Thank you.

Hello

Recovery disks can only be created the Recovery Manager application included with the oem installation.  You are installing what is in fact a retail disk, your best option may be to create a system image when you just like you want.

A good guide on this can be found on the following link.

  • Install and activate Windows by using the OEM product key

I had some issues with UEFI on my system and went to a local store because there is no support for acer in my country and the guy local flash my bios to a version not uefi-uefi. I read in an article that the product key of my windows preinstalled has been in the bios. I used some how a VB script that I found on a Web site for my product which is activated key. (1) can I still use this product key? I run the recovery disk utility and made a usb key as well as the recovery partition recovery. (2) can I use the product key with the usb of recovery in the case where my left hard drive system are also formatted?

    Original title: product key

Why the BIOS was flashed to an older version?

There is no WIndows 7 OEM embedded product key so I don't know what that means.  I asked you to run two programs to compare the key OEM of Windows 8 - reported BIOS.  We aren't interested here in another key said except OEM BIOS.  They match?  If none is reported, then it was erased with the BIOS flash.

You can contact the technical support from the manufacturer to ask how to recover your key.

I don't think it will reactivate without the key included if you reinstall.

However when he is currently enabled so what I would do is follow Clean install Windows 10 Upgrade

in order to ensure the free update now before its expiration July 31, then you will have permanent right to the PC for Windows 10 in Activation of MS servers outside any key of WIndows 8.

First, you can do the installation to another partition, that you reduce c in Disk Mgmt, as long as you start the media during installation to select the new partition, then look after installation to see if it is active Windows 8 on the drive and if so feel safe remove Windows 8 when it is ready (or not).  Until then, use the Dual Boot menu at startup to choose.

That's what I would do in your place and the sooner the better.   If the built-in product key was wiped out during the BIOS flash and technical support from the manufacturer won't help you, your best bet is to secure free Windows 10 Upgrade for the rest of the life of the PC.  The link provides the best install and has not reported complaints in total tens of thousands of people have used it.

  • Reinstall Windows 7 using the same product key on another computer.

I bought a product key on the Microsoft site, and a few days later I received the disks by mail (a year ago). I now use it on this computer, I plan on building a new computer soon. I'll be able to disable this old computer product key and activate it on the new?

Just remove it from the computer, on which it is currently installed and proceed to install on the new and reactivated by phone.

    Please note:

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

  • Windows XP Home edition has crashed - how to return WXP and use with the product key?

Hello. I bought an Equium L20 last year and after 1 year my windows crashed due to a virus. I want to know how to get a real windows xp OS because the product under my laptop key is always saved for me and is a legitimate product but I can't get windows because it was obviously preinstalled and no CD was given to me with the package.

How can I get back Windows to use with my product key on my WIN sticker below my laptop.

    Hello

First of all, it is very strange that recovery CD is not delivered with your laptop. It's hard to believe, but anything is possible. As you know after buying a new product, it is very important to check all orders sent with it and if something is missing, you must call the local as soon as possible and not to wait a year.

Sorry but this key code belongs to original recovery image and you can't use it with every installation of Windows XP Home edition CD. In your case, there are two options:
-You can buy the CD of facilities Microsoft original WXP (with the key correctly code) or
-Contact the partner of service allowed in your country and order the new CD from recovery for your laptop model.

    All that s!

    Bye and good luck!

New computers that come pre-installed with Windows often have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

    Hello

Should be no problem at all if you use the version of Windows 8 EVEN because the product key is now embedded in the BIOS of the machine. The process is to get the right installation of Windows 8 media (DVD, USB, downloaded file) and then install on your client computer. No label/sticker more for all new machines with Windows pre-installed 8.

I bought a new hard drive. I don't have a system recovery disk. Can I load Windows Vista from another source and activate using my original product key?

    Hello

There is no download available from Microsoft Vista.

Contact the manufacturer of your laptop and ask them to send a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key determines which Edition is installed.

Builders recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

    See you soon.

p.s. If the old hard drive is still installed and running before you change on hard drives and you never received the to purchase recovery discs, you can make the recovery discs from the recovery Partition which should be on the old hard drive. You will need to request that the manufacturer how to do as each computer manufacturer has their own way of making records of this partition recovery.

It depends on the old hard drive still works.
