Installation Oracle BI Publisher and the command prompt closes on its own

I am following the instructions to install Oracle BI Publisher 11.1.1.7.1 Trial Edition with the instructions available on http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-publisher/trial-edition-install-guide-1556170.pdf

The instructions tell you don't not to close the prompt during the installation process.  In my installation, command line closes on its own.

Don't know what I can do.

I'm installing on a Windows 7 64-bit PC.  I have Java installed update 7 45 and Internet Explorer 10.

Make sure that you install the BEEP in a folder that does contain no spaces. For example "C:/Program Files/BEEP...". ». Given that space in "Program Files" the guest back sometimes charge and close immediately telling me error "path not found", but the dos window closes quickly and you will not be able to see the error. Install to a different folder. Say "C:/BEEP".

Watch the docs below and remove the classpath as well.

  • U4 ESXi 4.0 and the command prompt

    Hi all

My apologies if this is a common question or if I'm missing something obvious, but for the life of me I can't understand it.

Build an environment - some ESXi 4.0 U4 and vCenter Server 4 on 2008 R2 hosts. When you generate the hosts I run some local commands on the host (for example, to disable the login Web Access as described page here: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 1016039 )

However actually get a command prompt driving me crazy.

ESXi 4.0 has not a console service - that's fine. So I downloaded the remote CLI package of vSphere and installed on my server vCenter. However I can not for the life of me figuire how actually get cela to connect to the host and present a command prompt so that I can actually run (for example, vim - cmd). I have a bin under a load of perl scripts folder (and I actually used vihostupdate.pl to apply an update) and the ESXCLI executable.

Could someone please save what remains of my hair and tell me where I'm wrong? How to access a console to execute commands etc?

I heard I can log on to the local console and enter a console "unsupported", but I am wary of this...

    Thank you

  • How do you do the command prompt window stay open after running a command?

OK, I feel stupid asking this, because I knew the answer before. I learn Visual C++ programming. The book I learn to write C++ and past then in details on the writing of the GUI from Visual C++ part. The book that I market me through compilation and to make an exe file in a cpp file, and then he said: go to the directory in Explorer and double click on the exe file. I do, and the command prompt appears a quick second before closing down. The example in the book shows the output, and the writer obviously has his guest configured to pause after executing an exe file.

I just set up my guest to do the same thing, so I can at least see the results. I know that running the exe I wrote, but I would like to see the output for less than a second.

I don't know how you code this. But if it's like a normal batch or whatever it is command line related.

Follow these steps to use a switch defined by the user at the end of the script.

To pause a file of DOS commands under Windows XP, continue to the next command, you can use the PAUSE command. Make request to the user with the text:

Press any key to continue. . .

Then the batch file is waiting for the user to press a button. However, if you want to pause a batch file and display anything? Simply redirect the results to no one as follows:

    pause > null

Given that it is perhaps not very useful (how will the user know they need to press a key to continue the batch file?) you display a different prompt. Issue a command with your desired guest ECHO, and then issue the break preceding > no command.

For example, to pause a batch file of Windows XP with the prompt "Press ENTER to run the command", use the following commands:

echo press ENTER to run the command
    pause > null

    Dear klh76

You need a USB FLASH DRIVE, you can transfer the files from the Recovery Console Windows Vista from any other pc or laptop running Windows Vista, go to the backup and restore on the other computer and click on create a drive recovery system on the file menu. Once done, insert the usb key into the laptop, you want to fix, start by using selected peripheral USB device as MBR, follow these steps on screen, you can repair a corrupt Windows Vista it or restore to a previous restore point.

    Hi Jack,

This driver belongs to AsIO.sys Asus Probe. Try to uninstall Asus Probe and if you need, install again. If this does not help, uninstall Asus Probe and other tools of control such as Speedfan. Open the registry (regedit.exe) editor and search for AsIO.sys and remove all the entries that you can find.

  • How can I change text size and point via the command prompt?

I want to create a script that will allow me to easily change to or from my TV to my monitor. I know how to change the display, but I don't know how I can change the size of text and point via the command prompt (that is, from 100% to 150%). Does anyone know how?

Unfortunately, you can not.  In addition, change the DPI requires reboot (or logout and back).  But you can apply a different theme, that you can call from the command just by opening the .themepack file.  Since themes can control the size of some elements of the police who might do the trick you are looking for.

