  You cannot uninstall a running operating system.  The best you can do is wipe the hard drive and start over, but which will also remove all programs and documents.

  1. What is the type of internet connection you use - wired or wireless?
  2. Do you get any error message when there is no internet access?
  3. What is the number of KB of the update, after which the internet disconnects?

  [To view your history of update:]
  a. Open Windows Update by sliding into the right edge of the screen (or, if you are using a mouse, pointing to the corner bottom right of the screen, move the mouse upward), touching or clicking on parameters, typing or clicking on Change PC, then type or by clicking on update and recovery.
  [ b. press or click on see your update history.]

  The question could arise if the specific update makes changes in the Windows network properties and the update package has been damaged. Other important reasons include the firewall from the security software, third-party software conflicts etc.

  In order to diagnose the problem, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

  Method 1:

• Windows XP hangs after installing the new drive hard & software

  My 20 GB hard drive was almost full and the computer (Dell GX240) has been slow, I installed a new 160 GB drive. After loading Windows XP, Linksys, McAfee, MS Office and MS Windows updates would crash randomly. Restart the system would allow him to run for a few minutes and then hang again.
  I reformatted the drive and partitioned to 80 GB and then reloaded all programs above with the same results.
  I reformatted back to 20 GB, loaded XP and Linksys and the same problem occurred.
  It seems that the internet has something to do with the problem.
  Any suggestions?

  XP can handle drives of 1 TB to NTFS without problem - it's the motherboard on computers more elders who may have problems, that it is not compatible LBA.
  There is really no need to partition the disk, but I would tend to opt for about 60 GB for the operating system and 100 GB of data and then move the folder My Documents (using the option in its properties) of the data partition. This allows to separate the data and programs and means a lot less work if a reinstall is needed.

  I'm trying to install Windows 8 Enterprise 64 edition to my desire X 2 b. I have my ISO file in DVD and USB, but when I boot to install, selecting DVD or USB before the HARD drive in the boot order, nothing happens and standard windows HARD disk starts. I try to choose my DVD or USB EFI but I do not see, I do something wrong? I know the USB and DVD is ok because I can install a folio 13 by applying the same USB without problem...

  Would it because they are 64 b W8? Is there a limitation in envy and only 32 b editions can be installed?

  Hello Vidya, thanks for your help. I used the download tool to create DVD and USB key. I still don't know why I can't install the USBs. I tried three different principles. None of them works.

  I created the media tools for recovering the W8 installed to a USB and this way that I boot BIOS and I DO not see the boot USB and the cab with him. If something happens when you create the USB support, the BIOS don't like them.

  But I managed to this editing Finally today. I disabled options in the BIOS (with USB power for charmge mobile while shutdown or Hibernate) USB charge and I don't know if it was the key or not, but today I was able to see the DV from the BIOS (a new device appears in the F9 options) and start it, I have a W8 PRO 64 bit installation , and it works. BUT I do ' t recommend it to everyone: no driver is available for 64-bit versions, and it seems that 32B drivers does not work on 64 edition b.

  After that, I installed the DVD edition 32B with a few problems because the drivers are not included and keyboard, mouse, touch screen, etc does not work, then everything first, you must install the chipset driver Intel webpage hp, after that, everything that start working.

  I'm going to mark it as resolved, for future reference of others with a desire to X 2. If someone of you has managed W8 Pro 64B installation please let me know!
