It is for information purposes. I installed Acrobat plug today 10.1.3 and I get a blank tab while trying to open a PDF in Firefox 11.0. This plug in works in Safari. I've disabled the plug into Firefox and installed the extension form PDF viewer 0.2.537 Mozilla and open documents. I just wanted to tell you someone1.3

If you want to use Adobe Acrobat, you can simply change the preference that has messed up:

Go to Firefox > Preferences > Applications and search for "PDF file".

Beside that, select use Adobe Acrobat (or use the preview) rather than Adobe Acrobat NPAPI 10.1.3

Adobe NPAPI plug-in does not work on Firefox 64-bit... There's probably a bug where the Adobe Reader update puts this preference.

    Hi timr22708473,

Acrobat 7 is really an old version of acrobat & might not be compatible with your system configuration to features may or may not work.

This is the reason why Adobe recommends always using the application in a consistent environment.

  • Error 1935 when installing Acrobat Pro XI

Hello. I get the following error when trying to install Acrobat Pro XI:

    Adobe Acrobat Pro XI (11.0.17)

Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component

    {9718BF1D-6A9F-3406-A992-630F7EF2F164}

    HRESULT: 0 X 80070308

This happens within our company on all machines. Initially, I tried with 11.0.16 and now with the latest patch. It worked for years until the beginning of this week and now he failed at least 50 machines. Also, on some machines I've known, worked previously, was installed a version of Acrobat Pro (updated 13) suddenly is no longer. My guess is Symantec (they broke Firefox over the weekend) or a patch from Microsoft, although no patches were released over the weekend in our environment. Everyone knows this?

Figured it out! There is a MS update stuck there. I followed the advice here and it has cleared up.

I tried to reinstall the original Visual C++ files and they with a similar error. In the text search, I came across the site I linked above.

Thank you very much for the help.

After entering the serial number x' are, you will be asked (with a drop-down menu) to select the eligible program (acrobat 9).  Select acrobat 9 and enter the serial number its (acrobat 9).

Enter the correct number at the right time and proceed with the installation.

Make sure you did more that 'try the link.  Make sure you have made the necessary changes or explain if you couldn't tick the box "any developer".

  • How to install Acrobat Pro DC (perpetual license) upgrade to Acrobat Standard DC (perpetual license)?

In may 2016, I bought and installed Acrobat Standard DC (perpetual license, v. 2015.006.30201) available for download from Dell's digital delivery, running on Windows 10.  At that time there I wasn't sure that I would need Acrobat Pro DC, but as a precaution, I checked with Ivan Adobe sales on 13/05/16 what Acrobat Pro DC Upgrade (perpetual license) would be upgraded Acrobat Standard DC (perpetual license).

In late August I bought Acrobat Pro DC Upgrade (perpetual license) as a package of DVD (part No. 65259139). Upon receipt of the package, I noticed the upgrade label, said that she would only install for users licensed of Acrobat Standard or Pro (version X.x or XI.x).  Before you open the package, 31/08/16 I still checked with Kelly (x 9036) and his supervisor in the field of after-sales service of Adobe products than the part above no. 65259139 will recognise and upgrade of Acrobat Standard DC (perpetual license) in Acrobat Pro DC (perpetual license).

Today, I opened the package and tried to install the upgrade, without success.  The Installer opens in mode configuration DC (Classic) Adobe Acrobat - Acrobat Pro DC - not to mention and it only offers the following program Maintenance options: modify, repair, or remove.  Change the option runs but leaves the existing DC to Standard of Acrobat (perpetual license) unchanged.  The repair option requires the addition of the Acrobat Standard DC (perpetual license) Setup disk.  I have the 24-digit serial number but no disc, since Acrobat Standard DC (perpetual license) has been downloaded.  I have not tried the Remove option, because there is no indication that the program will then install Acrobat Pro DC (perpetual license).

Please let me know the correct way, tested to install the upgrade in these circumstances.

This is discussed in detail over and fully answered in another thread: https://forums.adobe.com/message/9009206#9009206.

  • Why does my re-installed Acrobat print codes hidden carriage returns?

I worked happily with Adobe Acrobat for several years. Now, I had to buy a new computer and re - install Acrobat it is not working properly. Here are the facts: my old computer has Windows 7, my new computer has Windows 10. My version of Acrobat's Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard that I bought in 2010. It seems to be 32-bit, but I was not asked for a 64-bit version. The errors are:

    (1) when it creates the PDF the timeline saying wait for me because it is reading never goes away when the green line comes to the end.

    (2) when I opened the new pdf that I find some (not all) hidden codes that appear on my pdfs, for example carriage returns and codes related to the creation of boxes.

    (3) when I try again to create a pdf file, I get a different type of chronology which continues to repeat on the reading process.

    (4) I can not open then the new pdf until I have cancel the chronology of reading and if I then open the new PDF program locks up, producing an Acrobat screen with nothing visible on it, and I can't close the program.

Okay, I think that there are several different things going on here.

We would never call this last thing, a crash - this is when Acrobat disappears unexpectedly. We call cela a blockage, if Acrobat does not respond, or - if the answer but simply display a blank like that - something weird!

But there are several different issues here. Let us look at the extra paragraph marks. Please print a page of the editor on your own printer. You see the same notes on paper?

  • Installed Acrobat Pro DC and can not uninstall Acrobat Standard 9.5

downlaoded and installed ACrobat DC Pro and now I cannot uninstall v9.5 Acrobat Standard on my computer.

Ok.  Go to assume this is a Windows based machine on...

Unlicense Acrobat DC (so you don't "burn" a license.)

Uninstall Acrobat DC (programs & features).

    Reset

Try to uninstall Acrobat 9 (once again, programs & features).

Download and run the Adobe Reader Acrobat & Cleaner tool - Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs

    Reset.

Check that the A9 and assorted pieces is really gone.

Try to install ADC.  If it works, the installation of the license.

Another tool that I had a lot of success in cleaning after installs wandering and apps is Priform CCLEANER - CCleaner - optimization of the PC and cleaning - Free Download .  Use at your own risk, but as I said - I had a lot of luck with it.

    I hope this helps.
