  Recovery of my series of Adobe has been frank.

  Amnesty International, PS and ID agreed the serial number without problem.

  Acrobat Pro says that serial number is invalid.

  I spent two hours on the cat and in the end he said that the relief phase was not available for CS4, but was only available via online forums.

  I finally (after 5 attempts) through the swamp on the other side.

  Here's what I did...

  1 uninstalled all of the CS4 program.

  2. manually deleted the folder under Program Files Adobe

  3. Ran the CleanCS4 program, who told me that I had to run microsoft windows install clean up utility

  4. has opened a new Director on my office profile

  5 install CS4 here

  6 open photoshop

  7 open acrobat.

  (I think that's everything now works).

  There is no need to install anything else of CS5, even on a computer that has never had any installed Adobe software...

  The CS5 Installer file is the same for the upgrade and full versions. The serial number indicates the Setup program if it is complete or upgrade.

  When you enter your serial number CS5 upgrade, the CS5 Installer get a previous version of qualification already installed. When he finds nothing (in your case, it will not be), it prompts you to enter a serial number previous qualification.

  Enter your CS4 or CS3 (or what version you upgraded), and then the Setup will complete the installation of CS5.

  Yes, don't worry if you migrate to the same operating system (Mac or Win).

  Catalogue conversion works well.

  If you plan to migrate to another computer, you need to transfer your image files as your catalogs, which means that you can use the backup and restore method:

  Organizing moving items catalogue | Elements 6 or later version

  When you use this method, the restore process recognizes if the database version is the same. If it is newer, it invites you to convert the catalog after the restoration.

  To transfer the software elements itself, you will need to:

  -Use the Help menu > disconnect deactivate your license from the old computer

  -Reinstall the software

  -use the same menu to sign with your product license key.
