Installation of the Interactive Web Client - Reporting Hyperion
Hello
Trying to open the reports in the creation of interactive reports, the first window that appears is:
The top of the window that is associated with this link "jar: . http:// < Hyperion IP >: 19000/workspace /... /... / InsightInstaller/Insight.jar!/Installation_page.html?-l0009 " ". and my local machine comes up with 'no apps are installed to run this type of link (jar)' and yet I have Java installed on the machine.
The strange thing is when I click on tools-> installation-> Interactive Reporting Web Client through the installation process successfully and still when I open a report it does not recognize that I have already installed the client.
I'm curious to know if Miss me anything from my local computer? I need to install a version of Java? I'm under IE 11 in compatibility view and 1.8.0_73 64-bit Java
I suggest that check you the Support matrix product

Hi all
We currently use DRM Version 11.1.2.2.302 patch.
We are facing the error when we open the web console below.
The /drm-web-client/Logon.aspx file was not precompiled and cannot be requested.
It used to work very well and we see that this web configuration file has been updated. I assume that there is a problem with Internet Information services.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

That means ODP.net cannot be installed in an existing home to Oracle. If this is not the case, how can I install it separately to get the job of EPMA.
OK got it works by manipulating inventory. It seems that there is an old facility that was causing the problem.

"Cannot find table.txt from the previous installation.

I uninstalled everything that he and cleaned the registry keys as well.
could you please help me how to fix this error...?Hello
Assuming you are using windows 2003 and you have not installed another siebel server software, go to c:/windows folder, make a backup of the current vpd.properties file, remove it and restart your installation again. file VPD. Properties is created by installshield to keep track of the facilities. It is always good to have a backup in case you have problems installing. Support.oracle.com Doc ID 520528.1 has more information on this file.
It will be useful,

I have Windows xp OS. Installation is underway for about a week. Don't know if the installation is a valid installation of Microsoft. Ran a virus/malware scan etc. and negative.
Hi John,.
Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community.
I understand that you can not install kb2729450.
Before you start the troubleshooting steps, I need the information required.
1. you receive an error message?
2 are you able to install other updates to windows correctly?
3 did you changes to the computer?
Method 1:
I suggest you perform the clean boot and check.
Place the computer in a clean boot state, then check if it helps. You can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353
Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.
After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.
(a) click Start, run.
(b) type msconfigand click OK.
(c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.
(d) click the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.
(e) when you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.
Method 2:
I suggest you of for windows update issues, visit the link.

When I connect on our vCenter 6 Update 1 device (embedded PSC) via the Web Client with integrated Active Directory ID, select "System Configuration", then select the node for vCenter, summary screen displays all the information IP or host name. In addition, the status of availability and workload for storage/memory/swap/load of work view all 'unknown '. See attached photo for reference.
All values under management-> settings are also empty.
When I login with [email protected], all the above values are displayed and I can change the settings of the device of vCenter as expected. This made me suspect a permission problem exists, but I cannot know what SSO group to add our AD is less to enable management or control of the aircraft from vCenter for that it works as expected.
Already tried to add our accounts to the following groups in SSO under the vsphere.local domain:
DCAdmins
SystemConfiguration.Administrators
ComponentManager.Administrators
Directors
This information on the purpose of each group unfortunately did not help me understand which could apply:
Groups in the field of vsphere.local
Thank you very much for the help!
I just did some digging on this myself (we deployed now U2 6.0) after I tried the same things (adding AD users in the SSO domain groups, etc. etc.) without success.
What I have found is that it is simply a WELL-KNOWN PROBLEM with 6.0 U2 and maybe they'll fix with U3 6.0 when that comes out (later this summer)? Maybe it'll be 6.5 at that time, with an announcement to the VMworld 2016 or something - who knows.
The workaround is a joke--suggesting the deployment using only the SSO domain by default. Well, which is never going to happen naturally, so he says as a workaround is, if you really need to get and display status, etc. from the web client, you simply connect with your [email protected] account that was created at the initial time of installation.

