  Downloaded the 2 files of Windows to install Adobe Design Standard CS 5.5.

  All the 2 files in the same folder but after click on the .exe file, I get the error message, the archive is not in the same directory (translated from the Dutch of the error message).

  How should I solve this? I have re downloaded the 2 files but still the same message appears.

  The .7z 2.0 GB file shown in the screenshot is for CS5, CS5.5 not.

  Must be a 2.5 GB file named DesignStandard_CS5_5_LS1.7z

  Both the English version. I guess you are does not download the 7.1 GB version which includes Dutch?

  I have to buy a new Mac Mini with os x Yosemite.  I want to install CS5 on the new computer, but suppose that serial number will not activate on another computer unless it is somehow disabled on the former.  How do I do that?

• Adobe Design Standard CS5 Illustrator crashed when closing

  We have 3 computers with installed Adobe Design Std and the one I use is faced with a problem that I can't find a solution.

  Whenever I close Illustrator after completing my work, Illustrator will crash with the message "Adobe Illustrator CS5.1 has stopped working and Windows is to find a solution"

  that there is of course no solution to this problem.

  I contacted Adobe support which is based in India and after that keep me on the phone for a year and a half hours gave me no help at all. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but

  He repeated that he can help me, asked me to remove all temporary files. As the guy said, "in Windows XP, navigate to your temporary folders of windows and adobe and delete

  all temporary files created. For the love of God, I kept reminding him that I use Windows 7 Pro and everything he can whisper upwards is 'in Windows XP' when I kept telling him that I use

  Windows 7! He was then abruptly cuts me when I asked to speak to his superior. I never called back because I think it's a waste of my time talking to someone that has hampered the intelligence of my brain!

  In my view, it is a common problem and knowledge of support tech on computers are no better than mine. IT has been since the early 1980s I think I better knowledge

  on hard/software.

  As I mentioned, Illustrator will always crash and it's irritating more then anything else. I hope that Adobe can solve this problem short asks me to reinstall or reformat

  the computer which I believe will not help my dilemma. I was cleaning my registry/temp files, even reinstalled Design Std after the uninstall and the problem persists.

  Note: I installed Design Std on some other computers to try and Illustrator CRASHED the same way on a couple of them isn't intermitten problem.

  System:

  Core 2 Duo with 2 GB of RAM, nVidia 210 graphics, hard drives, 2.5 TB.

  Try to run permissions Reset Utility of amd disk utility after restarting try to launch Illustrator.

  If that doesn't work try & make sure that the current user and admin has full right on Adobe Mac directories as below.

  / Applications/utilities/Adobe *.

  / Library/Application Support / Adobe *.
