  When installing elements 11 on my laptop Windows 7 first, I get to the destination drive section and change my drive c: (system files) on my drive d: (data).  Clicking next the installer tells me that the c: drive not space.  I do not want to save it in the c: drive, but it will not record the change.  Can anyone suggest how I can get it to recognize that I want on the d: drive?

  You can try the suggestions below:

  1. make sure that the system meets the minimum requirements

  2 remove already installed application files.

  3. check the CD drive and CD-ROM.

  4. install Photoshop Elements or Adobe Premiere Elements from the desktop.

  5 install the current Windows service packs and other updates

  6. install Photoshop Elements or Adobe Premiere Elements in a simplified mode.

  7. install as an administrator.

  8. install in a folder at the root of the hard drive.

  What operating system do you use? This error occurs when something is wrong with the .NET assembly.

• Installation of first elements problem

  I recently bought Adobe Photoshop and first Elements 10 bundle in a store and installed on the Windows XP SP2 computer.  I ran to the first elements 1 and Adobe Photoshop CS and uninstalled first elements 1 before installing version 10.  The installation ran without errors and has reported a successful installation.  During the launch, the Welcome screen appears, and options buttons change color on mouseover, but after clicking on one of the buttons in the application crashes.  The buttons are no longer change color and must be killed with the Task Manager to close the Welcome screen.  Other windows applications continue to work normally.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled with the same results.

  Recently, I broke my laptop where it is irretrievably. However, I managed to recover the hard disk and use it as external storage. Previously, I had Windows 7 MSDNAA program my offer United and installed in the broken laptop. But now, I would get a new laptop and install Windows 7 on a new. I understand that a version OEM of Windows cannot install on one computer only and cannot be transferred to another. The questions are:
  1. I'm not sure of the version of my windows and I can't check properties by right-clicking on my computer as the HARD drive is now used as external storage. How can I tell if the copy of Windows 7, I got is OEM or retail version?
  2 from what I learned in the forum, if my Windows 7 is not an OEM version, I can install iy on another computer, provided that I do a phone activation. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
