Error cartridge DesignJet 450 c

Hello

I read through both manual & all over the forums and have tried many things to fix my problem, but now I'm confused and hope someone here can help me.

I have a designjet 450 c, which was very much the impression for a year each time that I would need to print.  Recently, the dreaded cartridge light started flashing and stopped printing to the printer.  After much research, I tried the following things to correct this problem:

1 reinstalled software - thought maybe a driver corrupted, but this does not solve my problem.

2. cleaned contacts on door - photo didn't solve the problem.

3 deleted & reintegrated cartridges (should have started here everything first) - all confirmed except yellow.

4 used the magenta cartridge to test the yellow slot - it confirmed.

5 taking the view that the carrier should work correctly, I bought a new 'HP 44"yellow cartridge.

6. install new cartridge but the carrier has not confirmed the cartridge.  Retries step 4 above again and confirmed the magenta.

7 clean the contacts on the new yellow and reinserted it but still don't confirm not.

Could I have received a bad cartridge or could there be a problem between this old printer & how HP is making it their new cartridges.  Help, please!

  • DesignJet 450 c precision cal

My designjet 450 c did not finish the calibration of precision. On startup, I get the ready error lights indicating the need for calibration of precision media + data.  Press cancel-no additional errors. Restart service mode 2.  Print calibration sheet.  He accepts the media when I reload the calibration sheet.  It begins in the calibration.  The transport made exactly 5 scans of the first black bar and then returns to the position of service.  The media lights and the calibration sheet is ejected.  I tried this several times calibration I'm willing to admit with all types of media, including the mylar.  I did all the tests in both 1 and 2 without error service mode.  I cleaned the parts of the probe on the transport (deleted spitton to access).  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for the heads up. I'll take my problem on this forum

  • Cartridge error: cartridge on right must be replaced.

HP Officejet 6300, Windows XP, cartridge error: cartridge on right must be replaced.

I got this error message on the printer from my wife everything last, so I it network in my HP Photosmart C7100 to keep her going. After of course replace the cartridge of the printer on the right (black ink), he worked for a week, then started again the error message. I just searched the net for a solution and found the following amazing revelation

    http://www.brokenmind.co.UK/2009/05/22/cartridge-error-cartridge-on-right-must-be-replaced/

I tried the reset solution option I found there, but it did not work. After searching around this forum, I hit on the idea of return to the old cartridge because I was convinced it was ink stay there, if I had kept. Hop, after a restructuring process, the printer is ready for action again.

This may or may not be a definitive solution. Who knows what next week will bring, but if someone has something to contribute on this error message, I would have.

The company that provided this cartridge not HP acknowledged that there is a bad reading on the chip and asked that I'm going through their reset process, i.e. to remove the cartridges, remove the power cable from the printer and leave it powered off for 10 minutes. Then reconnect and replace the cartridges again. It works no more.

The company indicated they now replace the cartridge of the free and return to the old one so they can inspect further. It's too good service from them. From this, we know now there is a fault with chips on the cartridges from a source of the problem. Of course HP could also say to use the original cartridges and you don't have the problem at all, or at least the cartridge is certainly out of ink and needs to be replaced.

  • Error cartridge on the Dell 946 printer all in one

I get an error "cartridge #1203" and I can't understand what it is.  I replaced the cartridges, restarted the printer, tried new cartridges, etc... and I don't know what means this error.  any ideas?

Error 1203 is an interesting error code. Here's what I discovered on error 1203

It is average your cartridges of overflow of nine cartridges after a several impressions or all after you filled cartridges. Check to see if the ink are smeared on the holder where the contact panel with the cartridge. I have the same problem which I think lexmark has a problem and forget.

    Solution:
I use the klennex with a few drops of water to moisten and cleanse back them on my printer work and support.
The charging of ink work very well if you let it sit 24 hours. Then before you print anything, you must run aligned the cartridges once or twice then run once or twice cleaning cartridges.
Print the test page to see how it's look and the way you're going.
Be sure to not leave the debris of the klennex on the door panel.

To reset the error code, unplug the power cord to the wall. Also remove the power brick to the back of the printer for 60 seconds. Then connect everything again.

Dell series 5 ink cartridges have a sensor to them that cannot be reset. Article on Dell ink cartridges filling .

Dell series 5 ink cartridges can be purchased at Staples, Wal-Mart or any Dell website.

  • HP designjet 450 c

At my work we use an hp designjet 450 c printer and upgraded to windows 7 is there a way to get a driver for it that is compatible with windows 7, that the owner does not want to buy a new monitor.

Is the 32-bit or 64-bit operating system? What is the size D or E size 450 c?  For 32-bit systems, download the drivers for XP from HP here.  For 64-bit systems, you can Download the XP x 64 drivers from here, then unzip the files into a new folder.  Then go to the file devices and printers, add a printer, select the appropriate port, and then select "Have disc" and point to the folder where you unzipped the files.

