  Now... I can help you. CS4 is fully supported under Win7 in 32 and 64 bit. I have the complete collection of master here and everything works fine.

  It is somewhat a matter of multi on most of the adobe suite applications...

  I am currently at the University in collaboration with Premiere Pro and After Effects CS4, I am come to and end in a project with Premiere Pro CS4, but sitting in my hands right now are a brand new box of master suite CS5 Adobe and I'm looking forward to install, but as you may have guessed I'm afraid that the CS4 files above will not work.

  I do also not use any 3rd party fx i.e Borix etc.

  Also is it possible to save a file of CS5 is backward compatible with CS4 or CS3 Win or MAC applications?  I read somewhere that you can save as a legacy file, but do not know if this applies to all of the master suite.

  PS I use the Version of MAC OS x, no PC

  I thought about it, here is the solution:

  Right-click on the application and go to "Show Package Contents".

  Search for "Contents/MacOS" and open that folder in the Terminal

  In terminal run: sudo. / Install

  Select the previous product (what you own) and you will be asked for the serial number of the previous product.

  Photoshop requires at least version 8.4 of camera raw to be able to directly open these Nikon NEF D4S files which is available in Photoshop CS6 and above versions (not in CS5)

  Reference article: supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices

  You can upgrade to a higher version of Photoshop or download Adobe DNG converter to convert raw files to DNG and access these DNG files in Photoshop CS5.

  I have a CS5 Design Preumium student edition I had while in College but the laptop I installed it on no longer works and I would like to install it on my new computer. When I tried to install it, I got over 100 error messages.
