  I have a Canon EOS 7 d and a Canon EOS 50 d and CS4 Extended, I downloaded the camera raw 5.3 update for windows.  The CS4 is grateful to my on my 50 d but not my 7 d raw files, can someone help out me?

  Download the last 5.7 update. Support for the Canon 7 d was added in 5.6 and is not available in point 5.3.

  I'm curious - what information or links bring you to download the patch instead of the updated 5.7 5.3? I assume that you have downloaded the updated recently (April 22 or 23, 2010) based on the date of your post.

I have the full version of the standard cs3 on my Mac so I insert the number. OK so far. on the same page it asks me to choose my product qualifying showing cs3 extended in the box. However when I try to insert the standard cs3 I find there is nothing to change this option only one.  On the adobe website, it clearly shows that I should be able to update to the standard version, expanded. Can someone dvise me. I bought the upgrade of Apple and it is the international version.

  Sorry for the delay on the attachment. It seems that this "clearance" and is no longer in the queue.

  I used SketchUp 7 (7.0.10248) (not Pro), so you can update, but I found some useful things.

  It was just using a rectangle pulled up in a cubic geometry. If you use a solid color for each side, export creates a single card for each face. If you leave undefined styles of face of geometry, the export will create UV-mapping that overlaps. And if you use tiling textures, you get really tiny targets which you can't paint at all (as you see).

  To display the mapping UV in Ps, open a diffuse map and then go to 3D > create UV Overlay > wired. This will create a new layer and draw in the triangle UV mapping. For painting, you want to see overlapping triangles, which are quite equal in the region and the opening (think triangulated spaces). The tight angles and small area makes for difficult to project in own pixels targets.

  I can't perform an installation of Adobe Creative Suite 4 and can't remove the part that has been installed.

  This is my story.

  I installed CS4 using a CD on my secondary computer (Lenovo SL510, Windows 7)

  When he got to the part for the installation of Photoshop, the CD was a mistake to write or something and was able to complete the installation.

  When you run the Setup program for PS CS4 Extended, an error message that says that the DB is corrupted, and communicate with Adobe.  I can't find a way to get a specific support on this issue with Adobe.  Ideas?

• CS4 Extended User: 32 GB of photos of the session will not download through Bridge.  Help!

  Hi people,

  First time poster here.  I am running CS4 Extended on my old Windows 7 PC for one year.

  I did 13 mini sessions over the weekend.  I am a portrait photographer and have had ZERO problems with my CS4 extended last year.  I always upload my photos through the bride (and Adobe Photo Downloader). I adjust them in Adobe Camera Raw, and then open them in Photoshop.  No problems so far.

  I shot 8 of my sessions on a 32 GB card.  Usually, it takes minutes to get the images out of my card.  Now?  It takes DAYS. I realize that 32 GB is a lot trying to download everything at once, so I'm decaying clustered image 100-200 each.  But everytime I try it, my Photo downloader block eventually.  I HAVE to get these images out of my cards as soon as possible!  Help!

  Symptoms:

  (1) the thumbnails ALWAYS take to generate

  (2) when I click on the images to download, they take forever to download (as... hours... for 100 images).

  (3) after an hour or two, the Photo Uploaders no longer works and I have to close the program.

  I tried:

  (1) restart the computer - 6 x without result

  (2) turn off my norton 360

  3) update my Adobe and Photoshop - all software up to date

  WTH is happening?

  Yes, .cr2 files copied directly into your computer is accessible via the Adobe software.

  If you still see slow operation, something may have gone wrong with your system configuration or see

  If this is the case, try to take some photos on a spare card and see if it loads at the speed.

• Video jumpy after export Quicktime Movie of PS CS4 Extended

  I am producing a training video for short-term work.  I created my entire movie in iMovie ' 09 and she had desperately need a few arrows and text in order to clarify some more technical aspects.  I've exported as a Quicktime from iMovie file and imported in Ps CS4 extended.

  After having finished the mounting, I chose to export my video, once again as a Quicktime movie.

  The export is complete, and when I went to see my movie, he was extremely nervous.  Watch the online time on the bottom of the Quicktime screen, I noticed that he was jumping in several intervals of seconds.  The audio sounds like normal, but kept the video freeze and interference.

  I tried to re - export the video with Quicktime Animation settings, and Frames Per Second to know.

  No difference.

  Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

  The animation codec is lossless, but it works best on the flat areas of color (like animation 2D, The Simpsons, etc.). I don't think that it handles live action or else noise. The ultrasound imaging can be quite noisy. The nervousness could be the animation codec choke in noisy real action?

  If you don't want a double-compress, you should worry about compression far upward flow. Looks like iMovie gives you already a highly compressed h.264. You could try exporting from iMovie to the highest possible bitrate video (= less loss).

  I downloaded recently, successfully, in my new copy of PhotoShop CS4 Extended 11.0 version. I then updated the program to version 11.0.1. I was (and am still), using my Photoshop Elements 7.0 and have been very successful download and access to my OnOne Software plug-in, Genuine Fractals 6.0 and FocalPoint 2.0 as well as some filters from NIK Software.

  So I was excited to start using CS4 Extended and the first thing I did after the download and update was to load my FocalPoint 2. plugin. Now, I had spent literally 20 hours in total over a period of 2 consecutive days trying every variation I could think to place the Plugin, (one of them), in the program of CS4 so that I can access and open them at will. But I can't do them appears in the section "Controller" in the drop-down list of menu files. They also do NOT appear under "Plug-ins" in the drop-down Help Menu.

  As I said earlier, I have no problem with their use in my Photoshop Elements 7 and I just got a reply from Support Adobe technique that said that these Plugins will certainly work in CS4 Extended. But they also felt that the problem must be addressed by the manufacturers of Pugin. I'll try to contact them as well, but I don't expect much because this view is inconsistent with the fact that these same Plugins work fine on the PSE 7.

  I have an AMD Phenom X 4 2.0 GHz with 8 GB of Ram and an ATI Radeon 4600 all in my desktop HP Pavilion p6230f PC. My operating system is Windows 7.0 Edition Home Premium 64-bit.

  I won't bore anyone with the details of what I've tried so far because someone out there perhaps had the same problem and knows what to do. So if there are people out there who can help, I'd be very happy. Rich56

  If plugins do not appear in the 64-bit application, they are not written probably for 64 bit.

  The 32-bit application (which is installed with the 64-bit application) to access these plugins.

  And check with the manufacturer of plugin for updates.
