Install Apps on HDs Ext with different operating systems
HI -.
What is the process for installation across multiple operating systems multiple ext HDS connected to a computer?
I have several external hard drives with a Mac OS different on each connected to my Mac desktop to emulate environments with my clients. My internal HD is running 10.7.5, and I have a 2 TB with Mountain Lion installed external HD. I would like to know how to install the Adobe applications in each environment. Because I can never run multiple instances of the operating system at the same time, I can't be in violation of the EULA, ergo I think I should be able to install Adobe software on any of these HDs ext with only one license.
Thank you.

You can install a million times until you bleed your ears, but you can never activate 2 installs with a single license. Do not hesitate to turn on and off according to your needs.

How to install apps from language English with different language operating system?
Dear experts,
I just bought Adobe CC and downloaded the installer CC.
I can not install Illustrator in English, because only it installs it automatically in Hungarian (it's the language of Windows 7).
I tried to put
Preferences / applications / settings / App Language International English and Illustrator reinstalled and updated, but
It is still in Hungarian.
Could you please help me how to uninstall and reinstall in English, please?
Thank you
Zoltan

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your reply. I have an active subscription - only just managed to solve the problem using the Adobe customer service.
Basically, I had to uninstall Illustrator and creative cloud Installer, then deleted all the files of Adobe and reinstalled the software.
Before you download anything, I had to set up the ' preferences/Apps/App language' to English International, because it automatically turns on the language of the operating system.

