• No emails sent by the IOM approval process

  We have a problem with the mail notifications sent from the element of human task of a BPEL workflow approval in OIM 11 g R2 (SOA 11 g R1):

  On one of our circles of IOM, no approval notification is sent at all, even if they are correctly configured in the element of human task corresponds to the composite SOA. Notifications are sent correctly on another installation of the IOM that uses exactly the same composite.

  There is no trace of the IOM and SOA even try to send these messages, that they appear at all in the "State of the Message page" of the section of the mail Service of the Enterprise Manager user (not even in a "failed" State).

  We already checked:

  • AdminServer, SOAServer, OIMServer and area newspapers (they show no unusual)
  • The composites themselves (identical on both facilities)
  • The configuration of email from UMS driver (identical on both facilities)
  • The JpsContextName in the SDPMessagingServerConfig MBean and jps-config. XML (identical on both facilities)

  What are we missing that could be the cause of this problem?

  In enterprise manager, right-click of your soa server instance, under Administration of SOA, select properties of Notification Workflow.  From there set the Notification Mode and the emails below.

• OIM 11 g R2 installation question. Failed to create schema of the IOM by using RCU 11.1.2

  I tried to install OIM 11 g R2 on a Windows 2008 R2 64-bit server and were met the following error during the creation of diagrams of IOM. Other patterns, such as metadata, SOA, user's email services and other associated schema creation succeeded. But creating schema IOM took more than 2 minutes and finally it fails with the error below.

  Components used:
  OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 64 Bit
  DBS: 11 GR 2 (11.2.0.1)
  UCR: 11.1.2
  
  The first error was ora-12637 package receive failure followed by Table or view does not exist. I couldn't get much information from the IOM and the rcu.log.
  
  I put the processes and the open_cursors session_cached_cursors described in preinstalling OIM 11 g R2 installation step.
  
  Pointers on what will be highly appreciated.

  Copy the msvcr71.dll rcuHome\jdk\jre\bin inside the installer of the UCR and paste in C:\Windows\SysWOW64.

  Try to rerun the rcu with the new user, i.e. instead of DEV_OIM, run it with DEV_OIM1.

  Or delete the user DEV_OIM first and then use the same user.

• Installation of the 9.0.4.14 RACF Adv in IOM connector

  We tried to install the connector Racf Adv 9.0.4.14 into 9.1.0.1 OIM, but we got the error of administration system on the web page of the console. We followed the steps below to install the connector
  
  1. low load the RACF ADV of oracle site connector
  2 unzip this file and copy it to OIMHOME\ConnectorDefaulFactory
  3 connection to the IOM web console by using the 'xelsysadm' user and tried to install the 8.Lorsque RACF ADV
  
  Result: We had 'system error has occurred, conatact system administrator' on web console itself.
  
  Then after, we loged again and checked the page install a connector through the Web console, it don't a connector is displayed in the list box editable connector.
  
  And here is the log file information

  There is a bug in the documentation of the connector.

• Change the port number of the IOM servers

  How do I change port number of servers IOM to 14000 to some other port after installation/configuration and use of the server for more than a year.

  Connect to the weblogic console and stop the server instance managed IOM. Select the IOM server instance and change the port. Start it up again, then EM to change all internal references to the new port. Also change any other application integrated to reflect the change of port.

• Communication of the IOM - SOA

  Hi all

  I try to configure the IOM and SOA with front-end OSH; After that the installation of the client of the IOM has changed the front-end server URL and the Port, so I need actulize all the parameters with the new FULL domain name.

  Now I can properly access the IOM and the SOA through the web layer, but when I try to view the "Inbox" page within IOM (like xelsysadm) I get this error message:

  Error display list of tasks. Possible reasons could be: 1. connection information for the server SOA are not available. 2 if it is running in Federated mode, the default server is maybe out of service.

  I tried to run in dashboard diagnostic checking Configuration of SOA - IOM, and after resolving all SSL issues now works correctly.

I have installed and high field and works with separate "machines" for Admin, SOA and IOM. When I do the installation of IOM, run the installation program on the administration server, or the server of the IOM? I'm new to WebLogic, so this was not stated anywhere. Anyone help is appreciated.

  As you have separate servers for IOM and SOA, you must install IOM by IOM server.

  If you want to undeploy the ear file, simply go in the weblogic console, usually something like http://localhost:7001 / console, then log in with your username weblogic admin. Access deployments and then undeploy Xellerate and Nexaweb applications. However, there are many other pieces in weblogic that operate with the IOM that is configured during installation. So if you are looking for an own instance, you will be better to simply create a new domain.

  These steps should be defined by the client business / work. A methodology should be for your company to implement new software and develop new applications.

  Development environment - Build and unit test features built by the developer of the IOM. Based on a list of requirements and work with system owners, you build on all the features here and test by the developer unit.
  Test environment - all 'finalized' the Director code is moved here and a list of unit tests are executed against the feature. The tester provides communicates the bugs and glitches and other additional changes that are necessary to the developer which then extends / corrections of the functionality in the development environment, then the corrected test pieces move, and test retests the functionlity until all the test cases are reached successfully.

  The following environment depends on your business. It might be just a Production environment, or else between test and Production. It depends on what is in the process.

I'm not very tech savvy, but I think it means that the BIOS can 'see' the PCMCIA CD-ROM, but that the real image of XP loaded by the installation program cannot, probably due to missing drivers for the PCMCIA CD-ROM?

  Then, I thought that maybe I could use F6 to load additional drivers during the initial installation, but it is beyond me to create the right set of files required. I know that you can download the Freecom drivers, but I don't know what are the driver files from CD to use and how to create from scratch the txtsetup.oem file right.

  Does anyone know how to properly use F6 and load the drivers for it?

  I managed to install Windows XP Home the Portege 2000 using the PCMCIA reader but I ve used recovery disks original Toshiba which includes the correct driver for external optical drive.

  So far I tried not to install Windows XP Home edition, using the Microsoft installation disc.

  Maybe you should get the disks of facilities and not use this upgrade disk. I think that on this path, you will be able to install WXP as suggested when you copy data from facilities at the disk directly.
  Have you tried to get the original recovery disc Toshiba WXP?