Why can't I see hosts/guests in my vCenter while I can see them in the Web Client vSphere?
Hello
IM new to VmWare\PowerCLI. The goal is to get a list of VM guests in a vCenter via PowerCLI. I can see 80 guests when I connect via the Web Client vSphere, but when I use the PowerCLI cmdlets, a Get-VMHost returns nothing. I did the following:
1 connect-VIServer the username-password IluvVmWare myserver.acme.com-acme\BigDog connects fine without error.
2. $defaultviserver | Select * shows me the default connection properties.
3 get-data center shows me 2 data centers; DC1 and DC2
4 get-DataCenter DC1. Get-VMHost returns nothing
5 get-VMHost returns nothing
6 get-vmhost-Server myserver.acme.com returns nothing
What I do wrong with PowerCLI so I can't get a dump of the hosts on the vCenter? I can see them all in the vSphere Web Client, so permissions seem fine.
It looks like that there.
You must speak with the vCenter admin I guess.
More simple would you give permissions to view read-only on the vCenter and let this authorization to spread.
Out of curiosity, this shows the VMHostname?
Get - VM | Select Name,@{N='VMHost'; E={$_. VMHost.Name}}

I'm having a problem with a plugin developed for 5.1. Works very well with the two web client 5.1 and 5.5.
I'm trying to deploy the same plug-in in the web client 6.0 and follows with the reference of this binding changes for compatibility:
2 important reminders for your plugin 5.5 is compatible with the Web Client 6.0
-Change Web-ContextPath, vsphere client /-name of the plugin in the MANIFEST. MF
-Configured by default two channels, one amf and secure-amf services - config.xml and remote - config.xml.:
After these changes, I was able to resolve the "cannot load resources... '. "errors. And I am able to see my plugin icon.
I made changes to my own proxy class (CustomProxy) to use ServiceUtil.getDefaultChannelUri (). I added the ServiceUtil code to my plugin rather the upgrade of an SDK 5.1 to SDK 5.5.2.
Now get an error message when you click the icon of the plugin:
"VerifyError: Error #1053: illegal override of CustomProxy...". ». Please find the screenshot of the flash error attached drive.
Could someone guide possible cause and resolution of the issue?
Thank you.
Now I realize the you will not be able to compile it:
public void callService(methodName:String,_arguments:Array,_callback:Function_=_null,_callContext:Object_=_null,_ _opId:String_=_null_):void {}
It turns out that BaseProxy backward compatibility is broken If we substitute the callService method . We'll resolve this in the next version of hotfix or update.
I can you advice how to solve this problem for your plugin. And it will work with 6.0. But after that we released the patch, your code will break. The only thing you can do at this stage is to remove from your CustombaseProxy.
So I recommend the following:
1 extract the logic that you have about the utility class, for example ProxyArgumentsUtil
I don't understand why keep you the reference to m_reqMetaData and not to create a new instance for each request.
If you do this, you can have a simple util class with a single static method in it. If you need this reference, then your utility class should be instantiated.
2. all the classes that extend CustomBaseProxy should extend directly the BaseProxy
3. whenever you call callService, use this ProxyArgumentsUtil to manage your "arguments" parameter
4. remove the CustomBaseProxy
Apologize for the inconvenience.

Very slow performance with the Web Client vSphere
I'm testing the vSphere Web Client, but I find it excruciatingly slow - it takes almost 5 minutes just to open a session, and each click after that I take a good load of 30 seconds before the new page is completed. I think I spent a good 10 minutes to total just go to the screen where I could power on a virtual machine, which is something that can been done in less than a minute using the traditional desktop client.
Horribly misconfigured web client somehow?
The following changes improved the performance of the web client of my client. So far, no more hung tasks, navigation in the console of the web client has been improved. We are always monitoring well.
Has increased the heap size JVM of vSphere Web Client to 3 GB. Used the following KB KB VMware: settings of the configuration in VMware vCenter Server 5.1 and 5.5 Tomcat server
