Install the CS6 new Mac
I try to install my CS6 already bought on a new MacBook Pro. I downloaded it, but when I try to install, it asks the serial number. When I enter the serial number it says ' serial number you provided is valid, but calling it a product was not found on this computer. " (Not surprising because it's a NEW COMPUTER with OS of Yosemite and virtually no software on it). He said, "to use this serial number, you must have one of these qualifying products." The product to choose are Adobe Design Standard, CS5.5, Adobe Design Standard CS6, Adobe Design Premium CS5.5, Adobe Master Collection CS5.5 and Adobe Master Collection CS6 none that I have EVER owned!
It is my understanding that I can install the software on two computers used only by me. What should I do so that he can install (or upgrade of the trial which was installing Finally - I get the same error message, so be it).
He promises that if I have problems I can contact Customer Support, but this brings me in circles. I will continue to try to contact customer support. I have struggled with this for hours and have no idea how to proceed. Help, please.
OK, here's the secret. My serial number is a number of upgrade. I had to uninstall the trial version and reinstall it from the installer that was always on my computer. I'm in CS6 serial number and the message: "serial number you provided is valid, but calling it a product was not found on this computer." I had to choose "Adobe Design Standard CS5.5' in the menu drop down and enter my serial number for this product (which was not an upgrade). "Adobe Design Standard" is apparently the same thing as "Adobe Creative Suite".
It works. Thank you!

How to install the CS6 for Mac on Windows? [was: I think]
I PSCS6 on a computer, a Mac. I would like to install the program on a laptop PC. In my view, we can install the program on two computers. Can I download it but it's the Mac version, which will not be installed on the PC. Is it possible that Adobe won't let me change platforms on the allocation of "two computer?
If you have a Cloud account (subscription version), then the software is cross-platform licensed already.
If you have a perpetually licensed version (paid full from the start), then the license is platform specific and relates to your Mac.
There is a process of exchange of platform but it's only for the current versions of software and is a permanent exchange from Mac to Windows, and vice versa.

IF El Capitan Mac read below
CS6 and previous programs have not been tested and will not be updated to run on Mac El Capitan
-which means you are trying to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems
-You can get CS6 and previous programs to install and run, or you can not (some do, some don't)
-IF not, Details of the message from the error messages and a person may be able to help (just not Adobe)
Maybe it's a fake because of Mac El Capitan and OLD programs error
This information is a MUST to install old programs on Mac El Capitan

CS6 got on my windows computer and do not turn it off before you uninstall. I now having trouble installing on my new Mac. Can you advise me please what I should do?
Thank you
You are allowed to have the software installed and enabled on both machines, but these two machines must use the same platform (PC vs Mac) for the Creative Suite software. If your software is the PC version so it will not be installed on a Mac. You can cross-grade version of the platform - and since you're dealing with CS6, it is possible (not for earlier versions). You should get disabled PC Setup. To do that you need to contact Adobe technical support by chat or phone - they take care of it.

Hello I have a creative suite 5.5 and I installed on my new mac and it disabled the old but its always asking me to disable another computer how can I fix this problem
I can't work on my new mac because of this problem
Deactivation requires the opening of the program and choosing the option deactivate. If you uninstalled only the applications, which did not turn them off. Try to contact Adobe support via chat and ask them to reset all the your activations.
To the link below, click on the still need help? the option in the blue box below and choose the option to chat...

In order to use it on Mac, you will need to purchase another license for Mac.
Purchase CS 6 Creative Cloud now includes Creative Suite Master Collection and Design Premium features
Or, you can go for creative cloud that you can use on both machines Alternately, one at a time. Pricing and membership creative cloud plans | Adobe Creative Cloud

During installation, you will be asked to enter the serial number CS6, after that you will be asked to insert the previous version, the serial number of qualification, at the moment, you must enter the serial number CS5 & he'll be installed & activated.
You don't need to install the CS5 on the new computer, you can directly install CS6.

How long can you install the CS6 pack with the same serial number?
How long can you install the CS6 pack with the same serial number?
I have a new computer and you want to install it again.I already install twice because I needed to re - install on my old.
you are allowed to two simultaneous activations.
If you disable (help > deactivate) a previous activation, you can keep your two simultaneous activations and essentially install/activate an unlimited number of times.

When installing the CS6 Apps via creative cloud subscription, what should I do with my old CS4 applications always in my Apps folder?
After installing my first 2, AI, ID, I check the folder of the Application and the newly installed CS6 both my older versions of CS4 for each application are in the folder.
I just throw away the CS4 versions? If so, all my data created files will remain intact?
Someone please reply and help, instead, look just an appearing many points of view, show. Thank you!
Uninstall CS4 versions properly using the uninstall programs that come with them (aliases are in each of the directories of the apps). In addition, it works as it should - newer versions always leave former in place. If you will be able to open all your files CS4 in CS6 we do not know - Yes, newer versions should open older files, but you could use specific things that limit compatibility as some plug-ins which would need to be upgraded for CS6 as well. For this exact reason, you can keep CS4 around for a little longer, until you can be sure...

We installed the CS6 Suite on a computer lab. Now he opens that once then nothing opens
We installed the CS6 Suite on a computer lab. Now he opens that once then nothing opens
Our package is professional CC/CS6 Adobe. It is installed on Windows 7 PC.
We have built a machine and everything works fine on that.
We then used SCCM to capture and deploy an image from that of other PC
Every PC made in bulk their registration as the registration process is dependent on the computer
Solution was to deploy the license on each PC package after imaging.
This is the resolution of the problem
