  First of all, I'm no expert, but I had exactly the same problem and did the following.  It worked for me:

  First go to this site: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/11.x/11.0.10/en_US/

  From this link I downloaded/installed the previous version of the US 11.0.10 of the drive.  Don't panic when it does not work... It gives the same error, BUT click Browse for button location and the AcroRead.msi file appears (should in any case).  Click top and then OK...

  After I installed the previous version, I then installed the new version of Acrobat Reader DC from here: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC install for all versions

  It removes the old version and install.  I hope this helps!

  Open windows control panel, open programs and features, make a right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select uninstall.

  Once done, restart the laptop.

  When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the link below.

  http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp67001-67500/sp67280.exe

  Yet once, once done, reboot the laptop.

  Well don't know what it was but I did an entire third site publish today and the problem disappeared.

• Impossible to uninstall after help file missing error.

  I tried to uninstall the program after an error that the help file is missing, so I could reinstall.  It will not uninstall and I can't re-install using the original CD.

  I got it fixed finally making your manual uninstall.  Had to remove several components in the registry before it would finally be reinstall.  Thanks for getting back to me.

  Something is apparently from Windows and failing. You should know that something is and troubleshoot accordingly.

  Start > run > msconfig [Enter]

  This will open the System Configuration utility. Look under the Startup tab and find the likely culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, apply and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but next time you do, you will get a dialog box saying that you have used the utility. Just check the box that says in effect, "don't mind to this subject again".

  Important - do not use the System Configuration utility to stop the process. Use rather Start > Run > services.msc [Enter] and stop all services unless you really, really know what you're doing.

  You seem to have deleted the necessary script files, or use scripts to a different version of Photoshop files (and it is the support necessary missing files).

  You can probably fix it by copying the entire folder settings presets/scripts of the copy that works (but make sure you copy all the third-party scripts may have installed).

  You can try this: go to settings/general/PC settings, scroll down and find refresh your PC without affecting your files (Refresh). I have not opened the file LR catalog of the workstation from the 3/10, but have used in on my laptop at all times. This will happen only the first time that the synchronization application runs after the update. This caused an understandable pain and confusion, for which we really apologize.

  Creative application Cloud Files contains a logic that supports the use of several Adobe ID. This allows to disconnect from an ID and in, but keeps the contents of your separate creative cloud. When you sign out and change identifiers, the app moves the previous creative Cloud Files folder and it's content and he adds with the already signed in ID (User@AdobeID).   I don't understand exactly how errors in the two newspapers are related, but my opinion is that, if I can solve my CheckSUR.log errors, CBS.log errors will disappear to, and then I might even be able to install SP1.

  For what is interesting, what I ended up doing to solve my problems was to re - install Vista with the 'upgrade' option, so I don't lose any of my files or desktop settings...

  After that, I had a few problems with my OS reinstalled with several (80 +) updates, SP1 and SP2 from catching up.  But overall these problems were minor compared to it, that I lived just to fix some missing files.
