  I have a PC Compaq Presario SR2027X a/w Win XP Media Center Edition SP3 installed.  I downloaded and installed the Microsoft Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to determine if WIN 7 would go on my system.  The airport of Win 7 Upgrade Advisor said that I could install Win 7.  I bought Win 7 32 bit and 2-1 GB PC5300 memory sticks.  I first installed the memory and booted up the system.  Everything worked well.  BIOS has seen the new memory and I have not encountered any error.

  I then turning the system off and removed the HDD (120 GB Sata).  I installed another hard drive (160 GB Sata) which had been restructured and ready to use.  The BIOS detects the hard drive and the BIOS has been changed for a start of the OPTICAL drive.  I then placed the WIN 7 32-bit software disk in the OPTICAL drive and saved the changes in BIOS and rebooted the system.  I was expecting to see the normal WIN 7 screens during the installation.  Instead, I got "NTLDR is missing, press CTRL + ALT + DEL to restart".

  Then I tried pressing ESC during boot to enter the boot menu.  Once in the boot menu, I select the optical drive and now I get the message "DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND press ENTER".  I opened and close the optical drive optical drive light lights up, and I then press on enter.  I get the same message on "DISK BOOT FAILURE,...» ».

  I built more than 40 PC and have never had this problem.  Is there something unique about Compaq/HP PC's that prevents me to install WIN 7 on another hard drive that is not the original hard drive came with this pc?

  I think that your problem is due to a failure of CD/DVD drive or disk installation of Windows 7 corrupt or unbootable. Please check that the CD/DVD drive is fully functional and functional as should be.   I have a mess.  I installed a new external hard drive more and all my files pro FCP move toward her.  I also want to delete unnecessary files to free up space.  I bought a cool program Final Cut Library Manager and was able to easily move all my libraries to the new drive.  I organized my new drive in folders, IE. Cup 2014 final, Final Cut 2015, Final Cut 2106 I my libraries in the years I've done them.  I libraries moved but I still all those other files on the old hard drive and I don't know what to do.   I have a folder named "Final Cut Library" and it is 500 GB in size.  Within the limits it are named Final Cut optimized Media, original Final Cut and Final heart Proxy Media media.  Can I just delete all of them in the finder?

  Assuming that the middle is inside the library, just copy it to another disk and remove it from the SSD. It must be a Mac disk in format.

  You should never get too low on your space of hard drive as the OS needs a minimum 10-15 GB of free space at any time to work properly. So, if you do any movie or image/photo, rendering and editing editing works best if you have at least as much vacuum you have temporary files in your project. I can easily raise 100 GB or more temp. files for a one hour film HD, so I keep a lot of empty hard disk space.

  In order to get a few things on your hard drive, the usual space hoggers are therefore, movies, photos, etc. You can move all those who in their library on an external hard drive, and after having checked they are working, delete them from your hard drive.

  Generally, the application work better if they are installed on your internal hard drive; I'm not a gamer, so I'm not familiar with the specifics of the game you're talking about. Search on Google, I couldn't find any reference to the Macs on their website - here, it shows the platforms it is compatible with:

  I just bought a new Toshiba Portege R500 notebook - 12 H with Windows Vista, and I would like to format the hard drive and install Windows XP instead.

  I have a Windows XP CD (the one from my old PC), I insert the disk and start the laptop computer on the installation of the Windows XP CD to load, I get the screen asking me "push F3 to quit, entry to install XP" (as usual).
  But when I click on 'install', it says no hard drive has been detected, and I wonder if I have any additional drivers.

  How is it possible that my 120 GB HD is not detected? It is in a format that does not know Windows XP? Can I get a driver, how can I install it? Can I upgrade the bios?