This forum focuses on the level of consumer products.  For the Designjet you can have better results, post it in the forum HP Designjet business here.

The only thing I can think is that the driver is not for a x 64 system.

Oops - that's a critical piece of information missing there, whether you use a x 64 system.  You will need the x 64 version of the driver, which I have never found.

Edit - I don't know how I missed this one, it is and should install on your x 64 system.  Download the driver here. Drivers installed properly on my Windows 7 x 64 system.

  • HP Officejet 6500-message of error: cartridge seems to be corrupted or missing

I replaced my yellow cartridge before he told me. Now it gives me an error message it seems to be damaged or missing. I even bought a new one and replaced it and still the error message will not go away. How can I solve this problem? It's a new cartridge and it is making my printer just does not work. Help!

Thanks for the suggestion! I spent hours trying to solve the problem of error that says my new cartridges were damaged or missing. I finally removed the entire cartridge part and used wipes of alcohol and a q-tip. Wonders worked and works now. Thanks again!

  • Cartridge error: cartridge on left must be replaced.

I have an Officejet 6310 all in one. I only print in black ink and my color cartridge is empty. Is there a way to bypass the error message that I receive? The printer will not print anything right now. I am ready to throw this thing and get a Lexmark!

The cartrdige is empty would not cause printing to be blocked on this model, but if it is not electrically you will get this message.  The problem can help to clean the contacts of the cartridge as shown here .

To be printed (do not copy) you may be able to print reserve mode by removing the color cartridge.  Some all-in-one models do not support this feature, I'm not sure August Officejet 6310.

  • error cartridge hp6500 'missing or damaged '.

My hp6500 all in one printer has notified me that my black cartridge was empty. I replaced with a new HP cartridge and the Committee continued to show that the black ink cartridge was 'missing or damaged '. I went back to a new cartridge and gives it the same error. The last time I replaced this cartridge, I had the same problem but the 2nd cartridge worked very well. Are these re-manufactured cartridges. I guess the PIN conection is incomplete or the internal chip is faulty (if there is an internal chip). Can anyone suggest a solution or do I just keep turning them. Can't clear error and no black ink is printed. post or email me please.

    {Information}

Sorry I posted twice, was caught up in the record and did not think that the first post went through. I have not seen answers to questions/problems of anyones. Did someone get answers? I need to know if there are micro chips in these cartridges that may be a failure. If so, I'll just keep coming back until I get one that works. Can someone tell me if they have chips in them?

Upade 2: after that a few attempts to get printing started, including the re-dinette cartridges several times and turn off the machine. I turned it off for the day, cartridge return frustrated and committed to the 3rd the next afternoon.

Alto! This morning, I thought I'd give it more test. I turned on the printer and print a spreadsheet and everything was fine! I have to assume that there is some kind of time requirement to the power on/off sequence that forces the printer by an exercise of recalibration. That said, it just seems incomprehensible to me that HP will use its clients as their quality assurance organization and produce this lower quality cartridges that clients will have to spend 3 days just to get one to work.

  • HP 2300 error "cartridge not intended for this printer.

    Hello

I recently completed a 94 black ink cartridge and when I installed it, a message appeared: "black cartridge inserted now is not intended for use in this printer."  First and only time I had a reflilled of the cartridge.  How to operate?

Sounds like a user related error message. Unfortunately, some machines can detect if the cartridge has been tampered with or reused. For various reasons, reload a cartridge is not recommended because it may harm your machine. This error message indicates that the power connection is damaged, and probably the error will remain until a new cartridge is bought to replace the old.

I assure you that although the reloaded cartridges work much of the time, they have a failure rate much higer and the factors that can affect the mechanics of the machine at all times.

I would like to know if this is the information that you need!

  • A510 Photo smart printer: A510 Photo smart printer error: cartridge failed

This is actually the third part I write to.  I have not received all the answers in the other two sections, so I thought that maybe I posted in the wrong section.

I'll keep it quick.  I have a Photosmart A510 printer that I bought a new cartridge to 110.  When I put into the cartridge and turned on the printer, I get the following error: failure of the cartridge. Please replace the cartridge.

I followed the instructions of cleaning troubleshooting twice and still same message.

Is anyway to bypass this message?  It seems to be nothing wrong with the contacts on the cartridge, so I don't think it's defective.

If there is no way around, are there for the A510 disassembly instructions?  I am a + certified and has a printer tech so long and for another company, but I have a good idea of how work printers.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

    Hi reactorman,

I am happy to know that you have found a source for parts.  The path of a model full to use for parts may also be an option.  Just keep in mind the price for a new comparable unit because it is perhaps long term cheaper and a more long term solution.

I admire your courage and the ability to fix what you have!
