install app world 2.1.0.39 on simulator problem

Hi, I'm playing with the app in payment system but having problem installing app world version 2.1 + on the Simulator.

What is the correct procedure to present an update to the Simulator? For the moment, I'm just the download and installation of the update the same to me on the real device.

Please help me! Thank you!

Found the solution! Just in case someone else wondered in the future, all you need to do is goto inside your browser Simulator blackberry.com/appworld/download, then install it normally but don't restart. He will remain in the Simulator until you run clean.bat

  • What OTA install different to install App World

    Hi BlackBerry developers,.

I wonder about the differences between the two paths of an app update - via OTA and via App World.

What I've done the research so far, it seems OTA installation clears incompatible persistent data and uses JavaLoader. App World doesn't do the same?

    Thank you!

Based on tests on board in this post (http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Java-Development/Custom-Persistable-incompatible-OTA-install-...)

App World and OTA seem everyone has its own incompatible persistent data management mechanism. If the upgrade is done in the same mechanisim that install the current version of the application, installation will succeed. However, if the mechanism of installation is different, then an uninstall is required before installation.

  • BlackBerry App World Smartphones do not install

    Hello

I just bought a Blackberry Storm and was looking forward to using the App World. When I try to install App World via the computer or my phone it says that my phone is not compatible with the App World. I find it strange because my phone is in conformity with the specifications since it has the SurePress 4.7, touchscreen software and I'm in the United Kingdom.

I'm on Vodafone and I get unlimited Internet so I don't see what the problem is.

    Thank you

I've got it sorted. I had to ring to the top of my contract provider and ask to register my SIM for blackbery internet. Once this is done, I was bale to download the app world.

I reinstalled via 'http://ca.blackberry.com/apps/blackberry-world/download.html'.  Everything was going well an installation process, but it does not solve the problem.

I did the usual, including the "pop drums" restarts, but to no avail.

    Hey docollyer,

    Thanks for the reply.

I would suggest to create a backup of your data through BlackBerry Desktop Software (device > backup).  When finished, and then follow the steps in this Article: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB14058 and test BlackBerry World before you restore all the data.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • BlackBerry Smartphone App world icon is missing from my home screens and download

I've upgraded to Blackberry App World version 4.0.0.63 on my Blackberry Bold 9780 yesterday. After re-booting the phone, my App World icon was suddenly missing from my home screen. It was not on my download screen. I could also find when you do a search for App World. I reinstalled from the Blackberry App World site. I always had the same problem. Then a friend suggested I have uninstall App World of settings: device: application management: Blackberry App World - and selecting delete in Options. I did this - and then re-installed App World AGAIN on my phone from the Web site. And the problem still persists. Do I really have App World on my phone or not? If I have it on my phone, how and where can I find the icon - so I can place on my home screen.

Please advice or try to fix this error because it's annoying me a lot. I'm not able to install any application. Help, please

    Hello!

Well, a few days ago RIM BlackBerry faced such a problem with the new BlackBerry App world.

But still, there is an alternative.

Connect your device with the USB cable to activate Internet computer laptop / desktop, then click on the following link:

    http://appworld.BlackBerry.com/WebStore/

At the top right, there is a sign in option, the connection with your Blackberry ID.

And now, you can download the app even through your laptop/desktop computer for your device.

If you always want to do directly with your device, then keep trying by clicking Yes on the update of BlackBerry ID, once it is made 100% your device will restart and will allow you to download directly via your device as well.

I hope that solves your problem!

Sorry for the late reply, I've been away for a few days.

I think that your device operating system may be corrupted. You can try the following:

    1. Backup cell phone: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB12487
    2. Backup 3rd party applications: http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-back-up-3rd-party-applications-53201/
    3. Perform a new installation of your operating system: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320

You can restore the 3rd party applications using Add/Remove program and accessing the file alx for step 2: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15172

Try to install app world now.

  • Applications of archived Smartphone App World blackBerry missing in My World after the operating system upgrade

Today, I upgraded my Sprint 8830 of OS v4.5.0.135 to v4.5.0.175 of the OS.  Everything seems fine, except that none of my archived apps that I got from BB App World are appearing in my world, even if the files are still on the SD card.  In fact even the apps that I've installed and running do not appear in my world!  I turned off my BB, pulled the battery and rebooted but that did not help.  Also tried to uninstall and re-install App World - still nothing.  Any ideas?

    Thank you!

Ahhh... the question arises of the root! For the visibility of paid apps installed (or archived or deleted) will be Ouvrezunesession AppWorld successfully. Sometimes she also displays then previous free apps - but who should never be counted on. Without logging, AppWorld is often present (but never showing paid apps) - free applications, but usually only those installed since the last installed AppWorld. However, even once, should not count on AppWorld retaining information about the free apps.

Here is what I suggest - check your PayPal account... Log in since a PC/browser and make sure that the credentials you are using are the same as those that allows you to connect to MyWorld. Also to ensure that the credit card that you have set to PayPal is current and valid.

If none of this works, you must open a ticket with RIM AppWorld formal support... to do this, follow these instructions exactly. Reach:

and complete the form. Use, in the "Please select a component:"on the ground, AppWorld billing/payment selection. " Any other setting routera simply anonymously you on these public forums. If you do not have an "order number" for that field, just use whatever it is (for example, '123456'). If the shape responds by telling you that your PIN is not valid, please report this fact back here also there is a path separate resolution for this problem.

    See you soon!
