items were no longer available. I didn't think too much of it, but I just finished watching a tutorial and they showed one of these options for CS5. The two I can think of to are Image = > Adjust = > Gamma and tone dark / light tones. How can I not, and how to bring them back? I've looked everywhere but can't find it in one of the forums.

  I don't know what you have. I've owned Photoshop since v 5.0.2 (1998) and anything marked CS5 is not version 6, it has the 12 version.

• Missing menu items Javascript on Acrobat 9 Standard

  I tried to get into some more advanced forms in Acrobat JS coding, and I'm running into a bit of a roadblock to access javascript tools.  Specifically, I keep seeing references to Javascript menu items under the Advanced menu, but my Acrobat doesn't seem to have these at all.  Also, I can not open the console of the debugger JS/avec Ctrl-J, but it opens if I put in a syntactically incorrect javascript statement and try to run it (in a form field, etc.).

  Anyone has any ideas how to fix this?  I found references online to which is a problem if Acrobat Reader is also installed on the same machine (it was), so I removed which, but the problem persists.  I can't get javascript into an individual field, but I can't add a script to the level of the document at all.

  It's funny. Yes, I meant Standard and not Pro. This is a really stupid restriction because it is advisable to place as much code as possible at the level of the document JavaScripts. A workaround for the standard is to put them in the opening event of the Page of the original page. If there is more than 1 page, it is best to add a simple check to see if all the variables/functions are already defined before they are initialized. If it's not supposed to, I could show an example. But it is not required, just a good idea.

  Versions of Firefox 3.6 + have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.

  Press the Alt key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open view > toolbars and select menu bar, so it has a check mark.
  
  The F10 can also be used on most PCs to temporarily reveal the menu bar.

• dynamically create and destroy the custom menu item

  I have a standard TestStand platform that I use on multiple systems.  On some systems, I have a few sequences of calibration and I would like to have the Update menu to have the RunSequence of these sequences of calibration.  I know how to manually create these menu items, but they are no longer valid for some sequence files.  I would use the sequence SequenceFileLoad to dynamically create menu items and the SequenceFileUnload to destroy these menu items.

  I've played around with the API, but cannot determine the correct path to get to the create and destroy the custom menu items.  Does anyone know how this can be done?

  Yes, see the online help for the members of the following APIs:

  EditTimeMenuItems

  EditTimeMenuItem

  Basically, you get a collection of tool using Engine.GetEditTimeToolMenuItems () menu items and then call EditTimeMenuItems.Insert () or EditTimeMenuItems.Remove (). If you insert a you get returns an EditTimeMenuItem object on which you can change the settings.

  In addition, since it has an expression to hide items in menu tool, you need not necessarily to destroy, you can hide them instead.
