• ATG 10.1.2. How to set password BCC by CIM?

  I'm new to 10.1.2 version, trying to install and configure properly to learn it. With CIM, I configured and set the editing, Production and staging of instances.
  
  I ran BCC after installation (8180/atg/ICC) and was invited to the password - admin/admin or merchandising/merchandising set by default in previous versions of ATG has not worked in 10.1.
  
  I learned from ATGInstallGuide that there is no predefined default password in 10.1.2 and I have to put them well CIM. (Or ACC)
  
  What is said here:
  * "By the CIM. During the post-installation process, CIM invites you to set passwords for the *.
  * default profiles that your environment requires «*»
  
  I remember I once asked a password for the user of merchandising only, and the password I put cannot Bcc, so, probably, it was for something else.
  
  Advise please, how to set BCC default account passwords (admin, merchandising and etc.) in the ICD? I do not see this option in the CIM - I have everything in the CIM and did not find it
  
  Just in case where there is a list of options THAT CIM gives me after running:

  CIM will ask new passwords when you select Create Schema and import the data. If you have forgotten the pwd given by you, you can reset it.

  I'm trying the application installation via CIM tools CRS. ATGPublishing, ATGProduction servers are in place and get below error while doing full deployment.

• Driver installation: installation failed

I get an error either saying graphics will render not or should I simply DirectDraw 3D

  I think that CIM & P is still a stand alone server, but a lot of the user final CIM & P management has been moved to CUCM.  Previously, it was just licenses in CUCM.  But now licenses and all profile configurations are made on CUCM.  That specific server things are really done on CIM & P

• ESXi 4.0 installation

  I met a problem right from the door when you try to install esxi 4.0 on my PowerEdge 2850. When it goes through its unpacking (VMkboot.gz, vmkernel.gz, sys.vgz and cim.vgz) installation files happens to cim.vgz and - error ' Fatal: out of memory reading cim.vgz "and attempts to restart the installation.

  I was able to load several different OS on this box without problem, until now ESXi has been the only one to give me questions.

• HP ESXi 4.1 installation CD

  We are mainly HP datacenter. I am aware of the installation of HP ESXi ISO. I think the only change is the inclusion of HP specific CIM providers. So now I could use VMware software and updated ICD drivers separately or simply use the device all inclusive HP install software.

  I've been kind of edge when talking about ESXi embedded but, really, I don't like the idea of specific versions of the ESX software vendor as much. I think I'm leaning towards keeping the updates of ICD as a separate process and stick with VMware ISOs.

  Someone at - he of the additional thoughts on this?

  Environment variable PATH is for executables.

  Environment variable CLASSPATH's for the class files. Then create CLASSPATH as the variable name and place the path to your ojdbc.jar as the value for it

• Net-SNMP installation on server ESXi 3.5

  Can someone tell me if they tried or if you can install Net-SNMP for linux on a box of ESXi 3.5? I am using SolarWinds to monitor my box, but I am entered in the mode of the server tech support and tried to look for whatever it is SNMP, and he had nothing. So, which leads me to believe that I have to install SNMP on it. Can someone give me the file information that I need to copy on the box and install it? Also, I downloaded the cleint remote CLI and I have all the files needed to get that rough, but I just thought it would be easier now since I am able to ssh to the box.

  Welcome to the VMware community forums.  ESXi is not design to allow the installation of the packages, and while it uses a code of Linux (for drivers for example) the vmkernel not Linux based so you can't add Linux packages on the console.   ESXi supports SNMP traps, but not of to and monitoring for the equipment is intended to be made through CIM providers.

• Crashing apps and the slow performance since the installation of macOS Sierra

  Im a user of long date Mac but displays the first time that I was pretty happy with everything that on my macbook pro for the past years... until I installed Sierra a day ago.

  Yes. It is always essential to backup before starting any kind of a major project as an upgrade of the operating system.

  Old saying IT: it is always best to have a backup, no need then to need a backup and not have it.

• After the installation of Sierra, calendar does not work

  After installation of Sierra, when you open the calendar on my Mac, missing entries and the screen is frozen with the comment 'Moving calendars to the server account.' I signed that I the cloud to see if it would help, but I still have this problem.

  If I understand your message to the right, at the opening of the calendars for the first time after upgrading to Mac OS Sierra, you are missing calendar events and the app is frozen with a message saying "moving to Server account schedules. Calendars, this is one of my apps used on my Mac, so I certainly understand the importance of having the opening and operating as usual. I'm happy to help you to turn it on again!

  Icloud and a signature was an excellent step to try. Here are the steps I recommend to do next:
  

  1. Check that the date and time are correct in your Mac by following the steps in macOS Sierra: set the date and time on your Mac.
  2. Close the present calendars on your Mac. If you are also reminders, close that as well as reminders and schedules work together. If the calendars close normally, will not force close it by clicking the  in the upper left corner of your screen, select force to close, select the calendars in the list of open applications, and then click the button close Force.
  3. Go to System Preferences > iCloud and uncheck the boxes next to the calendars and reminders.
  4. Restart your Mac.
  5. A times restarted, open again your calendar application, select "Calendar" in the Apple menu bar in the left corner of your screen, select "Add an account", choose iCloud and sign in with your Apple and the password.
  6. Give your calendar some time to sync and charge all your data. Once it is loaded successfully, and you can see all your events, open the reminders and do the same steps for signing in iCloud there are also well.

• What is the installer.app?

  Nobody knows what's 'installer.app '?  It looks like a pig... major on my monitor of activity... I'm trying to diagnose performance problems do I need?

  After researching this a little app, looks like it may be an old app that is not supported. I suggest looking up the app in your Applications folder and get rid of it, because it is probably more useful for you.

• Installation of MacOS Sierra is not possible (no boot volume)

  Hello everyone

  I have an iMac with the following characteristics:

  

  and I'm trying to install the new Sierra of MacOS. But everytime I open the installation program, it tells me that I can't use the partition called 'Mac OS X', which is my main Mac partition on my drive of fusion, for the installation of Sierra because it cannot be used as a boot volume. Of course, it's completely absurd because I started 'Mac OS X' volume whenever I boot my Mac!

  Hi mpauli,

  I see that the Sierra of macOS Installer gives you a message saying "this disk cannot be used to start your computer." In order to get this problem solved, I suggest you follow through the troubleshooting steps in the link below.

  Setup notes "OS X can not be installed on your computer" or "this disc cannot be used to start your computer.
