  Why you should not place an editable inside tags like H or P or
  B or others like them. This requires being hassled by an alert box on the
  locked content.

  Maybe you could get away with it in this case, IF you do not ever
  to put the tags within this editable area who do not belong inside a tag H.

  I've always used HomeSite for HTML coding in the past, I like the interface and the direct control of the HTML code, however, I'm experimenting with the use of Dreamweaver. While the coding of templates for our email marketing solution [link removed by Moderator] I noticed that when you import images, Dreamweaver is not automatically add the border = '0', the height or width attributes. Y at - control to have these added by default?

  Dreamweaver adds height and width automatically if it can detect the dimensions of the image. However, you have reason it adds not the attribute border, because it is deprecated in HTML.

  If you want to change the default behavior, you can do so by editing the JavaScript file that inserts images. In Dreamweaver CS5, this is C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS5\configuration\Objects\Common\Image.js (Windows) or Applications/Adobe/Adobe Dreamweaver CS5/configuration/Objects/Common/Image.js.

  Modifying the files in the configuration folder is relatively simple, if you're careful and you know what you're doing. Make a backup in case you're wrong.

  45-49 lines insert the image tag. They look like this:

  Add border = '0', change them like this:

  As you can see, rtnStr in the first half of the conditional statement adds the width and height if they are detected. You can add them to rtnStr in the else clause if necessary.

  You can customize the context menu to remove elements of the request and keep others:

  Click on the table (and not on the array element!) in the Panel and select Advanced-> Menu contextual Run - Time-> Edit...

  This brings the context Menu Editor:

  Change the control drop-down menu of "Default" to "Custom".

  Select it "?" line in the tree on the left control.

  on the right, change the element Type of the "user position" «Application point-> Description and Tip...» »

  It automatically fills the corrent name and the tag.

  Save the rtm either in a file or in the control.

  LV will automatically manage elements of the application in the control, any necessary events.

  I mainly work with php files and I'm still working in code view only.  I am editing the php files that I wrote using a different code a few years ago Editor.  I place the cursor to the place in the code where I want to go the image tag and use the menu "insert an Image".  The code is then placed directly under the < body > tag.  It is always placed in the same place no matter where I place it in the code.  Can someone tell me what is happening here?  Thank you.

  Not sure why it does not insert the image where the cursor is, but my workflow is much easier. I mainly work in code view and I will drag the image from the files Panel to where I want to in my document. Simple

When I begin to insert an item, such as a header, using the Insert the Insert dialog box Panel is displayed in design mode. In this dialog box, there is a menu drop down insert. If I pick up after the beginning before the end of the tag or the tag in this drop-down list a second dropdown becomes available. It seems that in this second drop-down menu that you are supposed to be able to choose different tags. The problem is, no matter where I am clicked in the document, the only tag that never appears in the second drop-down list is < body >.

  

  I can do what I need in code view or mode live view, but it's bugging me.

  Figured out how to get something other than the body in the second dropdown. The second dropdown apparently shows that body and elements of ID

  It would depend on what you insert and where, because there is no hard and fast rule to insert html, if a part of the code is for the head, then he would go to headrest with metadata option, but if it is a plain insert html, so we can insert on a page using object > insert HTML code.

• CF extra addition &lt; html &gt;, &lt; head &gt; and the &lt; body &gt; tags pages

  I had problems with my titles not appearing is not on my pages of CF. Finally, I looked at the source of the page in the browser and found that CF is the extra insertion < html >, < head > and < body > tags at the beginning of the pages. (see examples below). I'm sure it's the CF engine that did this because I took a cfm page and just change the extension of html and everything worked fine (except the CF code). There is no additional tag inserted and the titles appear. I also noticed that the CF engine seems to be adding the first line <! DOCTYPE HTML... >

  Does anyone know why this might be happening?

  Take a look at your file Application.cfm or Application.cfc, you have probably the code in there (Application.cfc/cfm works first on each page request)
