Install Word 2007 on a Windows 7 Pro

I just bought a reconditioned Dell Latitude, running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  When I try to install Word 2007, I get the message "Microsoft Office Enterprise has encountered an error during installation.  Error 1719.  Windows Installer Service is not to be accessible.  This can occur if Windows Installer is not installed properly.  Contact your support team. »

Any ideas on how to go beyond that?  I have a Windows 7 Pro drive I used to install Windows 7 on my old computer, and I thought about the re-setup using this disk and the product key that came with my new computer, but this seems to be a fairly radical measure and I wanted advice before I tried.

Thank you!

I called the seller support staff, and after waiting on hold for some time, had my question answered, which was re - set the computer to factory settings, but then - without doing anything else - install Word.  I did, and it worked.  Then I installed a few other programs, and so good.

  • Need to download & install a new copy of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit for strongly modified pc OEM

Original of the hard drive has crashed, please download & install a new copy of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit on new SSD. I updated day/has replaced most of the OEM parts to 4 + years except for the motherboard, power supply, & tour. I don't have the old parts, sort of recovery disk installs not successfully because of all the improvements. Have drivers for devices newer than all existing parts on a USB ready when necessary. OEM is telling me to go up the PC with its original components to make it work, and I really don't need all the unnecessary software OEM includes in their recovery disk. Microsoft Download site does not allow me to download from a pc OEM product key. How to solve this? I'm always in the respect of the Windows license agreement, so I don't have to pay for it.  Please advise, thank you

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

  • HP Probook 4520 s installed new hard drive with Windows 7 pro x 64 and drivers - very lag

    Hello

I had my HP Probook 4520 s for 5 years and a few months ago, he started to become very lag, especially when you use the internet, streaming video and games.

I thought I had identified the problem as a bad sector on the hard drive and so I bought a new hard drive and upgraded the RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB at the same time.

When I installed the new hard drive, I couldn't burn an image of my old hard drive (it would stop during the process and was unable to do so because of an error). I used my little HP Windows 7 Pro x 64 operating system DVD and your HP Application and Driver Recovery DVD to install the necessary drivers on my replacement new drive.

The RAM and the new hard drive seem to be good, however, it's more lag. I tried to use latancy monitors to see if the drivers are the issue. It seems that there is a huge amount of latancy and my CPU is at an almost constant usuage of 100%.

LatancyMon points in the following drivers: usbport.sys, tcip.sys, acpi.sys, iastor.sys, ndis.sys, dxgkrnl.sys and so on.

I've seen forums where they will guide you step by step how to determine what drivers are causing latancy. This I could do although he always seems to change drivers who are the cause of the problem and there seems to be a lot of pilots of causing this problem it is so difficult to bring out here that one. In addition, there seems to be no solution to these problems. The only one offered is to update the offending drivers. This does not solve the problem with lag and the latancy yet.

    Any ideas?

P.s. I really don't know not what is the underlying issue is here so I don't know if this is the right forum to post in. Drivers may not at all be the issue, I spent the last four weeks trying to solve this problem.

    Hello skinandbones13

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

I understand that you have a problem with your laptop. However, since it is a commercial laptop, you should post your question on the map cell of the HP Enterprise Forums for a better answer.

  • What should I do to install HP PSC 2175 on Windows 7 Pro 32 Bit computer brand new?

    Hi all

New here, but have used HP printers for eons.

I just 'retired' my old Win XP computer which was attached my printer PSC 2175 and works very well. I am now set up my brand new win 7 Pro 32 Bit computer and I was wondering what I should do first steps.

    1. I have to install the CD printing software and follow the on-screen instructions?

    2. then, I should go to the HP website and download all the up-to-date drivers I need?

I bought the printer in 2006 and the "cheat sheet" included for installation only mentions computers running up to XP. But I understand that this printer is compatible with Win 7 and since it runs like a dream, I don't want to buy a new printer, if I did not really.

Thanks for all your help in advance

    Barb

@fritzmom, Sorry so late for your response. You will need to configure your printer first hardware. Install the ink cartridges and leave the initialization process.

When the printer is on the main screen, then you can download the drivers from the Web site or the installation CD.

Either way is fine. If you want to download the latest drivers, simply go to the link below.

@2of4, all you have to do is re - download by connecting the USB cable. Here is a link that may help.

  • Pavilion model 11-n001sa: installing Windows HP pro on the HP Pavilion model No. 11 - n001sa

I replaced the original hard disk, it was windows 10 installed.

This small laptop is idea for my Renault Clip software, so we need to install Windows XP pro.

I tried different setting in the bios, XP is listed, theres so no reason for it not install it!

Using windows XP pro sp 2 & 3 installation disc, but keep the blue screen dreaded towards the end of the installation.

Come on HP, I need your advice please.

    Hello:

There is a very good reason that XP does not install.

Intel did not provide any sata ahci drivers for the chipset that has your laptop.

That's why you got the BSOD.  XP cannot find the hard drive.

The latest processors from Intel-based notebook chipsets which had support for XP have laptops with the 7 Series chipsets.