have 2 hard drives with different operating systems on them
I'm upgrading. I took a hard drive from another pc. It has windows vista on it. Am using another hard drive with XP on it as a slave. But it does not recognize 2nd hard drive other than a shortcut that my friend created. I think it has to do with group policies in Vista? Or the 2 operating systems will not play nice with them? I can't reformat the drive until I get back to the top on them.
Finally, I plan to each drive to reformat, but want to back up each drive, so I can't reformat now
Do you not normally take a hard drive with an installed operating system, on a single computer and put it in another for a start of it.
You can ask yourself all sorts of problems.
Motherboard drivers are involved for each computer, they are installed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And there are rules of licensing:
If your computer is pre-installed with Vista or if it was an OEM drive, that you bought, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.
The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptopIf a license of Vista at retail, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
But it can only be installed on one computer at a time..
"two disks with different operating systems.
I have Windows 7 Professional on 'C' drive and installed Windows XP Mode on the "D" drive, but I have trouble with my programs running on XP Mode. Can I remove XP Mode of the "D" drive and install Windows XP Professional on that drive "D"? So I multi boot?
My Documents folder and the folder image in Windows 7 is on the "D" drive where I want to install Windows XP Professional. Is there a problem with that?
I read that you can not install Winidows XP on the same drive where Winidows 7 is already installed, that's why I inistall Windows XP on a separate disk.
Thank you
Additional license for different operating system?
I have Lightroom 5.7 on my home PC, running Windows 7. I intend to get a small laptop for travel, maybe a Macbook Air. I have to pay for another license for the different operating system?
If you have only 1 installation, you don't need a separate license. If I remember correctly 1 license should support 2 computers, a laptop and a desktop computer with different operating systems.
Hi all
I recently installed a mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R SoC V1.004. The game won't start not even, instead, it gives me the following message:
This application is not compatible with the operating system installed.
Please upgrade to Windows 98SE, Windows 2000 or more.I'm under Win 8 64 bit. I have uninstalled and rebooted twice (both game and mod) does not.
I have to downgrade to XP to be able to play this awesome mod, he ran on this platform with the same configuration before, why he now rejects it know not only the people at Ms.
Please help if possible
Thank you very much
Pierre Viljoen
Probably, all in all probably is a 16-bit program, and as such does not work on Windows 8.0/8.1 64 bit. In addition, the game seems to have 20 years or more. You can try running in compatibility mode, but I think that the game is dead. Hope this helps and if you need help please post and we will be happy to help you.
No operating system
Hello
I bought a second hand computer and there is no backup of the operating system CD. He had problems with the operating system start so I wiped it, but now I have to re - install.
Would it not possible to obtain another copy of the operating system for that computer?
All the best
Hello
These are forums for Vista, so vista information is provided
Here are the different ways to reinstall Vista
Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it
they do it for a nominal cost of $
____________________________________________________________
also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought
you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer
Ask them of the exact key sequence
__________________________________________________________
or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc
Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer
they contain all versions of vista
This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed
Why the books are grouped and preinstalled with the operating system?
It's complaints
My Portege has Windwosw Vista. I didn't want to buy Vista, but they were only selling with him and no other choice was possible to purchase.
First of all, my laptop had problems to install Windows updates. I could not connect my institution's Internet System. I had to reinstall the system again.
It's a waste of time!After re-installation of the button for the sound on the outside Panel does not work correctly.
Also, when I try to stop the laptop sometimes it restarts itself - he doesn't stop!
Secondly, I had a problem with the laptop, when an opportunity to visit a well-known site, it serves to block itself.
Once, when he is blocked, I had to restart and its screen remained black. They took for repair. It was delivered later - repaired, but with a defect on the screen!
What a... workers!When I bought this laptop he had an offer with the update of Vista with Windows 7 after their release.
Wonderful. But just note, Toshiba has the highest price of the offer, compared to its competitors - 30 (or £) against 15 for others, which of course I'm not going to pay.I already paid for Vista, which is incredible, and I knew, but I had not choice not to buy!
All right, so there is still competition in the market, several possibilities are present - install Windows cracked, switch to Linux or just buy an Apple!
Please, take this comment seriously! And please, stop with group buying, no matter what the benefit is. It won't work for long.
Hi mate
Fact is that most of the laptop manufacturers sell the computer and laptop computer with a preinstalled operating system. So I wouldn't blame Toshiba or other brands for which
You get a new computer/laptop with a new OS.
During the past 20 years, Microsoft released 3.0 Win, Win 95, Win 98, Win NT, W2k, Win XP, Win ME, Vista and Win 7, I remember that all my computers or laptops were grouped with these operating systemsToshiba offers the notebook with a clean image and you can also create a recovery disk (so don t need to buy anything if you need t n)
Of course, each of us can install a clean OS, but there are a lot of people who are happy with such image pre-installed because everything is pre-installed and configured.Many people have no knowledge of computer wide and are really recognizing that everything is pre-installed and the configuration does not have a lot of time
With regard to the question of the laptop;
What to say; you had a bad luck that something was wrong with the laptop. This can still happen that my new LCD TV other manufacturer, was dead after two weeks, I called ASP, then replaced the screen now is ok -
Reinstall WIN XP SP3 to new computer with no operating system
I would like to move my WIN XP SP3 old laptop with no operating system
Thank you
Go to your computer manufacturer's support web site
and search for the Windows XP drivers for your specific computer or motherboard model number.If there are Windows XP drivers, then download to a folder on your hard drive and burn it to a CD/DVD.
Then, after installing XP on your new computer install all device drivers, starting with the mother/chipset, LAN, Audio, USB, SATA card, drivers, and so on.Notes:
If there is no XP driver not listed that your computer is not compatible Windows XP.
You must uninstall the old computer XP, if you plan to use the same XP product key.
original title: log question.
When I try to connect my computer with XP operating system, I get this error message to: rund1132.exe and cannot log out. How can I fix?
Hi KERRYYX,
- Did you the latest changes on the computer?
- When was the last time it was working fine?
- You have security software installed on the computer?
- What is the full error message that you receive?
- Are you able to restart and shut down the computer?
It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.
I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.
To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
See section to learn more about how to clean boot.
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353
Reset the computer to start as usual
When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
(a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
(b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
(c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
(d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.
You cannot log off, restart or shut down your Windows XP-based computer
How can I get rid of windows 7 without deleting it and istalling a different operating system?
How can I get rid of windows 7 without deleting it and istalling a different operating system? I remember on xp, I couldn't allow him to function as a windows 95 or 98, if I wanted to. I just want my computer works like windows xp.
So can YER a little confused you explain a little better please.
OR
do you mean get W7 to resemble the way XP worked?
In this case (start base fast and simple):
- try to set a theme for a basic/classic theme - more like 98 then XP well.
- Download (AV Control) and then use "classic shell" - menu style old XP.
- Ditto for "explore classic" mentioned on this site.
- Set the control panel to use the icons (small or large) as opposed to categories.
But its still W7 in disguise.
Is that the sort of thing you mean?
If so, personally, I think its better to stick with W7 and get used to. I bet you will love windows 8 :)
