  The new Photoshop is a subscription version.  You don't need an older version, and there is no discount for buying.  Even if you are looking to get CS6, there is no way to upgrade to CS3, so eventually you get the full version anyway.

  Not required for up to 2 activations.

  If you already have two simultaneous activations in use and want to spend one of your existing activations to another computer, and then deactivate you the software on one of the existing computers before you install on the new computer. Open any application (for example, Photoshop), then click on help (Win) or Photoshop (Mac) > disable to disable the entire suite on this computer.

  No need to uninstall the software once disabled. You can leave installed in case you want to reactivate it later.

  No there won't be any concern registering the software from a new computer because registration is done in what concerns the validation of the email that you have defined for your Adobe ID

  However, before you uninstall the software from your old computer make sure you Deactivate the license by going to the 'Help' menu and select 'Disable' else, it would increase the number of activations of the license.