Not to mention the fact that you wouldn't find any graphic or wireless drivers for XP even if you can get it (that you can't) install.

  • Install Windows 10 Pro lowered home (with no product key) after expenses.

Received my Lenovo ThinkPad 11th yesterday and after much research, I decided to do a clean install. It came with WIndows 10 Pro and I checked the settings (that I created my Windows account at the same time) and he said that it has been activated using Windows. According to the instructions of Microsoft (and various YouTube videos, I've looked), once a machine is activated, it would automatically update the product key, so no need to find.

That is the problem. I had installed 10 Windows on a USB key and the installation went well, or so I thought. I checked the settings after installing different programs that I would use as he said that I need activate Windows. Well, checking settings, he lowered me 10 Windows Home and of course the the product key in the system (if it's still there) that is the error I get is not valid.

Of course, it is not a product key on the bottom of the computer and there is nothing in the box. How can I get my product key back so that I can install Pro back?

Using ProduKey, I get two different keys. One for the new Home edition and the other for the OEM Bios. I guess that I need reintsall (new) and use the key in BIOS Yes?

So guess what? He's back for Pro and it is activated!

I think what happened is that I downloaded the single language version and that's what he screwed up. I just redownloaded windows 10 (first on the menu drop-down) and he installed Pro and activated.

Creating new media doesn't let you choose, he will choose for you based on your product key from the system.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Satellite A100-709 - Windows XP Pro lost key

    Hello

I formatted my machine today and re-installed the same operating system (Windows XP Pro), but did not notice that my key of windows on the back of my Satellite A100-709 has been torn. :(

So now I have a machine with an inactive license.
No idea how I can get it back, should I talk to Toshiba/Windows to do knowing that they might have in their books of b?

    Hello to omak

Problem s that this key at the bottom isn't for the activation of the OS and this is the license for the original Windows Toshiba version offers with this laptop.

If you are using clean install of Windows XP Home edition, you must use the key to legal license for this version.
You have original Toshiba recovery DVD that you got with your laptop?

  • Tecra M2: Installing a clean version of Win XP Pro

I have a tecra M2, and due to the number of updates and SP2 version I would like to format, install a clean version of windows xp pro and then install all programs and drivers toshiba.

I am looking for guidance in which order I should install them, one I did, then I would like to use sysprep and creat a new ghost image.

    Hello

Why did you install the clean version of Win XP? I m sure you have the cd to recover.
I would recommend using the recovery CD. There is already a ghost image and all Toshiba drivers and utilities are preinstalled. This OS has been tested and it works correctly.
But to install the drivers correctly, please follow the order on the Toshiba driver download area.

    Good bye

  • Downgrade from Windows Vista Home Edition to Windows XP Pro Dutch on Satellite P200-15N

Not knowing where I really should put this... I put it in this part of the forum too :)

    So:

    Hello

I bought a new laptop with Vista Home and two Partitions... I would like to install on the second partition "Windows XP pro" (with official key & SP2 included)! But when I run the XP Cd I get an error that the HD is not recognized... So I searched on the forum here, to see if there is a possibility of passby he...

    So what I did:
    (1) I download the "Intel storage drivers" of->
    http://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/Filter_Results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2101&OS FullName = Windows * + XP + Professional & lang = eng & strOSs = 44 & submit = Go %21

    (2) I used the Floppy machine, to create a floppy disk with the necessary drivers (also from the above site)

    (3) I downloaded a copy of freeware "Nlite".

    (4) I also downloaded the additional drivers on the "Toshiba" site itself (Lan, storage,...)

    (5) I did a "Xp Pro P200-15N" card and put all the drivers... Including the Exe I downloaded from the link above named "iata76_cd.exe"...

    (6) I have made a new Win XP bootable CD with "Nlite" & added all the drivers that I downloaded and followed the procedure given by "Nlite". He made a new bootable CD (with all the drivers and .exe and .inf, etc...)

    (7) then I boot my laptop with the CD, but it always gives an error on sata drives... (that it can not be found...)

So my question is... What I'm doing wrong and what should the other drivers I download to make it work? I have an external USB floppy drive... If additional drivers must be added... So I hope that there is someone can help to Ho...

I install XP for professional reasons. Things Vista Home can not handle...

Hope I got a respons soon... CZ, looks really URGENT...

THX in advance and sorry if there are errors in my writing (I still am of Belgium)

    UPDATE *.
The method above does not work for me... So took my USB floppy drive and put the drivers on it (hit 'F6' at the start, added the drivers found on the link above, it install it)...
Then I could also choose a partition...

So far so good... He asked me if wanted to format it or not... I said ok...
Then, when he wanted to start the copy, I got:

Insert the CD-rom or the floppy disk with the name
    Driver Intel Matrix Storage Manager
    In station of A:

    * Press ENTER when you are ready...

And I do not know what I do... CZ hitting enter doesn't do anything: s

So what I'm doing wrong, it becomes really ANNOYING and frustrating... I did everything they said in the link, in fact the method with f6, but still now reaction: s... Everyone?

    Sincerely,
    Frédéric
