  I think you don't understand how to work the serial numbers.

  For every purchase of the software, you get a license (a serial number). This serial number is unique to you and should be used every time that you install the software.

  A serial number to activate the software on two different computers at the same time.

  So, in your case, you download the software application download Creative Suite 6

  Install and enter your serial number. You don't need a new serial number or another. Just use the one you have. The one you have is related to a number of activations on Adobe server.

  You are allowed to have two facilities activated, so it shouldn't be a problem with facilities to work on both machines.  If by chance you somehow tied up two activations for a machine you can have Adobe support help solve this cat thrue.

  The amount of the fine to have both versions installed on your computer. CS6 version can coexist with a CC version without causing any problems. Sometimes it takes two versions to work with multiple clients.

  No, you can use the serial number again on the same computer while reinstalling the program.

  I think that you download TWO files... the EXE file and the "payload" folder... and you run the EXE file that does all the work for you

  To disable you normally just open one of the programs of the suite and select help-> disable.  You are allowed to have enabled facilities on two machines, so if you have only one now you can keep it as a backup if you wish.

  your screenshot shows no option of activation and deactivation function is clickable, which also means that your product is activated.

  and Yes, you can install other versions of cs and they all work without problem.  (adobe acrobat is the only adobe program which is problematic if more than 1 version).

  I recently bought a new Macbook Air. My other computer is a Mac Mini - and I have a purchased version (and licence) of Adobe Web Premium on this machine. I want to put this software on my new laptop - which does not have a CD/DVD drive.

  I went to my Adobe account to view orders history - but there is nothing there. In my products, my license appears - but I can't figure out how to download it on my laptop.

  If anyone can help with this? I don't understand why this product is not showing in my order history. I bought it in November 2010.

  The best way to remove them is before installing the new version.  Still, there may be a few shared respource you might eventually withdraw when you install older versions after the news.  Your safest bet is to just uninstall and reinstall what you intend to keep in order of oldest to newest.

  You can always try and see if you can get away with uninstalling the old stuff without uninstall, but enter in that you know the potential consequences.
