  I just wanted to know that is it possible to install Oracle 9i on Windows Server 2008... It is supported on Server 2008...
  
  I surfed on the internet for more information about this and what I received was that Oracle 9i is not supported on 2008...
  What then... and cela means that I need to install a newer version of Oracle on Windows Server 2008... ??

• Unable to connect laptop Win 7 to Server 2008R2

  I have a company laptop that is configured to connect to a Server 2003 domain, when I'm at the office and a separate remote desktop connection.

  Here, at home, I have a server 2008R2 with another domain box.  I have another office here connected to this area, so I know that it can be found.  All the these are connected to the switch came.  All three boxes can access the internet.

  When I try to join the domain of origin (HomeDomain.local\Chris), I get an error that could find no server logon.

  Can I network card and see everything except the server.  Indeed, the server cannot see the laptop, but the laptop can not see the server.  Weird... it is all connected to the same switch, which is connected to a wireless router.

  Any ideas?

  Hi, at the launch of anc IIS tries to connect to the local server, I got an error message saying "this computer is not running IIS 4 or higher. I have IIS 5.1 on Win XP machine and it works before. I tried to add/remove programs windows and tried to install IIS million times and do not "make it work. Please advice.

  I installed a server 2008r2 x 64 business in esxi 4.1.

  If I connect to the server with vSpehere, my image is all lagg and my moces mouse very slow and bumpy.

  However, if I contact the server through Ms RDP, it not there no problem at all.

  I have this problem with the server 2008R2 no problem what so ever with any other OS' are.

  The server specifications

  MSI k2-104-a3q

  2 x opteron 2356

  4x4GB ddr2 ecc reg

  The host of the server 2008r2 with 2 hearts and 3 GB of ram asigned.

  I hope that there will be someone who knows how to solve this problem.

  As much as I know Win server 2008 is not supported by Toshiba, so you will not be able to find the drivers for it. Toshiba offers support for OS preinstalled only and possibly an upgrade if your laptop model is supported for the new OS.
  Warranty has nothing to with Win server 2008 so I think that guys will not be helpful for you. What they can do is to check if the original recovery image can be installed or not. If this is not the case, there may be a hardware problem.