Sorry I post the compiler in batches of 10g

Go where u run the batch file? It should be in this folder where you .fmb exist.
So then do not work. Add the path before the ifcmp60.exe
    This is the compiler 6i

    Echo compiling forms ....
    for %%f IN (*.fmb) do C:\ORANT\BIN\ifcmp60.exe userid=mail/tti@ait module=%%f batch=yes module_type=form compile_all=yes window_state=minimize
    ECHO form compilation complete

  • Laptop turns off while doing a restore on an installation of Vista OS; Displays a command prompt

Okay, so to explain, I tried to fix my laptop all day, and I am REALLY frustrated right now. First of all, it is even dvd player does not work for some reason, so I but hey, maybe I can get a (an i'm going to probably won't even get help for saying this, but I'll do everything to set) iso. I do it, it's the installation goes well and everything, and then it stops. I turn the thing back roller, then it stops again! So I turn on again thinking that it should be fine, I'll just restore it once more and go just doing nothing until tomorrow, because I got all these windows problems 7 is already leading me because of this crappy bug that screws with the battery. When I try to roll back, it is therefore display a command prompt with X:$Windows.~BT\Windows\system32 window. I'm honestly about to _ just cry because I spent all day trying to solve something and instead my laptop goes right down. I seriously No. CLUE on what to do. Help, please.

Yes, I know that I used an iso, what can do you will not help me, but please I need to know what to do.

    Hello

The line of the command prompt indicates that it is thanks in part to a facility, likely from the .iso file you downloaded. Partly the problem from that that the installer has no way to mount a file .iso on the hard disk without loading an operating system that includes support for the execution of a (usually a virtual CD drive) .iso image. Thus, installation does not end because it cannot locate the drive that contains the necessary information. Now, you're stuck with a partial installation and no way to move back and forward.

At this point, there are a regular install disc and a scanner to work. With laptops, it is best to use disks to restore / installation provided by the manufacturer the nature of one of their facilities. If your camera allows, you may be able to get away with a removable external disk to complete the installation, but you need to replace the internal drive not working in both cases.

  • wireless lan driver installation update always fail and the update corrupted my wireless driver I use Samsung series 5

Updates were recently fired the SW update. I have installed all the other updates the BIOS etc successfully, with the exception of the wireless Lan driver. Instead of doing an update, it has disabled my wireless totally when he said that the installation has failed.

During my first attempt, I downloaded the driver 100%. Then a pop up message appeared saying that "the installation may take several minutes", and then another Intel logo appears and disappears, but said later that he could not install. After that, I get disconnected from my internet connection. No sign of wireless activity were found. I tried to watch the wireless icon and it was gone. I tried to solve the problem and it says that the only device for my wireless connection is Bluetooth.

I thought it was just the problem of internet connectivity, so I tried to download the next day, but this time while being connected to a local network. The same thing happened to downloaded 100% and does not once again during installation. I just want you to know that I closed all applications and my laptop plugged in during installation if it helps your troubleshooting. I asked SAMSUNG support and they told me that the problem is with Microsoft, so I should ask them.

I tried to update for like 5 or more times, but it's the same thing. I use my laptop for work and it's like I can't live without my wireless LAN are not always available. Download of the update becomes tedious because I have to wait like half an hour to finish the download only to find out that the installation will fail. I searched his driver I can install it manually but its nowhere to be found, looks like I'm stuck with SW update

  • Aggregate in the command prompt values

    Hello

    My Table.Column has below values:

    A

    B

    C

    D

    E

I want to show: A, B, "BOTH" in the dash prompt.

When A or B are selected in the command prompt, the respective values are supposed to go to the report; and when "BOTH" are selected both A and B must be passed to the report.

Appreciate any ideas or advice.  Thank you very much in advance.

    Hello 920424 ,

You can create a group to do this.

Here are the steps to follow:

    • Create an analysis on this topic and go to the tab results click the icon with 3 blue points and a star in the menu bar.
    • Create your group by selecting a display label ('TWO') and by selecting the column and the value you want to put inside (A and B)
    • Spend the selection steps pane at the bottom of the screen and click on your group (BOTH)-->Group Save as... and save it in the subject area content folder.
    • In your guest Dashboard spend Options , add the same column and lookup values , select the values of specific columns, and then click the Plus sign.
    • Add A and B of the values in columns pane and add your component catalog group.
