Install Adobe programs on D drive

Hello world

I recently bought a new laptop that has a drive C and D. The C drive has only 50 GB of storage left, but the D drive has 960 GB of free. When I install the creative programs Cloud is possible to install on drive D to make sure that I don't run storage?

Thank you!

Hi Michaelm13886650,

Please see the FAQ section of this link: download and install Adobe Creative Cloud applications

NOTE: We suggest to install your application on the main drive, but you can configure the destination of installation of in creative cloud application preferences.

Please note that there will always be shared resources stored on your primary drive, more during the installation process will be also created temporary files on your main drive.

If you have already installed apps, you need to uninstall and make the changes to the location in Creative Cloud Desktop app after that reboot the machine and now reinstall your apps and you need to install on the new location selected.

Let us know if that helps.

Can I install Adobe Reader on one drive other than the C: drive?

    Hello

Welcome to Adobe Community. Yes, it can be installed on a different drive. Although some of the files installed by this last will be always installed on the C: drive.

When you run the Setup program, use "Change destination folder" at the bottom of the Panel

If you have Adobe Reader is installed on the C: drive, you must uninstall it before installing a new version to a different location.

    Thank you!

  • Installed Adobe on the K drive, now my computer has assigned portable K:\ drive to my hard drive. I am reader not valid error 1327 J:\.

Last year I buy Nero software, and it was installed on my laptop hard drive which has been J:\.  Now for some reason, my computer has received a portable K:\ drive on my hard drive.  So, when I try to open the program, it gives me drive not valid error 1327 J:\.  He also stated that there is insufficient space in J:\, AND it gives me a message "fatal error in installation.  Why he did it assign a different drive letter?

I don't know how to change the registry, because I'm sure that WHAT I have uploaded in this device will give me a similar error code when I try to use it.  Help!

    original title: problems in car

    Hello

You must be sure that programs use the drive letter that you define or
you will need to change it back when needed. The latter would be the
more great pain in the long term.

Most programs allow you to change the data reader. If the reader is a program
installed on and then after he moved to the drive letter, you will need to re - install the
    program.

    I hope this helps.

  • I can't activate my Adobe Audition 3.0.  I installed the program from my drive.  The program works. I have the serial number.

I bought the program 5 years ago.   My computer crashed and I move the program to the new hard drive.    It is installed.    Whenever I start the program I get the message to activate.   But it will not be activated.  I have the original disc and the serial number.

The direct link to the instructions from Adobe is HERE: error: "Activation Server unavailable". CS2, Acrobat 7, pass a hearing 3

As Steve says, you must uninstall your existing discs, software and then download and install the version on the page above.  Note that this page is about everything in the CS2 package, so you need to scroll a bit to get to the hearing.

A small number of people have problems with this system and the related FAQ Steve to the above includes instructions for some changes of registry fix that... but most people can just follow the Adobe pages.

  • Force Windows 7 to install new programs on specific drives/folders

Help? Don't know why or even if it is an option with Win7 Pro (64), but I would like to force all the new program installed to a drive location and or a specific folder. Is this possible? The system drive is limited in space (60g) and I have additional disks formatted and available on the system, but I can't seem to find the answer.

    Suggestions?

Horrible problems. There are tons of pointers in the registry that you miss. Maybe you should consider replacing the system with a bigger disk. You can clone on a new and most important player if you do not have to worry about this. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Try to install a program Adobe of CC (CC is on a network drive)

So I will try to explain the best I can.  Under the terms of our license to Adobe, we have enough to cover all the computers in our facilities.  When recreate us the image on computers it installs the Adobe Basic programs that we need, but some members of the staff are in need of other ones we have access to but we install on a need.

And that's where the problem arises.  Most of the time, we install programs from the desktop remotely, rather than going from office to office for convenience, but if we are in the office or on the remote desktop we noticed that programs will not install.  We have the creative cloud install files on a network drive that we use for all our other install Adobe programs, but it seems that those creative cloud just will not install.

To be more precise now we tried to install InCopy and start the installation program, then he would invite, he's going to need an update which should restart the system which we continued with, but then the progress bar fill up completely and then the dialog box disappears and nothing else would happen, or the progress bar would go back down and then the dialog should disappear.  I do not usually install Adobe products, but a colleague of mine who works with this problem says it is across the Board when it comes to install anything in the folder of creative cloud.

They say that it might have to do something with an update for Adobe is not only the plant or one within the Windows system; Although I don't think that this is the case since we are trying to install on different Windows OS computers (Windows 8, Windows 7 32/64 bit 64-bit Windows 8.1 64bits).

So I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the subject, or if someone had patches.

    Hi Jonathan,.

You must user Adobe creative cloud Manager package that creates an installation package and deployed to the computers of the users. I guess, you install Adobe creative cloud application of office from a network drive that is not recommended.

-Did you do changes on the computer before this problem?
